The best way to understand the void and the old gods who can see all possibilities is to imagine them like librarians. Librarians who oversee and have access to an infinite library of knowledge. They have a quandary about something, they can quickly find a "book" that tells them everything they can possibly know about it. Champions appearing in the time of the Black Empire likely caught the Old God's attention which in turn triggered their knowledge of the champions along with their history and possibilities. Which means that they may be far more prepared than what we once thought thanks to our bungling through time. It also raises.......another interesting thought. If all it takes for the Old Gods to know everything about something is to notice and be curious about it, what would happen if a particular topic was kept hidden, even from them?
I doubt they'll do something with it. I find the possibilities awesome though. Through this interaction, N'zoth might have had enough knowlegde to predict the events of BFA. It's one of the possibilies he saw and confirmed it through this little interaction of us stumbling into the Black Empire.

Im calling that at the ends of this next raid "The dark waters will flow in his wake" means some sort of void lord will get revealed and lead us into the next expansion.
I only realized recently the first line is a straight rip from Halo 3 Trailer. N'zoth: "I know you. What you were. What you will yet become." Cortana: "I know you, your past, your future."
I'd not be surprised with the World Soul saga culminated with N'zoth taking over Azeroth's Soul after the longest plan in existence and is the final enemy.
"They will drink, and be uplifted" I believe this is referring to Fyrakk consuming the shadowflame "You will follow him to the deep places, the dark waters will flow in his wake." This may also refer to Shadowflame Fyrakk
People say that Blizzard isn't capable of crafting a compelling narrative, however I believe that they wouldn't go the extra length to add NEW dialogue for N'zoth 2 expansions later for this to turn out to be nothing. In Legion and BfA these "foreshadowing" whispers were extremely popular and generated all the talk in the lore community. It's clearly foreshadowing and might not be what we expect most of the time. Every expansion is at least "drafted" in some concept years before its time to be revealed, so I believe these will have SOME relevance eventually.
The quote around 0:54 will be Wrathion leading us to the Old Gods, I would bet money on it. Remember, in the Vision of Nya'lotha, the first boss we fight is a Void corrupted Wrathion. Wrathion, like Neltharion, WILL fall; it is inevitable, like Nozdormu becoming Murozond.

I only realized recently the first line is a straight rip from Halo 3 Trailer.
N'zoth: "I know you. What you were. What you will yet become."
Cortana: "I know you, your past, your future."
I'd not be surprised with the World Soul saga culminated with N'zoth taking over Azeroth's Soul after the longest plan in existence and is the final enemy.
"They will drink, and be uplifted"
I believe this is referring to Fyrakk consuming the shadowflame
"You will follow him to the deep places, the dark waters will flow in his wake."
This may also refer to Shadowflame Fyrakk
It is. But the "Deep places" refer to Iridikron.
@@LarryMerice or just Zaralek Cavern
People say that Blizzard isn't capable of crafting a compelling narrative, however I believe that they wouldn't go the extra length to add NEW dialogue for N'zoth 2 expansions later for this to turn out to be nothing. In Legion and BfA these "foreshadowing" whispers were extremely popular and generated all the talk in the lore community. It's clearly foreshadowing and might not be what we expect most of the time. Every expansion is at least "drafted" in some concept years before its time to be revealed, so I believe these will have SOME relevance eventually.
All of his whispers are relevant. They either already happened or for things to unfold.
The quote around 0:54 will be Wrathion leading us to the Old Gods, I would bet money on it. Remember, in the Vision of Nya'lotha, the first boss we fight is a Void corrupted Wrathion. Wrathion, like Neltharion, WILL fall; it is inevitable, like Nozdormu becoming Murozond.
i hope not, that would be kinda lame
Or maybe we are chasing Iridukron the earth primalist aspect.
@@beerexpert1057 i think this way too if an aspect of earth was feeling the embrace of the old gods in the deep places i wonder how these dragons without extra titan juice to keep them as sane would be especially the earth one
It has a better chance of being malfurion than wrathion. Remember the “eyes of green” whispers
@@tank_dempsey That's a completely different whisper. They always reference different things. Whispers are always about individual things.
Bruh nzoth spoiling whole dragonflight
So like now that we have the last TWW zone in Alpha, it's Elun'ahir what's left of it the very first World Tree, it's roots quite literally growing into Old God Blood and being twisted by it hence "welcoming our embrace". That's what N'Zoth is talking about here.
The her is ether the Nerubian Queen or Xal'tath herself.
1:06 Worldsoul-Saga will be fun!
looking back at this, he’s def talking about the war within plot. idk who the “him” he refers to is though…
With the announcement that 11.1 takes us to The Undermine, I have to wonder if it's Gallywix...
So, I was doing my borderline monthly re-listen of what Il'gynoth had to say in the emerald nightmare raid, and he says..
"A presence.. something new, yet familiar... yes......"
He knew we were going to go back in time and N'zoth would see us.
Nah that was Wrathion's new appearance model.
We totally planted the new World Tree ontop of some Old God influence didn't we?
It's in the Dream, but perhaps the Nightmare will take hold.
@@felmaster3534Those Hippie Elves did.......The same TREE FYRAKK IS AFTER!!! REMEMBER HE ALSO HEARS THE WHISPERS........"Just.....LET......ME.......IN!!!"
Theory: the infinite dragonfllight or the bronze dragonfllight send us back in time to go and stop the current timeline happening in the first place or to.make it happen, where we find the Naga following a different master than we thought.
thats making alot more since after the war within campaign...
They're gonna piggyback through the Emerald Dream (via the rift of Aln), Aberus, Nozdorumu, the life waters, and the soul of Azeroth herself.
The soul of Azeroth was always the prize and what N'Zoth is REALLY AFTER.......He seeks it to become like the Dark Titan. A similar thing has happened in the past but Sargeras destroyed the planet to prevent the completion.......It is the very thing that caused him to go against the order......

