A few things my darlings. Targaryens aren’t fire proof. That’s a Daenerys thing not a Targaryen thing. Also Vhagar is the oldest and biggest dragon. Meleys is big but she isn’t as big as or powerful as Vhagar.
They even show the size comparisons really well in the episode

Targaryens are not fireproof. Dany was the only one because of blood magic. That is diffrent in the books tho were it is a one time thing for her
Dany is fireproof of normal fire, Aegon received fire able to melt the rocks of even harrenhal of the second strongest and biggest dragon of Targaryen history and he will survive, that is being real fireproof. Aemond is a traitor, burned Aegon when he had the chance.
Targs are not fireproof. And Aegon took a full blast from Vhagar. Her fire can melt steel and stone.

Rhaenyra will never be Queen in the eyes of the Greens because their whole argument is women shouldn't be monarchs.
