A good subject as a zombie apocalypse is how I first got into prepping. For combative purposes I'd choose the spear. However I'm someone who prioritizes utility so of the stuff in this video I'd choose the machete. However a zombie apocalypse is prepper code for any disaster that causes mass panic and or violences. So my go to weapon is my knowledge and training on improvise weapons and armor, as well as training in escaping and evading conflict.
I would pick the machete and the gunstock club. The machete is versatile as both a tool and a weapon, and the club is just great for breaking bones and that blade looks great for reaching into a brain without getting dangerously stuck inside a skull. Also, the gunstock club already existed before the Europeans arrived to North America, they did started calling it like that because its shape reminded them of the stocks of their muskets, but the club already existed in various forms before the colonial era started.

The best weapon to use in a zombie apocalypse, whether a Resident Evil or traditional zombie outbreak, is simple: Your brain. You've got to use your brain to think and plan, to come up with strategies to avoid the zombies (the best way to not get bitten/eaten is to be where the zombies aren't) and strategies for inevitable encounters with the walking dead, to choose the best physical weapons (for silent defense so as to not draw more zombies to you, strong enough for skull piercing or bashing, light enough to not slow you down or wear you out, etc.), to figure out escape routes, and to find supplies for your bugout location (food, water, clothing, fuel, blankets, medical gear, etc.). So, again, your best weapon that can help you survive the zombie apocalypse is your brain.

Couldn't locate the community tab. I love the hand forged spear sword. Especially loved the fact that it is a double edged weapon which actually gives you a wider range of strike options as well as longer reach. In a zombie outbreak give me reach over concealment every day. BTW finally found the community tab and put my vote in.

For fighting the spear, for edc in urban areas where discretion is must the karambit, but the Best Tools hands down is the Gunstock Warclub for hunting throwing it at preys and smashing Zombie skulls, but the Machete that reminds the Rambo IV one is maybe the only one I really want if only One Weapon can have at hand.
In this list, I think I'll take the Hand Forged Spear Sword. It'll go well with my folding knife (for closer distance). My future firearms will be good with it too (a 9mm pistol, an AR-15 in 5.56 NATO, and a long range rifle in .308).

A pointy stick is the best initial weapon. Zombies are dumb. They don't register the threat a weapon presents. Other weapons make good backups, for when your pointy stick fails.

Those gun stock clubs are no joke. I have a full length one and you can throw them. I have no formal training with any Kind of weapon like that and it wasn’t hard to throw and after about 5 mins I was pretty good at it witch means there easy to throw nothing about my skill. They look strange but they handle very nice that would he my choice and having a smaller one like this on the belt would he a nice secondary
I think as a pure weapons spear sword is by far the best, assuming its not to heavy. however if it is well balanced this would help to make it maneuverable even if it is little bit heavier. the machete would be effective weapon also and it could be used to cut ropes clear bush sharpen sticks if you want to make a trap and so on. the club with a spike would probably be effective weapon it could probably go through almost anything much like poleaxe or war hammer would using the spike that is on the reverse side. karambit would probably be effective backup weapon. but mantis claws as interesting as they look would be the least effective weapon here.
My weapon of choice to use in a zombie apocalypse would be my escrima sticks and nunchucks.😂 or my kendo stick. And of course I got my butter fly knives.

Hi George! Unfortunately, I have not been able to find any wrist blades that are well made enough to sell, but hopefully one day I will find some or we will start making them ourselves. you can't really be serious. fortunately, zombies aren't real. Because armed with those weapons, you're gonna die. a warhammer with a spiked buckler maybe a mace, things that won't get stuck in dead zombie meat, but still inflict massive damage. just my opinion. I like the format here. that native thing would be a good weapon if it were the correct size and composition.

I am very, very tired of the obsession with "zombie apocalypse." That said, since the only way given to stop a zombie is beheading or thorough dismemberment, a long, sharp sword is the only practical weapon to use. I believe my basket-hilt broadsword would be appropriate.
Sword-spear for me, man. I prefer reach, control, and sharpness. Plus it's easier to sharpen if it gets dulled.

I am very, very tired of the obsession with "zombie apocalypse." That said, since the only way given to stop a zombie is beheading or thorough dismemberment, a long, sharp sword is the only practical weapon to use. I believe my basket-hilt broadsword would be appropriate.
