In the past, I have commented on several channels, that the small "outpost" Daiso shops in Philippine malls do not stock camping gear. On rare occasions, one item may show up but we think these things were sent by mistake. To my surprise and great joy, Beautiful Bride returned from her last shopping trip at the mall with a bag full of Daiso camping products. Nothing as exotic as the lamp demonstrated in this video, but great products nevertheless. She scored one very small stainless steel camp cup with "butterfly" folding handles. The spot welds had come apart at some point but she did not notice that. All is OK now, I repaired the handel and our four year old is delighted with his new gear. He has been asking to make hot chocolate almost every morning on a folding pocket stove fired by an alcohol burner. He is "happy as a clam at high tide" Maybe Daiso is reading the comments on channels such as yours, I do not know. We are thankful and happy to see some camping products appear on the store shelves.
