Myopia and hypermetropia are two common refractive eye conditions that affect a person's ability to see clearly at various distances. They are often referred to as nearsightedness and farsightedness, respectively.
Myopia (Nearsightedness):
Myopia is a refractive error in which a person can see objects clearly up close but has difficulty seeing distant objects clearly. It occurs when the eyeball is too long or the cornea (the clear front surface of the eye) is too steeply curved, causing light entering the eye to focus in front of the retina instead of directly on it.
As a result, distant objects appear blurry while close objects can be seen clearly. Myopia can develop during childhood and often progresses over time, especially in teenagers. It is commonly corrected with eyeglasses or contact lenses that have a concave (minus) lens prescription to help shift the focus of light back onto the retina.
Hypermetropia (Farsightedness):
Hypermetropia is a refractive error in which a person can see distant objects more clearly than nearby objects. It occurs when the eyeball is too short or the cornea is too flat, causing light to focus behind the retina instead of directly on it.
People with hypermetropia may experience blurred vision when looking at things up close, and they may have difficulty with tasks like reading or using a computer without correction. Hypermetropia can affect individuals of all ages and may be more noticeable as they age due to changes in the eye's lens elasticity. It is usually corrected with eyeglasses or contact lenses that have a convex (plus) lens prescription to bring the focal point of light forward onto the retina.
Both myopia and hypermetropia are common vision problems and can often be easily corrected with the appropriate eyeglasses or contact lenses.

I want tye kit😊😊
It's known as presbyopia, also called old age hypermetropia (as this defect is commonly observed in elders) and it can be corrected by wearing bi-focal lens.Thank You Sir
Thanks a lot by commenting..It's too useful to my tmrw's seminar❤
Presbyopia occur due to loss of accomodations ability of lens with age
The condition where both myopia and hypermetropia are present is called anisometropia. In presbyopia, near by objects cant be seen due weakening of ciliary muscles and diminishing flexibility of the eye lens.
If a person have both Myopia and Hypermetropia means they can't able to see nearby and far away object... It is known as Presbyopia... It can be corrected with Bifocal lens ❤
Presbyopia
bi focal lens is used to correct both myopia and hypermetropia. the upper part of bifocal lens is concave lens and lower part is convex lens
You are the best teacher in the world.
In teacher I found a diamond. Yes it's you. ❤❤
Wow thanks a lot!!
Legends have exam on monday 😂😂😂
S broo 😂😂😂
Fr bro but that was 6 months ago
Such type of defect is called presbyopia and its corrected by Bifocal lenses..

Hello Sir,
Biconcave and Biconvex lenses r used 4 both defect visions hypermetropia and myopia..thnx.. Respected sir u r videos r suchly too amazing and incredible pls continue uploading like this Videos on other topics also like heart etc and Reproduction etc ..❤😊😊
Sir I luv the way how u teach the concept too clear...Thanks a lot..we need more from u❤😊
Positive and negative states of the normal dynamic eye.
Depends on your perspective - that might be a mistaken assumption.
Presbyopia is a defect in which a person are not able to see far object clearly as well near object . They appears to come blurred. This defect can be corrected by usin bifocal lens.
Best Explanation ❤🎉
Thank you
You're welcome 😊
Presbiopia can be corrected by using bi focal lens or concavo convex lens
I have exams this morning you just saved a soul baby😍😍greetings from Nigeria
Hi there
I'm xavier nice 2 meet you.
I'm from 🇰🇪 😊😊
Both concave and convex we use for a person having myopia and hypermetropia
To correct presbyopia we have to use both concave and convex upper part concave lower part convex
i love your videos so much i am passing my boards because of you!!! youre the best teacher!!!!!
Thanks a ton!!
Bi-Focal lens used 9:03
Bi focal lens are used for correction of both myopia and hypermetropia
Sir please make a video about power of accomodation I have a lot of confusion
Hello sir
Your teaching is really good
I loved all your videos
Bifocal lens is used for person having both myopia and hypermetropia ( presbyopia)
Thank you so much, this is going to help me for my exam
The condition is called is presbyopia usually seen in old people and they suggested to use bifocal lens

