They gotta use a the chevy.. they wanna actually make to their destination and back..🤣🤣.. jk. I hear ya.. I would like to see more people actually use the manufacturer engine
I gotta say that I liked most of them. Although, I really like the look of fenders and running boards. The can give the ride a more menacing look and stance. It's what I like about the (in your face) RED 34 Plymouth. But for Pete's sake, that is an overload of color. Thanks for another awesome vid Motor.
I'm thinking that people are crazy with those prices. You can invest thousands into a car, but you're never going to get it all back and that's what I think that they are trying to do.
Ya it's easy to lose sight of what you were aiming to build and then one quick decision leads to another and soon you realize it's too late to start over so you end up with a piece of poopy. I actually put a lot of thought into my build and come up with a plan. According to my plan I'm about two years overdue and quit a bit over budget but I'm steadfast on achieving my end result, a vehicle I will be proud to show off and take mud running.
I think I've figured it out. I think people highball everything they're trying to sell so that they'll end up closer to what shit's worth when people lowball them
The 32 Plymouth and the 31 Ford both caught my eye - especially with the period correct hot rodding. The 37 Ford was sharp, but as you said, wish it would have had a Ford engine (preferably a flatty). Great to hear your voice again sir, hope you're healing up well. Thanks for all you do ~ Chuck
I agree with you completely on the first one, it's totally right up my alley, but you were nicer about it than I'd be. Actually what I think people do nowadays is highball everything so that they can get closer to what shit's worth when people lowball them
I used to have a 57 ranchero with a 292 in it. They sound good, they're solid cam engines. They do have a problem when they get a lot of miles on them, the cam bearings can turn a little and block off oil flow to the heads. Mine was a worn out turd of an engine
Hi there bro. Absolutely great to have you back. Hopefully you are feeling a bit better. That sedan I kind of like but I completely agree with you about the price. Considering there are no electrics. Now the 31 is absolutely gorgeous. A little high on price but I think ultimately worth it and I like the fact that they kept the mudguards and the running boards. I hate it when they take them off especially in the states because you have so many companies that produce those kind of things for those cars whereas in the UK, you would have to search high and low, to find a company to do something like that. That 1940 Chevy is definitely something I could see myself driving. that is just beautiful. I completely agree with you about the price though. that is a little too much. I love that Plymouth. That is just gorgeous. At least it wasn’t in Pepto-Bismol pink. LOL. Now the 32 Plymouth would look fantastic if they kept the mudguards and the running boards. That’s what makes that car. Now we are talking. That 37 Ford convertible, I have to admit that I do like that even though I’m not a Ford guy. That is just beautiful. That is one thing I agree with you on is the sound from an old flathead V8 because it just has a distinctive sound and they were so tunable. Plus you couldn’t break them no matter what. Anyways, bro. Thank you for another fantastic video and another great laugh. I really look forward to your next one. As always do. please take care of yourself and feel better soon. Blessings to you and your family from the UK.
Agree with you. You might get back most of the parts but you never get the Labour . I see too many over priced cars. That’s why Barrett Jackson have so many cars say the bidding goes on.
Loving the cars not the prices! I noticed that black 40 chevy coupe had M/T rocker covers, I wonder if it had anything else interesting in the motor? Tasty flat head at the end had edelbrok heads too! Nice to see you're back fella!
I'm currently building a 2004 Chevy 4 door blazer, I put 1978 half ton 4x4 axles under it, installed a 700 r4 transmission transfer case from a 1991 suburban in it and I'm using a V6 vortec engine from a 2000 Sonoma and converted it to a 4 barrel carburetor. I have around 6,000 tied up it in just parts we are not talking about the many many hours in Fab work but I'm realistic on what I can sell it for and I probably could get around 3,000 out of it. And yes it is a rust free body and no I didn't do the natty light saw zaw butcher job, I'm doing it the right way this is why it's taking me 5 years so far to get it to where all I have left to do is fuel and break lines and wire up the engine to start using the key. But I am not selling it.
that black and yellow Ford conver5tible is definitely sharp and my personal favorite color scheme but without a period correct engine I cant see spending more than 28,500 but thats just me
Black is way more expensive then a metallic or candied paint job. There are lots of shades of red better then that red. I have an old Ford flat head v8. No it's not for sale
I'm glad you are not my neighbor.....we sound too much alike....people ask big bucks for the vehicles, hoping to get it, but if you were to build one nowadays, the price is insane for the parts you put on these cars.....this is why ratrods are more popular than ever........slap them together and enjoy them, you build the car for you not for someone else......next owner will change it if he wants to
The 35 Ford 3 window coupe is not a 1935. It’s a 34 coupe, glass car, with a 32 grill. If you’re going to advertise cars, please know what you’re selling.
I like them prices! But then I build instead of buy. And in reality when you sell these things you find out you ended up paying yourself 50 cents an hour to build it.
Many cars are overpriced. Not just the old ones. Check out a 2024 model. Fact is, most of these old clunkers, when mechanically restored are much simpler to maintain. It's not even close.
Why are the photos always crap and blurred , are they all drunk when they are taking the pictures And yes motor mouth red is just so yesterday So many nice colours available pick one
First impressions are always important, blurry photos and lack of cleanliness are a big turn off for me. I’m not talking about a 3 thousand dollar beater, but once the price tops 10 grand, I had better see some quality presentation , and as that price increases significantly I expect more. Just to get my attention. I’m a believer that if it looks junky in the add , it’s probably junky in person
Where do you live? Because the guys in white coats are looking for you with a straight jacket for what you said about the 1940 Chevrolet. That car is worth the $26,500 asking price. They are also probably going to require a drug test based on your narrative.
Every one of those old Fords with a Chevy engine in it breaks my heart.......
They gotta use a the chevy.. they wanna actually make to their destination and back..🤣🤣.. jk.
I hear ya.. I would like to see more people actually use the manufacturer engine
Yeah, why waste a perfectly good motor like that.
Good to see you back hope you are feeling better@@MOTORHEADMISFITS-zk9su
@@ZebraActual agree and inject em
Chevy is way cheaper and parts more common. Also the small block Ford is a little longer, the Chevy is an easier fit.
Love that last one, with the flat head...can't go wrong!
I hear ya.. I like that style hot rod.
But I love all classics
I’m thinking some people watch way. Too many car auctions and think. They have big money cars.
Yes I agree.. reality tv has killed a realistic market!
So glad to see you're back. I miss watching your videos. 👍
Thanks for watching, glad to be back!

