Ah, yes. The Ultimate T2 DVD with the custom THX T2 trailer that would later be known as Cavalcade one year later. I bet this was definitely a time where you had to get a DVD player back in the day. If I’m being honest, I kind of wish I had this version of the film instead of the Skynet edition Blu-ray release. That being said, the latter version does have audio description, so why complain?
@@CJBStudios Honestly mixing and matching for releases Is a thing that I've dealt with a lot. Especially for a bunch of the niche films I've bought, when they get released on BD they tend to be bare-bones, so eh. Getting the film in HD (on BD or even 4k) and bonuses in SD (on DVD, or even LD in some cases) is just a fact of life when it comes to these kinds of things.
@@homevideogallery You do have a good point there. My guess is why some stuff won’t be included on any future releases is probably because of how much file size a DVD or Blu-ray desk might have. That is, unless they even want to include stuff on them for archival purposes. Take for example, the Blu-ray release of _THX 1138_ . With the exception that it wasn’t THX certified like the DVD version, it includes everything from that release as far as I know.
THX, DTS, and Dolby together? That truly is the ultimate edition!

Honestly this transfer is not great compared to the Skynet Edition, though to be honest I wish the Skynet release had a higher bitrate.
I actually wish they included some stuff from some of the other releases such as the sound design feature from the Ultimate DVD.
