I've used a lot of their crash protection in the past, but I'm excited to have their luggage now. Thanks for watching!

When I bought mine I wanted a grab rail on the back so I don’t break the mudguard when manoeuvring the bike around, but i also wanted a side pannier bag,
So ordered it with them factory fitted.
The trouble is that the combined pannier rack and grab rail are not compatible with the original seat, so I also had to order a new seat [the same one you showed on the screen]
I found this new seat slightly uncomfortable so refitted the original so had get around the incompatibility issue.
It turns out that the only issue is a small plastic flange in between the plastic turrets in the plastic panel under the pillion seat that the bolts go through to hold it down.
I used a dremmel to remove about 10mm of the plastic flange and every thing fits fine. [no structural strength issues]
So for me paying for the other seat to be factory fitted was a complete waste of money.

Nice looking bag! Have you looked at the Triumph rugged pannier bag? Supposedly that one is up to 25 L of storage, which would be nice. From pics it looks like it's got a molle system on the sides to attach more items.
Love seeing different storage options. Still looking at buying one of these Scrambler 900s myself in the next year or so, so I appreciate being able to watch you try different things with yours to figure out what's going to work for me when the time comes

I considered that bag. It honestly seemed too big. If I were to properly pack it out, it would be a lot of weight only to one side. This and a tail bag seems like better weight distribution. Thanks for watching all of these!

That’s the one I have, it has a quick release latch so I only fit it when I carry, works fine and looks great.
The same as with any pannier you need to remember it is fitted, last month I came home through my side gate and forgot I had it on and it hit the gate post 😂
I was crawling along at walking pace to go through the gate and couldn’t understand why the bike stopped and wouldn’t move forwards 🤦‍♂️

Do you happen to have both part numbers? I like this setup.

Don't have them on hand, but if you go to the SW-Motech US site and input the bike model they are both pretty early in the results. Tank bag only comes in one size I believe and the Saddle bag is the larger of the 2 options listed. Thanks for watching!

Will the rear rack work with the pannier rack since they both up in same place under the seat?
I don't think 🤔 they'll both bolt on to same point.I have a grab rail on mine & probably have to remove grab rail to mount pannier rack maybe?

I wonder if the Viking Bags will attach to the SW Motech rack cause it looks the same & the Vicking bags come in a nice Aluminum leather combo 10L bag & a ginormous 28L bag which is nice but to big & looks like a Harley's saddle bags but needed to be about 18L to suit Speedtwin.
Viking also does a nice 10L bag & there is a 2 of models of 10L bags to choose from & 3-4 bags for 28L bag.

Pannier rail won't work with grab rail on 22-24 models. If you Scrambler is a 16-21 model you can use the rear rack that has 2 bolt holes for sissy bar that is used on the T100-120 models. The 2 bolt holes for sissy bar is where they bolt the SW Motech pannier rail to so you can have both a rear grab rail or rear rack with same bolt holes on it to bolt the SW Motech panniers to.
On 2022-24 models like I got the bolt holes under seat where you bolt pannier rail or grab rail are a smaller hole size making the 2016-22 T100-120 Grab rail with larger bolt holes & 2 extra bolt holes on grab rail for sissy bar or SW Motech pannier not fit 2022-24 models unfortunately.
It sucks cause those earlier models grab rail have the extra 2 bolt holes on grab rail to mount sissy bar or the SW Motech pannier rail & newer models it's either one or the other.I really want the SW Motech panniers but I also use Kriega tail bags & the rear loops that go round subframe are precarious & their isn't anything from them sliding off backwards although be difficult for that to happen the bag doesn't fit as stable as it should.I ended up mounting the rear loops around the grab rail I have on bike & loops sit further back & bag fits better & steaps are more symmetrical & not on angles which bag can slide forward. If I had a 2022-24 T100-120 they have the grab rail available with sissy bar that bolts to those extra 2 bolt holes that the SW Motech pannier can bolt to that's why you see Bonneville's with both grab rail & SW Motech SLC panniers. It pisses me off that no one has made Grab rail the same to fit on the 2022-16 Speedtwin or Scrambler it would solve this issue of one or the other & forces you to use throw overs or another pannier system that mounts to front of shock & rear pillion peg & looks ugly & sticks out to far.

I like my grab rail & don't want to give it up so looking at the SW Motech LS 1 throw overs the same bag as the SLC bag but without the mounting plate. That way I can use throw over pannier along with the Kriega US tail bag & be able to carry alot of gear for moto camping.I did consider buying the Bonneville grab rail & taking it to engineer & getting the holes made smaller & getting them to make it fit that way I can have both grab rail & holes to mount SW Motech pannier on grab rail.I just don't know why they don't make the Bonnie & the Speedtwin 900,Scrambler 900 grab rail with extra bolt holes the same would of saved me hours of research & I can have both & really gets on my wick espwhen see 👀 Bonnie with both.
I did think 🤔 about that the Kriega bag rear loops could attach to SW Motech pannier but the loops need to be mounted parrallel to work properly & if mounted on pannier the loops will be mounted vertically so can't win.
They look very similar but the holes & bolts 🔩 used are different sizes between models.Speedtwin 1200 is different from the 900 & uses different pannier from Bonnie 900-1200.Such a easy solution to fix too.
