Releasing single bottles is critical. The 80 bottle set is fantastic value and I would buy it this instant if single bottles were available to replace colours that get used up. The sets, like most sets, not just ICM, have the annoying feature of including filler paints like white, black, silver, varnish etc. that you already have. Practically every set includes a varnish - buy a few sets for different topics and you will be overflowing with varnish. But they do look very nice, like you I do like pots, I do prefer droppers but agree that they do clog too often and can be a bitch to stir properly.
So glad to hear that about the ICM paints, I have been waiting on someone to do a review of this paint. I have been thinking of getting a set of them, but I just didn't want to spend over a hundred bucks for the set and not knowing anything about them. Now I have made my mind up, after hearing your review, thanks so much! 👍👍🤘🤙✌️
I’m using their German ww2 set and I’m now desperate to get my hands on this set. I’ve never been able to get a smooth finish on my paints. Ie I leave brush strokes in the paint, not with this set. I love them
Nice review Jason. These are "interesting" for certain. I'm wondering what the process of getting them on "this side of the pond" might be. I'll check it out...and report back if I learn anything. I have an ICM Do-17z in my stash...these might fit that need well.
Hey Jason - a brilliant series of videos on ICM paints, I wonder what cost an individual pot would retail at? The set I believe worked out to be 78p. Cheers Liam
The bottles are too small, you'd be lucky to paint two 1/35 armour models from one bottle and then what do you do, buy another set of paints when you only need one colour? The availability of single colours is the biggest drawback for me.

You're welcome Doug. I recon their yellow is a good match for that coca-cola vehicle you just added to the stash!

I imagine your ICM kit stockists would have them
I find that popping a 6mm stainless steel nut in the bottle makes mixing a doddle.

2ml more than a Tamiya bottle, but agree they need to sell them separately
Finding the single bottles will be critical. Thanks!
