I loved seeing Sheena being transformed on this show - and will never forget her doing her EMI audition when she sang "Feelings" to a bunch of executives who admitted later they were only doing it for the sake of TV but were blown away by her performance!
Sadly, this seems to be all I have - it was left at the end of a tape which I recently watched. It was on one of those tapes which would have had repeated use!
How WRONG was Mike Hawkes?????? Bet he feels like a real knobhead now, and Kid Jenson really committed himself by sitting on the fence. Congratulations to the foresight of Simon Bates

An interesting look at a Super Star's early career. Thanks for posting this. Love that accent.
wow, when music was truly made and fought by people, not corporations.
Wow, her accent. Makes me knees go weak. :)
Yes, you're quite correct - I'd forgotten the name of the show. Thanks!
Thanks for uploading that was great.
Its amazing how articulate Bates and Co were, not like the twats on Radio 1 these days.
waow she beat Pete Townshend's Rough boys in the charts!

Thanks a lot for posting this, it's a long time since I saw it. Is there any chance of posting any of the rest of the program?
Thanks
Well done Esther

"Guid!That's greet!" Heheheh!
I want to see the bit with that jealous witch Lulu! :(
I was so shocked that Lulu and her manager were so bitchy!
You can find that scene with Lulu and her Manager in the TV documentary The Big Time. Look on You Tube!

Oh,god! I might've known "Cheggars" would have to get his face in somewhere!
