- Beautiful scenes of tranquility on a misty Autumn morning. Drift with me above the silk mist, watch the golden sun rise and the crystal sparkle of the spiders webs.
The Journey started here... I once lived in the fast lane of life, happily married of 26 years, with two children. That chapter was suddenly shattered by the sudden loss of my wife to cancer, which led me in to depression and homelessness. Waking up in hospital, after attempting to take my own life, with just a suitcase, kayak and bicycle and no money, I've managed to rise up out of the darkness and find happiness and continue my next chapter.
I'm a self taught film maker, and creating these vlogs, it gives me something to do, share my personal experiences as I continue my journey cruising and living life on the canal. Please do consider supporting my channel below... Thank you Dave

A perfect meditation vlog. The world was too much with me this morning and I shut it all out with your stunning blend of mist, morning sun and gentle music. Thank you for this. You have an artist's eye for the for the world around you and only a narrowboat owner could capture this sense of tranquility. I've bookmarked this one and will return time and time again I'm sure. I'm a long retired graphic artist and writer and I alway remember my British art teacher from my first day at the old Luton School.of Arts (now Barnfield College) who told me: "John, it's my job to teach you how to SEE. Most people go through life LOOKING but not seeing." You have that sense of seeing: the spider's web, the reflective light in shadows, the backlit towpath and much much more. Thank you for SEEING and sharing it with us.
