Oldest & Historical Mansion Of Sardar Jawala Singh Sandhu In Padhana District Lahore

In this video we will show you approximately 200 years old, historical and very dangerous Mansion "Sardar Jawala Singh Sandhu" in Padhana village which is situated on Pakistan-India line zero point. This Mansion was constructed by "Maharaja Ranjit Singh" in his Era and gave it to Sardar Jawala Singh Sandhu. This is triple floors building which have labyrinths style 100 rooms, a darkest basement and 20 feet wide 2 tunnels which went to Amritsar India and Shalimar Garden from here. Now this mansion has deserted and is presenting a view of ruins. The roofs of the Mansion have fallen now. Now the building of this Mansion is in very dilapidated condition and it is very dangerous to go inside it. The Government and Archaeology Department are not taking interest to restore it. Although a large number of tourists come here daily. The owner of this Mansion Sardar Saifullah Sandhu showed us this Mansion completely and told that sometime this area was a center of business activities. People came here from far away for shopping because the all basic items of life were available here. This was the largest mansion of this area. This Mansion was stable with full blazon after the establishment of Pakistan. After that in the war of 1965 and 1971 this Mansion was targeted directly and battering on it. Indian soldiers took the doors and windows of this Mansion with them after up root. So a very big loss of this Mansion occurred and 70% part of this Mansion damaged. The local people also damaged this Mansion, they took bricks and other building materials from here and constructed their homes. The owner of this Mansion had embraced Islam in 1942 and now their offspring's are living in this Mansion. Now this Mansion is the heritability of Sandhu Family generation after generation. Maharaja Ranjit Singh has also visited this Mansion himself and stayed here for one night. No one lives in this mansion now. Sandhu Family has made a Buffalo's ranch their servants come here and feeding the animals. In fact this is a historical place of Pakistan and government should play a significant role and cooperate with the owner of this Mansion to restore this Mansion so that it can become a tourist place.
