If I start wearing my lapis ring, will I develop certain strengths? Not being doubtful, but Im trying to understand how we know the stone has these effects?
Great question and thank you! In terms of the energetic properties of stones, it’s science and energy; it’s a lot to type in the comments, but - everything vibrates at a frequency (including us). Crystals from the planet hold a wisdom and intelligence just as fruit, vegetables, herbs, water, flowers, etc. That said, if you need the medicine from a particular stone, your physical, emotional, or spiritual body will begin to resonate with its frequency when you bring it into your field (the human body is always seeking resonance with wellness, because its #1 job is to do what’s necessary to survive). Not every crystal resonates with everyone (for example if you don’t need its medicine, OR you actually are in need of something different), AND the same crystal type can resonate differently based on where and how it’s sourced (energies for various parts of the planet can differ) - for example an amethyst from Brazil versus one from Africa.
The very best thing you can do to verify this for yourself, is use your intuition and allow your instincts to guide you as to what need…FEEL into it. Try various stones if you want - maybe 1 at a time for like 2 weeks, and journal your findings.

Okay so how do I tell the difference between lapis lizuli & sodalite!
They are the same stone, except lapis has pyrite in it. So, you should see golden flecks or streaks running through it.
I don't believe in crystals but this is beautiful !!
