Devil, you should cut out some of the fly time, it really does drag on the video and I end up skipping like... half of it. You should save the "good video space" for interesting parts like drug runs and cop encounters. Just a minor suggestion dude. Great video though.
you use flap on take off and landing to lower the take off/landing speed. Which in turn help you stop/take off in a shorter distance. If you actually watch a plane take off, flaps are down. During a landing flaps is also down ( at a little higher angle ), spoilers are also being use during landing.
Yes and no. If the run way you are using is to short for an easy take off, apply one notch of flaps. The problem with this is is that it slows you down, increasing the chance of stalling, and also gives you a less than optimal angle of climb. I took a class on aviation in high school....
When you extend the flaps up during motion it puts downforce on the back, causing the front of the plane to lift up. Increase the speed from there and the plane begins to glide, the back tires floating off of the ground. Lower the flaps and the plane uses the speed alone to push forward, and once your height has reached enough extend the flaps down to even the plane out. If you have taken some kind of class it must've been for jet powered planes and not propeller planes.

i've never played it but for Takistan Life and Chernarus Life you simply start up Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead, click Multiplayer and then select Filter and enter 'Island life'. There are no downloads required to play this mod assuming you have Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead.

arma noob here, so how "big" is a big map in arma? looks fucking huge! in the plane, are the gauges functional? does it fly like a sim too ?

Flaps are set on 2 on every aircraft and remain set on 2 for several hundred feet . After 500ft the flaps are set on idle ( 0 )
