Avenged sevenfold has been trash the last decade. City of Evil was their last great album. Waking the fallen was amazing too. Everything since has been mediocrity in the form of albums. They sold out, and then started letting labels choose the music they wrote.

I love A7X! I met my fiance who passed away back in January 14th of this year. 5 months ago... He put up the song Afterlife on a dating app so I commented with the lyrics. When he passed, I put that song up in honor of him. I've even played it in the hospital and his final moments hoping to wake him up but sadly he never woke up from it . He slipped into a diabetic coma and never woke up . I'm going to see if Avenged Sevenfold on August 11th at Tinley Park. I hope to God I get to meet them so I can thank them in person for helping me meet the love of my life. The song Afterlife means so much to me more than ever before.

I am never going to understand the reason behind people throwing hate on them. I mean, okay, you don't like them, we got it. But there is no need to get all pissy and bitchy about it either. What's the point? Does it help you sleep at night better or gives you a freakin' orgasm/boner? People should really learn to chill and stop insulting whatever it is that they do not find likeable from their perspective. These guys are awesome, they made it so freaking far no matter the obstacles they came across. Their music is the kind that makes us feel whatever it is that they are singing through each and every note. Happiness, love, grief..whichever emotion, they are one of the few that manage to bring life to their music.
I remember back when I was in Elementary school and 7th grade middle school, I had watched some Onision (yeah that guy...just ew) and he was listening to his fans music.
