- The Major Pack 1137 was one of the most detailed models in Corgi history. The Express Service semi-trailer was pulled by a Ford H-type truck, in which it was possible to lift the cabin and see a very precisely reproduced engine. The cabin also included steps leading to the roof. Moreover, the trailer was detachable and had its own parking wheels. My model was kept in good shape. During the renovation, I refreshed the body by painting it again. I made the missing parts such as the mirror and the trumpets on the roof. I also created a very impressive box with a display inside. The wonderful "Two Storey Falcon". I still have mine from childhood - much loved and treasured. I am particularly impressed at how you repaired the chrome finish to the trailer doors and the remanufactured mirrors and air horns is superb. Intrigued to see you left out the central windscreen division. A really beautiful restoration that brings back so many memories.

Maestro! I love your choice of model to restore. A Ford H. The cast suspension looks cool with all those leaf-springs. Your Rubix Cube skills made the key removal for dis-assembly tasty. Then you have TWO models!! I watch your flea market expeditions, and I am always surprised which things you buy. The water from it's caustic soda bath was the worst I have seen from you. Oh wow! I had this Corgi truck and in fact still have it upstairs in my loft. Mine is in slightly worse condition than that one with missing sliding doors and rear doors to the trailer. I have thought about trying to restore it though and this video will show me how. I also have the Corgi Major car transporter which features here too. The original tractor colour is red though. The rear transporter trailer is fantastic. Thanks for the video. Takes me back to 1976!

Had that model lovely those corgis it looks so much smaller than I remember loved the sliding doors and "real" mirrors. Had a Bedford Simon Snorkel great detail . and a Blue Bedford vehicle transporter think the trailer wheels came off to allow the ramps to go down. A beige VW repair van with hook plastics were not too good on that.

Have a question? I have the original Tonka gated horse truck and white horse trailer. At some point a million years ago, my father went model paint crazy, in his behalf he did fabricate many vehicles out of scrap toys and things with wooden bases for us. The problem was he painted my Tonka truck canary Yellow! The stickers are pristine, is there a way for me to remove this model paint without damaging the original paint below. kind of a tan color?
you can try the following. Carson Model sports has made a paint remover specifically made for Polystyrene and Lexan bodies. I have tried it on an old SIKU plastics model slobbered in modelers paint, and it left the plastic alone. you could try to remove the paints with it layer by layer (the paint is softened so you can scrape it off with a soft spatula). parts numer is C908113. Revell seems to have a similar paint remover, 500908113. maybe even the same product in a different bottle? hm.