5:51 What a gorgeous 32 Plymouth hotrod wooow & 33 Chevy street rod for $16,500 maybe worth it could be neat project.
I'm thinking that people are crazy with those prices. You can invest thousands into a car, but you're never going to get it all back and that's what I think that they are trying to do.

I had a 56 crown Vic with a 312 cid y block out of a 59 ford police interceptor it would rock and roll believe me loved it
I like the flathead engines. and I agree, they really do sound good.
Yes they do.. such a distinctive sound too!

Alright. My favorite way to start my evening
Thank you sir..
I would like to see that '34 Plymouth painted in a deep midnight metal flake purple with some sunset orange highlights.
Glad to see you back. You are one of the best at what you do. Keep up the good work.👌👍
Why thank you.. I happy you think so.

They're all garage queens. Give me a 50's-70's pickup that I can use as a daily driver.
I wouldn’t buy any of these or others without pictures of the build , unless I knew the builder and their work . I want to see what I’m paying for!
I totally agree with you on that first car. Most of the prices look a little too high .
Yes.. thanks for watching and commenting
I agree with you a Ford hotrod should have a Ford motor I particularly dislike AC Cobras with Chevy power plants.
Some really nice rides but, i agree on the prices. us everyday normal guys just don't have "Jay Leno" money.
Absolutely.. and speaking of jay.. I'd love to visit his garage and see the beautiful machines he has.
Thanks for watching and commenting
Like the looks of these style hot rods , pricing is crazy but the first 2 maybe worth a shot but a little cheaper in the price
I hear ya.. the first two definitely have potential.
Thanks for watching and commenting
reality check, no one is buying overpriced rides they are just not worth these silly prices...
Nice man! I love me an old hot rod, I would definitely like to own one for sure someday, but thanks for the great video brother, take care 👍👌😎💪👏
Thank you sir.. yeah I like them too.. keep up your learning and you'll be able to build your very own.

Beautiful cars, ugly prices! But iam poor, lol! Hope your doing better
Yeah... they are a little high... im doing some better thanks
I wonder if they are pricing their cars based on the insurance value?🤔
Some of the prices are a little high and no one going to buy someone else's problems 😂😂😅😅
Ever find a Model T with an F20, F22, KA24, SR, RB, etc... (japanese car engine)?
The 31 Ford flatty. Why is one head painted red and the other unpainted? Replacement head?
I believe that picture was one before they upgraded the heads.. but that a guess.

Some nice cars for someone that has to much money. Sadly they are over priced for the average person
Absolutely.. thanks for watching and commenting
31 Plymouth coupe is kinda impossible being the first hemi wasnt made till 64
First Hell was 1951. You are a decade off.
Red fades faster than most paint colors
It’s to do with ultra violet light spectrum blue which red obsorbes instead of reflecting it
This economy is in the crapper. All these cars need to come down by 5k
Yes
Flatheads Forever!
I own two running flatheads. They are a pain in the ass. Also, very under powered.
Yeah I know.. but they sound so good..

Well they are looking for fools with too much money!
These sellers are just like the blue voters-- living on hopium but end up on copium!😂

Cheaper than Fords.

$9700 and its not even tall enough for a stripper pole....
I know right .. wtf? 🤣🤣🤣
Neither is a cobra or corvette.
Any of the Fords with a chevy engine is worth 0.......
