Not just Blake, THE ENTIRE cast unfollowed him and avoided talking about him in interviews. Somehow, people turned that around to it all being Blake’s fault. If an entire cast of a movie unfollows someone, that tells me that person is in the wrong, not one of the women who unfollowed him.
That is not always true.we both know Hollywood is weird ASF and will treat people like outsiders if they don't think you fit based on race, size, and etc.
they supposedly were on his side until Ryan supposedly stepped in. Ryan's money is looooooooooooong and I think he's trying to do whatever to spin the narrative in his wife's favor. Why are people acting like this movie was a biopic?? Like do people think this is about a DV relationship that she has overcome? (I haven't seen the movie but this is literally based on a book and she's reading a script.... she's not a therapist or an activist or a motivational speaker)

So why is it her SOLE responsibility to speak on that specific part of the film’s subject matter? Maybe they don’t want to advertise the film as THEE movie on DV? That’s a large responsibility for anyone or any project to take on.

I don’t get people saying the book glorifies abuse either? I read it, and I don’t like Colleen Hoover because she is a mediocre writer lol, but that’s not what I got from the story. She leaves him in the end, how is that glorification? Glorifying would have been if they stayed together. People just say anything anymore, let’s talk about the glorification of bad names Lily Bloom the florist, Ryle…🙄
I think most of the glorification comes from the author as she tried to make a colouring book and even created a nail polish line for a domestic violence book which is rlly tone death 💀.
If the original vid is true, it even looks like the author herself doesn't focus much on the topic by romanticizing and brushing through heavy moments, and her writing is the source material.
I think that if you're going to do a movie about a serious topic, then it should be addressed as such in interviews. The fact that Ryan Reynolds, who is Blake's husband, does some sort of mock interview as a jealous husband, ABOUT an abusive husband, is in poor taste. That's not taking it seriously. Not that I was planning to see the movie anyway, but these interviews wouldn't motivate me to want to see it.
Dee, I don't think people want her to be a social justice warrior. They want Blake and other members of the cast to talk truthfully about what the movie their promoting is about. Everyone's problem is that the majority of the cast (excluding Justin) isn't talking about what the movie actually is and is passing it off as another romantic comedy you can watch just chilling with your friends. I have to agree that people are taking this way too far and just dog piling on Blake at this point. (Digging up old interviews and nitpicking everything she does) it's all unnecessary and takes away from the issue at hand. I'd also like to say that Blake isn't the only one working on this movie. There's an entire team and other actors who had to sign off on this as well.
i dont think ppl are 'mad' its rightfully criticizes on how she handled a serious matter+ other stuff like others said D’Angelo Wallace’s video better explains it

Do people not understand what an actor is? Blake is playing a character, being in this movie doesn’t obligate her to be a DV spokeswoman all of a sudden
We can ask the question both ways , but we must look at the general way society views women and constraints women , if u think about it even still today the “ perfect house wife for the perfect hard working man “ is an ideal in a lot of conservative and general society so when u think of the majority of women who do suffer DV and stay “ they are likely very dependent on their partner, and a lot of them have children which puts even more pressure. I think as a man, and we knowing the most violence on a lot of fronts comes from men we absolutely have to ask the question “ why do men harm “ a hell of a lot more than why did she stay , and also start changing the idea that women need to be dependent on society or a man.

Her husband literally makes jokes about everything dark and gross and it’s not a problem. I get the settings are different but regardless if it’s that serious like people are making it then y’all would treat it the same.
This video doesn’t rlly go deep enough . Many ppl have a problem cos she promoted her drinking line during the film even though around 70% of dv occurs due to alcohol influence.she also named one of her drinks after the abuser in the film .some ppl are nitpicking but I think this is a bigger deal and really tone deaf
you stay wrong, huh? she's a r*pe apologist too (deja vu) and she's made tone deaf comments about CSA, too. and Ryan has been lit up before, he apologizes then moves on. there's details missing. and honestly, for some people this bad press is her comeuppance for being a mean girl in the past or when she romanticized Antebellum times.
You said not everyone wants to do that….THEN DONT BE IN A MOVIE EXPECTING NOT TO SAY ANYTHING ABOUT WHAT THE MOVIE Is ABOUT.that’s the whole point of these type of movies to spread awareness especially if your a main character.