Next patch will be underground. Combine that with dragonriding and you have yourself need for speed: underground 3 finally.
N'zoth may be the weakest of all the Old Gods, but he in reality he is smartest of ALL Old Gods.
We will see his vision come true.
N'zoth talking about Wrathion OR TYR.. and talking about '' her '' (Tyrande/Y'sera/) - someone's '' dream '' maybe about new World Tree, planted within a Emerald Dream.
Her could also mean Azeroth.
@@fidalf99 NO...its the Tree in the Emerald Dream that The "False Queen" planted......
The Hour of the twilight is yet to come, the void lords are going act it's just a question of when are going to do it.
And even they will howl for the Naaru and their masters when the Devourers and their master comes from the In-Between and the Shadowlands to feed on the material plane.
@@eternallegacy89 Their "Master" is of the VOID.....
Spoiler alert: this voiceline is referencing the pirate we will meet and go to the other side of Azeroth with. The Black Empire still stands. It has stood always. On the otherside of our perception. They were not beaten ever. Only cordoned. Hidden on the biggest continent of Azeroth. Hidden in the same gloom that has shrouded the Isles. Hidden by the Titans who could not admit to themselves that they lacked the power to contain the void. I know this because HE knows me. I’m so sorry I’m so sorry i’m so sorry I know you I know you sorry I’m know you I am sorry I know you I know I know I know I know I know I know I know you.

@@HyenaHorror Thanks a lot!
Old God Az'eroth
i wanna join them
Darin De Paul voiced the lich king in Warcraft 3. Or at least sounds like him.
The old gods are malignant beings that exist out of time. Time does not exist to them nor are they affected by it.
Was Yogg Saron in this segment? None of the voices sounded like him
Yes, Yogg Saron was present, as were C'thun and Y'Shraaj. All their lines are repeated from previous instances while N'zoth has new dialog.
Maddening presence was Yogg
The old gods are parts of Azeroth’s consciousness
Yep. That last line kinda seals that for me as well. Very lovecraftian and I am all for it!
0:54 I FREAKING CALLED IT!!! IRIDIKRON IS WORKING WITH QUEEN AZSHARA!!!!! THAT WAS HER SHADOW IN THE VOID IN DAWN!!!!
With many eyes they will see again.
Old gods Comeback? 🤔😅
Is he talking bout Aszhara?
I strongly doubt it.
Azeroth is the only logical answer
I mean since all of the old gods are based on Lovecraftian lore like C'thun could be Cuthulu. Yogg'Saron is Yoggsetesh I believe it has been a bit. Azeroth could very easily be Azatoth which in Lovecraft our reality is just the dream he/she is having once they wake up all reality ends.
@@soulillusion85 They're inspired by Lovecraft but not direct parallels. Azeroth was originally conceived as the land and kingdom we now know as Stormwind.
YES! YES! YES!
im calling its xaleteth maybe finally bringing them all back or worse 0.0
would you have this in Portuguese language?
Who is he referring to when saying "her dreams" ?
Azeroth, I would assume.
Azeroth.
It could be even Ysera or Azeroth. Ysera because she could be still corrupted like fake image of here right now or split personality. It makes sense if you ad to it after her 3 death she usher in our coming
@@zdendarehor4823 Azeroth is the dreaming titan, the final titan and it is from their song she dreams. If it's not Azeroth then they have a lot of explaining to do.
@@zdendarehor4823 I don't think so since shes only died once and dieing again would only be the 2nd one. But Ysera still worries me due to the "Beware the eye of Green" Old Gods quotes when we learned about the Void Flower in the Emerald Dream. That now has a World Tree Seed in it FUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK
Well sadly the Void all ready to Ruin the new World Tree.
1. "I... know you. What you were. What you will yet be.": Pretty obvious imo, N'Zoth forsees the future with the player character
2. "Deeper, deeper its roots will reach. Welcoming our embrace.": N'Zoth forsees the World Tree in Grizzly Hills being corrupted by Yogg-Saron, allowing for himself and the other Old Gods to corrupt the Emerald Dream, creating the Emerald Nightmare.
3. "With many eyes, they will see again.": I honestly have no idea, anyone else know?
4. "They will drink, and be uplifted.": N'Zoth forsees the Orcs drinking the blood of Mannoroth
5. "You will follow him to the deep places.": Not sure about this one either
6. "The dark waters will flow in his wake.": Unsure
7. "Her dreams sing beneath the surface. Our dreams. Our Song.": I believe that N'Zoth is referring to the Titan soul within Azeroth and the Old Gods' attempt to corrupt it.
Addon Idea: Azeroth has been corrupted by the old gods and ressurects all of them, boom Black Empire addon
