      100000000% but its a sign of the times, kids are so into social media it can take over your life. Looking for the next viral vid or pic, doing anything for 'the look' everything revolves around what they look like. Which is material in the end, you cant take a physique to the grave but you can take purpose and fulfillment with you to the very end.

    59:00 James, luck is the word we use as a placeholder for the incalculable variables that lead to an event which positively impacts a person. To say that someone was lucky in any sense is to say that: even if they themselves took action and did something that benefitted themselves, they only did so because certain things influenced them to do so. Those certain things are luck. People are always responsible for making decisions as a reaction to the things that influence them. so luck always has to be credited to some extent when a persons decision leads to success.

    • @marcellkovacs5452
      @marcellkovacs5452 3 роки тому

      Yeah, but where do you draw the line? Lately I've been thinking that luck is what situation you're born into. Everything else from that point onwards is shaped by your decisions, whether conscious or not. If you miss your plane that crashes after takeoff, yeah, it's lucky, but you missed your plane because of the actions that lead you to being late.

    • @jacobsherwood1655
      @jacobsherwood1655 3 роки тому

  • @dawsonbristow5083

    Soosh I been watching and supporting for over a year. This void, one that I find in almost everyone that I have deep convos with, are mostly from lack of a connection to God. I don’t know if you’re religious, but if you aren’t, I’d look into non denominational Christianity. Growing closer to God has helped my mental and happiness so much. Praying for your success bro, keep looking deep into yourself and your mind, it’s something most people don’t do.

    • @eddiemontes7823

      I’ve also been watching and supporting ever since the early tiktok days. I agree with Dawson. Finding your worth or value in all of these things of the world like materials, girls, or relationships is always going to leave you unfulfilled. All of those things will fade away. As My relationship with God has grown throughout the years, I’ve learned to turn to Him and find fulfillment in Him and I’ve never felt a peace quite like it. I also gots firm understand that God is our only forever in our lives. I don’t know where your faith is, but let me tell you about a love that’s always going to be available to you. God’s love is for everyone. Blessings, Love you Soosh

    Soosh, we your fans love you for you bro. Your authenticity is what we watch for, been like that since way back (even when I used to watch your protein bar challenges lmao)
    I feel your anxiety is coming from the fact that such an expensive car might cause you to have less freedom in the future. Ie if you meet a girl out of state or country and want to relocate or spend time with her the car might keep you from being able to be entirely free. At this age I’d love to have a lambo too, but if I had the money I personally would want to see more of the world first (maybe I travel to Sweden or like russia and get into a situationship, last thing I want is to be tied down by a expensive car and have to leave early).
    Sleep over it for a like a month, decide whether the purchase was right. Worst case take a 20-30k hit on depreciation and get something else.

    Honestly, James I don't think anyone would think you're a know-it-all. Tbh you hit spot on about trying to meet new ppl for a potential relationship like the other not being open and intimate quickly because fear of vulnerability and losing it after being attached. Love how you try to understand another person's thoughts/behavior instead of the "oh they're a b for playing hard to get".
    Edit: I believe that meeting the person is easier from work, school, friends of friends, etc because at first you usually focus on just knowing more the person as a friend without having expectations. Then you naturally start to mutually be into each other bc of the overlapping values and interests. It might be the same based off James and Hannah's history but it applies to mine. Dating apps or if both people are talking just to find a relationship seem pretty hard with all the expectations. And they know they can stop talking easily if they're not into it anymore. Love this podcast! I think discussions like these really help anyone to think deeply about it.

    Your eating becomes disordered if it causes you significant stress or bodily harm. For example, punishing yourself with cardio if you “over-eat”, not being able to eat comfortably without tracking calories, feeling anxious if you don’t know the calories/macros in your food, relying on food for pleasure and starving/binging to the point of malnourishment/obesity. Body building is a high-risk activity for eating disorders but participating in body building doesn’t mean you automatically have an ED.

    Couldn’t agree more with James about labeling certain habits as an “eating disorder”. Personally, I think tracking can turn into a disorder if it starts negatively impacting your day to day life and overall worsening your quality of life whether it he mentally, physically, socially, etc. However, if you’re tracking and it’s not leading to bad habits or isn’t having a worsening impact on you and your life, I don’t see tracking or counting cals/macros, weighing your food, etc as a disorder. Love the podcasts as always much love❤️💯

    congrats on the car Soosh. You're a trailblazer, i think that's where the uncertainty is coming from. I bought my dream car and house at 23 so I understand that awkward feeling of having accomplished most peoples life's dreams at at the beginning of adulthood

    Its a normal to feel anxious about spending a lot on a car, bro. I used to only spend $10K max on a car, and when I bought my first $30K car, I felt like I was doing something wrong because I had never spent that much on something. And I just bought a new $50K car w/ cash last week, and I had the same feeling again even though I have more than enough to buy it. Hope you enjoy the new ride!