So Compelled Crimes on FB shared a old interview from ten years ago with Blake Lively (70 questions) one of her questions was what movie did you laugh to … her reply “Shawshank Redemption” 😮please please cover this
Oh I know. Whenever she is in something it becomes headlines. Regardless of what she did and didn't do, why are there mfs doing worse and they have insane supporters that fight for them like the Christian crusaders. But never the same for a non criminal, just a person with drama.
Why do the movie if you don’t want to talk about the literal main topic of the movie??? I get not wanting to be an activist but it’s like filming a movie about cars and not wanting to talk about cars lol. If you haven’t read the book, u wouldn’t understand.
People are sheep and tomorrow they'll be over it and on to the next victim of the day/week/month. Blake is human 😂 and people are just now finding that out like come on. They put her on a pedestal and now they're hating on her. Its funny.

Dee please stop reacting to Spilly. She extremely bias and always leaves out important information. She never goes into debt on anything and its annoying!🙄
She has a very dry sarcastic humor just like her husband so when the reporter was telling her people will want to tell her their story and she replied she will give her address and number that was her way of diffusing the craziness of the hypothetical situation, okay it wasn’t funny but at the same time like ‘what’??!! It’s not her job to be anyone’s therapist her job is to be an actress.
2:25 Honestly same lmao- I think toxic romance in romantic fiction is completely fine. It makes the story spicier + a lot more interesting. Fluff and slice of life gets a bit boring after you read sooo many of them. Immature people can't separate fiction from reality though, so annoying. (Like how in the X-Men, Scott cheats on Jean w/ Madeline, Emma, & Logan. 😂)
how?? what are you going on about? why bother producing it or taking the role... the very least she could have done, she could have NOT promoted her businesses or act like it's rom-com that "you and your girlfriends can hang and watch together". if she put out the DV support number originally that would have sufficed.
She named one of her drinks after the abuser in the film, she had her wedding on a plantation ,she was rude to that reporter and still hasn’t apologised.the list goes on
Beyoncé and Jay-Z weren't there idiots. It was nothing but WHYTE polticians, elites and billonaires over there. Beyoncé and Jay-Z were not even together let alone married at the time of the events either. Beyoncé was also underage. FOOL. She would've most likely been a VICTIM BOZO
She produced the movie and it’s very necessary she got people in the theaters. While her press circuit was slightly disingenuous , she wasn’t gonna tell people the movie was about DV knowing damn well most people don’t wanna watch that depressing/triggering stuff in theaters. She sold it as a romance movie to see with your girls and it worked out. Almost at $200 million already

I mean it makes sense. this isn't the first time a successful, largely popular actor pushed out a not-so-rich, famous actor, including on someone's else behalf.
Why are people acting like this movie was a biopic?? Like do people think this is about a DV relationship that she has overcome? (I haven't seen the movie but this is literally based on a book and she's reading a script.... she's not a therapist or an activist or a motivational speaker)
Ew I will say that old interview was really cringey.. passive aggressive and definitely comes off as a mean girl with a massive ego
10:15 “I wonder if they would ask the men about the clothes” someone said she was trying to do the Scarlett Johansson moves *top 10 celebs who shut down sexist interviewers* pick me energy is strong with this one
Oh good point. Maybe would’ve worked better if the interviewer was a man… 😂 and that’s a big maybe.
it's so funny you mentioned ScarHo cuz all I can think about a bit of tea back when Black Widow & Deadpool were still married; Serena used to chase after his married self. She apparently baked him treats and check up on him. WILD.
She didn’t write the original book, she didn’t write the movie script, and she didn’t direct this movie; she produced it and starred in it. So why is it her SOLE responsibility to speak on that specific part of the film’s subject matter?
Maybe they don’t want to advertise the film as THEE movie on DV? That’s a large responsibility for anyone or any project to take on.
THEN DONT FUCKING AUDITION TO DO IT! yall so shallow i sweaaaar
@@claualexis1737 what?!?!?!? bro they paid to act and a movie and THAT"S IT!!!!! yall hold people to this standard they were never set to. they gotta be Superman cause they did a movie on DV or Stalking or killing. please stop it. You sheep have NEVER held an actor to this standard before. how many domestic violence sit-downs did Jennifer Lopez do for that movie enough? yall let one NPC influence yall to be fake outraged and yall go for it. the definition of no lifers.
then why make the movie?
Who said it was her sole job? But she is the main character who suffers DV in the movie she chose to act in and husband produce. Of course she has to speak on DV when asked, theres medoa training for that but shes a weirdo
Dee i recommend you “the silent patient” it’s a psychological thriller and I read it all in one day !
