  • For some of us that remember seeing this when we were kids. This train was made by Bob Wandschneider many years ago. All the locomotives that you see were all bought from Aristo-craft brand new specifically for this build. Train was featured in garden railroad magazine.

    The one that hurts to see there the most is the Spectrum Mogul 😭

    Oh no! Not a Baltimore & Ohio locomotive! So sad! Very professional detail and weathering! Very sad way to go to the scrap yard! :(

    Hi Dave, fantastic train, retired steam locomotives and pulled by a great nose diesel locomotive. Wonderful video. Thank you for showing it to me. Best regards, Wolfgang

    That's a rather cool way to use broken locos instead of throwing them away

      No, you didn't read the description. The train was made over 20 years ago. Those locomotives were all brand new, with the gear boxes and motors ripped out...

      No worries...
      Yes, that's why I moved to Facebook as well... I'm able to talk with everybody that's on UA-cam, and all of us are sharing ideas with 3D printings, plus we're buying selling trains off of each other way cheaper than eBay 😎👍

      Wow, this is amazing. I think a feature article in one of the magazines with large photos, descriptions and links to videos would be awesome! I’d pay for that!
      My only loco besides 0-4-0s in an Aristocraft Mikado, I love it and want to continue fixing it up now that we have a house and a possible place to run it. ua-cam.com/video/BAsV7hgobeU/v-deo.html

    Question 1 who is the manufacturer of these trains abd ho can I get a hold of the steam locomotive

    • @DavesTrainsAndAutomobiles
      @DavesTrainsAndAutomobiles  7 місяців тому

      Most of the engines were Aristocraft, 4-6-2 pacifics. These engines were purchased brand new specifically for this scrap train 20 years ago.. Then taken apart dismantled weathered, wrecked and free rolling no gearboxs. Aristocraft is no longer in business. These engines range anywhere from $300 to $1200+ EBay's always over priced... trainz.com is reasonable, sometimes you can find them on Facebook really cheap.
      Good luck 😎👍
