I never realized how sad that last one was. The two little T-Rexes just hopelessly scrambling around their mother’s corpse before nature takes them all out altogether. Looking back as an adult this show also put so much into the story outside all of the usual dino expositions, makes you appreciate this even more than before.
I realize how there seems to be * a mix * of animatonics and CGI ... '_' when they say that 'CGI is getting worse', it's neat to know how still looking like 'late 90's' CGI means it can look this.
No You idiot, it was recorded by earthworm Jim’s ancestors that came to this planet and then accidentally ate the tape and shit it onto BBC headquarters
What's both amazing and sad about this program is that they managed to find locations that replicate the mesozoic landscape with any degree of accuracy. The absence of grass and flowering plants means that only a few very unique locations on earth were good enough. It's amazing they found them, but what makes it sad is there probably aren't enough other suitable locations for a sequel that uses real filming locations instead of cgi.
@@_MaZTeR_ prehistoric planet does use some shots of modern landscapes but many of those are overhead shots of oceans, deserts, forest canopies, or mountains.