Already read it, that ending 🤯
@@DeeShanell10 omggg I know right ?!!
@@l1c1a34 and it doesn't help that her son has abuse allegations that she tried to cover up... allegedly.
i would love for dee to talk to us more about her book readings omg
If the original vid is true, it even looks like the author herself doesn't focus much on the topic by romanticizing and brushing through heavy moments, and her writing is the source material.
i love tik tokers fighting against DV yet they can’t call it “domestic violence” cause they don’t wanna lose some coins
you can get demonetized or even banned for saying it??
Dee I disagree becuz Blake's whole vibes is being an advocate for woman's rights n only down plays it when sees fit to be more "marketable"
Dee always clocking unbiased tea and this is why we stan
All drama aside tho, Blake is gorgeous 😂, she's the only reason i clicked on this video
She does have a great aesthetic. Very 'Scandinavian tennisplayer/model'
she has THEE best nose job.
Nobody said she gotta be an activist. But why r u in a movie about DV, if u can't even address it?
thank you!
Dee saying she likes "The Author" (Colleen Hoover) ☠️
yessss dee! i love verity you get it! they’re making it into a movie too
Thank you for rant Dee, these people be outrage to much
Ryan be killing me 😂
at this point people just want to be mad
i dont think ppl are 'mad' its rightfully criticizes on how she handled a serious matter+ other stuff like others said D’Angelo Wallace’s video better explains it
@@lilkeyla5769both can be right tho. Let’s not act like people are still nit picking.
@@lilkeyla5769 i’ll def watch his vid cause this video isn’t clear at all? thx bae
Exactly
@@tyreek.6815yes I agree ppl are nitpicking but I think it’s cos ppl are fed up with celebrities as a whole and there’s a new wave of ppl not wanting to take their bs and fake nice personas anymore .the person who did this vid didn’t go deep enough so check out d’angelos and maybe itll open ur perspective
It ends with us is great you should read it. Just finished it going to see the movie soon. I’ll check out the book you mentioned.
Do people not understand what an actor is? Blake is playing a character, being in this movie doesn’t obligate her to be a DV spokeswoman all of a sudden
yes, it does... don't take the role or be a producer. at least, pretend to care, post the DV hotline number for the next few months then dip.
Spill sesh is annoying…
Colleen be coming out with straight BANGERS!! It ends with us is rlly good but I think you’ll rlly like Colleen’s book “Regretting You”. That shi still got me gagged onggg
Omg...the voice of the person narrating. Spill sesh?. I cant stand it when people dont speak in full voice and then amplify it. Like a mouse with megaphone. In my ear. 😂 its like trying to listen to a 14 year old relative at a birthday and you pretend to care but you have no idea what point they are making
YALL. Multiple things can be right. Regardless of her being tone death y’all are still nit picking and DRAGGING this like she a 69 god. I’ve never seen the internet so upset and having so many Kiki’s about situations/interviews that isn’t even that deep.
I mean I never liked her or Ryan but them getting married on a goddamn plantation is what made me actually dislike them
🤣 they got married on a plantation. Now that's funny asf!
It Ends With Us is romance but it has some drama in it, and not just some make up/break up mess
EXACTLY DEE
Yeah Verity and It ends with Us we're made by the same author. Nice light reading. I read them on a very legal website 🏴☠️👀
Dee you gotta read Sula by Toni Morrison! Its so good
“Force the roll”???? Oh no dee
I’m more interested in the drama than anything else
Damn, Dee's never seen any of the Deadpool movies. She's missing out on the first one from 2016.
Thank youuuu like first and foremost she is an actress that’s her job her job is not meant to be a support system for the whole internet
She promoted her alcohol line at and event and one of her drinks were named after the abuser in the film …
@@l1c1a34 Wow. That is terrible
I recommended the book but if you read the book, don’t watch the movie cause it doesn’t give it justice at all
Absolutely this bs about blake and the director. Tik tok people making this up.
So Compelled Crimes on FB shared a old interview from ten years ago with Blake Lively (70 questions) one of her questions was what movie did you laugh to … her reply “Shawshank Redemption” 😮please please cover this
Y'all just want a reason to be miserable😂 who cares!
@@getoffmygrass4857 you clearly do, what.
