This explains how my Black family were so religious, yet not church people.

The host asked(at 5:13 mark)a question that was emailed to the program regarding the racial make-up of the individuals attending a"NEGRO LEAGUE"baseball game that AT FACE-VALUE is indicative of white racial stupidity/ignorance.However,what is INSULTING is the host making it easy to believe(by the tone and inflection in his voice and his "patronizing manner") that because whites may be in attendance at the game, that this shows co-mingling of races was acceptable in some instances.WHAT IS NOT POINTED OUT IS WHO HAD and CONTROLLED"FREEDOM OF CHOICE and ACCESSIBILITY.AT ANY BLACK GATHERING "NOTHING" PREVENTED WHITE PEOPLE FROM GOING and DOING ANYTHING THEY PLEASED and /or DESIRED!

@@kobil316SH they are saying that even in what was shown as "mixed" and "equal" gatherings it was not equal at all, because whites were still at position of power during those gatherings and could have done anything to black people.

African Americans endured so much oppression and degradation, African Americans should STRONGLY embrace their African heritage, since the US throughout US history has given African Americans such a raw deal.

Actually some people enjoyed being segregated, but it cost the society quite a bit, to have separate accommodations for Blacks and whites.

When we did integrate, it was probably one of the worse things, because since them all white people do is try to keep Black people at bay.

You’re not wrong Michael, unfortunately all of those years of oppression continue to have an impact on racial relations today. White Americans should learn from history and seek to do better, not turn a blind eye to your fellow human beings as you seem keen on doing.