Great explanation.. understood accurately
Great and easy explanation sir , thanku for this it would obviously help in eaxms .
Convex and concave lens is used for presbiopia.
Wow very clear explanation sir ❤
Wow..🙌🙌
Amazing video🤩🤩
Please make more practical videos such as this one
Hii sir ur teaching is class ❤
Thanks a lot
A nice presentation.
But normal eyes are not box cameras - that you must assume they are!
WOW!! Such An Amazing VIDEO!!!
Thank you Sriritwik!! :)
I am one of them, who has both hypermetropia and myopia 😅
Bifocal lenses are used..
In my childhood I had hypermetropia and then I had myopia, and now I have both 🙃
But, thans a ton sir!! For clearing my doubts about this topics.. Very useful video ❤
Keep it up Manocha Academy!! 😊😊
Thank you sir explanations are super clear👍👍👍🎉
Thank you sir for all your physics tutorials, they have really changed my grades

Epic Video. Awesome way to visualize. Would have helped me too!!
Glad you liked it! Thanks Rohit!
Sir you are God level teacher
Like concave lens form a virtual image of object at distance ..Do convex lens also form virtual image at the near point of eye
??
no..convex lens form virtual image only when object is between focus and pole. It is impossible for this case to occur in case of eye lens.
Sir you are a best teacher in the world sir where are you from a diamond teacher
Sir am requesting for a video on detailed reactions of hydrocarbons.thznkyou
Presbyopia both the concave and convex lens are been used
Wonderful
Fantastic expalnation !
Both concave and convex lens is prescribed by doctor
You are my favourite teacher🙋
Thanks
It can be corrected by wearing focal lens glasses
I understand 🙏🙏 thanks sir
U are best teacher Thank you so much sir 🙏🙏
Bifocal lens is used to fix both myopia and hypermetropia
Concave lens is used in both conditions
❣️Ask them : 'Who is it that delivers you from dangers in the deep darknesses of the land and the sea, and to whom do you call in humility and in the secrecy of your hearts? To whom do you pray: "If He will but save us from this distress, we shall most certainly be among the thankful?" (6:64) Say: "It is Allah alone Who delivers you from this and from every distress, and yet you associate others with Allah in His divinity."
To use both lenses concave and convex
Sir You are an absolute legend .
You are my favourite sir
Thanks
You are favourite teacher
It is corrected by bi focal lens
If a preson is suffering from both myopia and hypermetropia, so he should use bifocal lens.
Super! Correct answer!!
That's called presbiopia bte
*byopia
Understood Easily. Thank you Sir
Bifocal lenses in used for both myopia and hypermetropia
Sir does the both lenses form image at the far point (myopic eye) and near point(hypermetropoc eye) which acts like object for the eye lens it forms image on retina ?🤔 Pls solve the query 🙏
6:00 sir why you place concave lens between light rays and convex lens 😢
5:32 sir explained why he did so
For a parson having myopia and hypermetropia, they have to wear spectacle with progressive lens
presbyopia , it can be correct by using bifocal lens
Good of you sir more grease to you elbow

Bifocal lens is use to fix both myopia and hypermetropia sir
Thanks for informative lesson,
Sir apload biology classes also sir please 🥺🥺
Both concave and convex lenses
Thank you sir
Thanks a lot sir
Presbyopia, this defect we see in elders why because this defect comes as age .for this defect we use bi focal length lens

Excellent sir🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
We use concavo convex lens is it right answer sir
bifocal glasses are used for correction of presbiopia
Can u teach based on radioactivity sir
Genius teacher
Sir I am a student of class 9, and I am facing a lot of difficulty in understanding and solving problems on circles. Can you please make a video on corcpes for class 9
Biconcave lens and biconvex lens
Hii sir, why u kept biconcave lens front of the parallel rays in hypermetropia 6:48
But, why not u kept the biconcave lens before the parallel rays at the time of myopia 3:01
Please answer my question sir
Sir mentioned it already.... The near by object give divergent rays but distant object gives parallel rays thus in hypermetropia he uses a concave lens to show the diverging rays of the near object but in myopia he says rays of distant object (parallel).... This is the part where he mentions so 5:32
Hope it helps ❤
Can you please makes videos of class 11th and 12th
We have uploaded few videos of Class 11 already. We will be uploading more videos of Class 11 and 12. Stay tuned :)

Dr I was told by an eye specialist that I have a lazyeye(right eye) and can not be fixed...is it true?
There is no normal eye.
You are either myopia, of Hyperopia.
Can you explain and teach us about program in c&c++
We want thos class fastly and quickly😊😢
If both visions are blurry it is called presbyopia they should use bi focal lens
Hii sir, answer is bifocal lens
Super! Right answer!
I have a doubt what happened in the case when people cannot see faraway object and nearby object
Sould I wear specs while reading and using mobile? I have myopia i can read book very clearly when it's near me. I can't see only far things.
Super sir
Thank you!
Bifocal or Progressive Lens is used
Sir , I also have mayopia , is this a very serious disease