I feel like if you like verity you won’t like it ends with us or her other books. verity is different from her others and MUCH better
Oh I know. Whenever she is in something it becomes headlines. Regardless of what she did and didn't do, why are there mfs doing worse and they have insane supporters that fight for them like the Christian crusaders. But never the same for a non criminal, just a person with drama.
I agree with Dee 100%
15:57 same.
The outfits werent even that bad. People just want the fashionova dresses
It feels so fabricated like what pr team thought of this?
Why do the movie if you don’t want to talk about the literal main topic of the movie??? I get not wanting to be an activist but it’s like filming a movie about cars and not wanting to talk about cars lol. If you haven’t read the book, u wouldn’t understand.
People are sheep and tomorrow they'll be over it and on to the next victim of the day/week/month. Blake is human 😂 and people are just now finding that out like come on. They put her on a pedestal and now they're hating on her. Its funny.
Yup
@@getoffmygrass4857y’all are such losers
are you a sheep?
I love this title. Cuz this is the most boring drama. Like who cares she was mean to 1 lady in 2016 and had a stupid response to a question. Oh well. This isnt much of an issue.
Dee react to the strange world of collen hoover by Luke Kono 😭
EVERYONE should read Never Lie by Freida McFadden that book was my gateway to books.
Please no. That was one of the worst books I read last year lmao
@DeeShanell10 lol Dee someone need to lock you up girl with these controversial and crazy thoughts I think it's the Leo in you 🤣 a Capricorn like me would never
Verity started strong but fell flat to me by the end…I don’t think she’s a great writer 🥴🙃 I’m reading Never Lie which is somewhat similar and it’s already better lol
Never Lie pissed me off so much. It was so laughably unrealistic and predictable, it gave Tubi lmao
@@DeeShanell10 lmaooo Dee not TUBI
Blake Lively is not a star. Its kind of hilarious she faking like she is. When was she relevant besides being Ryan Reynolds wife?
they are making verity a movie as well
Dee trust me this book is NOTHING compared to verity 😂 u read the best book she ever wrote.
Yeah, I kind of see both sides . While it's not her patriotic duty to go out and do PR for DV and SA... I still find it weird how she handled it.. But if anything the movie itself is the awareness.. These issues arent new... Will Smith didnt go on a Slave awareness tour after his slave movie.. Theres still slavery in some places too. Just sayin.. Drug movies dont bring up D.A.R.E .. Its these booghee fans that wanna glaze these actors for their biddings... its ridiculous... They are actors.. They aint keeping it real.. Job is to fool you and fool you well... 😂
This is literally a nothing burger. the hailey bieber selena 2.0
there's lots of details missing.
I'm thinking she hadn't announced her pregnancy yet? Not sure, just guessing 🧐
she did like a couple of months before.
I agree with Dee.
Goodness its a movie and its a sensitive topic.
Let people live!
Dee I fucking love you THANK YOU for not being like the other losers and joining the new misogynistic hate train of the month 😂
how is it misogynistic? esp, when Blake has her own pick-me issues.
Can you react to Sabrina’s chicken shop date
Wanting someone who's PRETENDING to be a victim to spread awareness is crazy
Let's be real there are alot of people on the internet pretending.
how?? what are you going on about? why bother producing it or taking the role... the very least she could have done, she could have NOT promoted her businesses or act like it's rom-com that "you and your girlfriends can hang and watch together". if she put out the DV support number originally that would have sufficed.
I’m so happy Dee actually expresses how she genuinely feel about a certain situation, it’s beyond refreshing especially nowadays 🖤
Dee you just don’t get it cause you didn’t read the book, No shade ❤️
blake could kill someone and i still wouldnt care. love her! some people here in the comments should get jobs
Yall weird…
Blake did nothing wrong lol. People are so sensitive nowadays.
She named one of her drinks after the abuser in the film, she had her wedding on a plantation ,she was rude to that reporter and still hasn’t apologised.the list goes on
Talk yo shiit Dee!
Yt women a very scary lol
People act like blake lively was on epstein Island like Beyoncé and jay z. She says things you dont agree boo phucking hoo.
Beyonce?!!? what? what was your point?
She produced the movie and it’s very necessary she got people in the theaters. While her press circuit was slightly disingenuous , she wasn’t gonna tell people the movie was about DV knowing damn well most people don’t wanna watch that depressing/triggering stuff in theaters. She sold it as a romance movie to see with your girls and it worked out. Almost at $200 million already
👏🏽
i agree with Dee they Reaching heavy on this shit
how? esp, when there's SO MANY details missing.
