My friend, who is ill, was just shown your video and regaled us with her memories of Staten Island from many years ago. Although she lived there for less than a year, she speaks with fondness of the unique and historical qualities of the place, and the people she met there. Your visit to the Conference House for our Nation’s celebration was a wonderful selection…Needless to say; we thank you for sharing this jaunt with us.
Wow! So happy to hear this! I am so glad these video's are appreciated. It's hard work and I'm happy to bring joy to people's lives. Thanks for the feedback.
378 years old, still standing and still beautiful. I wonder if the cookie cutter crap they are building downtown will still be around 300 years from now haha... Great video Antonio, Happy 4th
I see your point. But at least Staten Island is busy and not a half empty ghost town like major cities in the Midwest and south. Memphis is surprisingly pretty empty. So it’s good to see Staten Island filled to a good occupancy
True and sad for the home of the Blues... it was my pre coffee tongue in cheek way of saying that it's always nice to see old techniques and materials still lasting to this day... and also mostly writing a comment to help the new channel with the algorithm ;P
@@halasterthethrice-fried3610 there’s an old interesting Staten Island documentary on UA-cam from around 1964. I like watching it repeatedly from time to time.
