correct me if i'm wrong here, but you are comparing ONE 4080S vs a whole rig of 12 bc250? the cheapness of this rig is very compelling but it's at a different level of how ppl will deploy these machines vs one card.
I am comparing 12 to 1 because the cost is about the same (actually a little less for the bc250s and I understand its not a 1 to 1 comparison in terms of how you deploy them and the cost to run them, the initial capital investment (which is very important imo) is very similar.
@@kr00tmanmining just wouldn't be good in Europe with 40cent electricity. No denying its a bargain in terms of building up bags quickly 7usd a day per rig is not to be sniffed at!
Good video fam. Dual Mining IRON and WART my rig is pulling 2500w easy via my meter!
How are your profitably numbers doing that?
Thanks, boss. I dont think you can upgrade PSUs (seller wasnt sure), but someone can take out 1 or 2 blades if running at max power per blade.
Maybe you could find larger versions of the brand? I'm not sure
You could also just rig up your own control board...in the server case it just needs 8 pins to power each one
Just placed a bulk order for the 250s. I made sure to check the KrOOtman box at check out
awesome!!! How many did you end up getting?

You get more core power on the 4080s. on the bc250s you get more memory power and cpu mining.
Not so good for home mining really - but very good if you have a warehouse and cheap electricity.
Why do you say that?

I'm going to guess... no
The numbers might surprise you
With a fan mod my bc250s only pull about 1700-1800 watts on warthog.
You can replace the stock fans with artic 10k rpm fans to cut down on the noise and power. And you won’t have to drill out the front plate
@@Ziegminer even better, I just wanted to be on the safe side when helping people figure out if they want to buy these or not.
@@Ziegminer link to those?
It's a spec play for sure, might not be worth it.
For sure, but the risk is the cost of a single GPU, and that's my counter and why I was ok buying one
