I got the deep purple one and i love how different it looks in different lighting. sometimes it looks blue, sometimes it looks black or grey, sometimes it looks purple, and sometimes it looks like a black with a hint of purple which i absolutely love. I was definitely second guessing my decision but now that i have it im so glad i chose it over space black.

Silver is the only color that has a coating free stainless steel bezel. That means it is the only color that can be polished using very basic products and look like new with a very simple restoration. I found Silver color a little bright but the contrast with the black lenses looks awesome (panda effect). In second place I like the Space Black, looks very nice and uniform but I don’t like the idea of the bezel’s scratching and showing details that cant be repaired.
This is my first time seeing one of your videos and tbh it’s the best iPhone comparison video I’ve ever seen! All 22 minutes were so informative and impressive. It really helped me decide on which to pick. I never realized how much the stainless steel when front facing would bother me. Thank you!
I agree, this is the best review I've seen. Wish I saw it before I bought mine. I got the gold but when I saw the space black, wish I had gone for that instead. Going to use the gold for awhile and then see if I can exchange it when the Space Black is in stock.

I feel like Sierra Blue was the best color in their Pro series. That's the only light blue Pro phones they ever made. Wish they make a lighter Purple Pro phone as well!
I've tried the deep black and purple one, and these 2 colors are crazy , the black is the deepest we saw since the 12 series redesign , it's not graphite, it's really deep black, and I dig it, but the purple is also more dark in most usage and I sticked with Purple and I'm happy I did. ( + fingerprints on the black are more visible imho ) . when I watch you put the camera side on the screen , I was yelling , careful the camera bump will scratch the screens, but you got it right ^^

Why no one speaks about metal frame being painted/coated or naked metal as the silver one? All others are painted! Silver keeps nude metal without paint, I believe. Address that shit!
Silver/White is timeless. Black too! But white and silver just stands out and ages so well! I recently put my 12 Pro side-by-side with a gold 13 Pro and the gold just looked...old and dated. My 12 Pro still looked new and elegant.

I went from Silver to Blue to Graphite to Black the last 4 years. I agree the Graphite back is the best ever. I’m happy with the Space Black, just wish it were darker.

I think I made the right choice with space black. Last minute decision had me trying to order silver, but it was backordered at the time and space black wasn’t. I’m not a big fan of purple, but it looks better when it lighting makes it look grey.

@@jamesn7156 my space grey after 4 years looks almost new, you can barely see any scratches on the side. You can polish out the silver one. I would go for the phone you prefer the look of, wouldn’t worry too much on the scratches if your using a case.

The Deep Purple is the best colour since the green iPhone 11 Pro, in my opinion. It's interesting while still looking classy and it goes with quite a lot of wallpapers and cases. I don't regret purchasing it for a second, I'm very happy with it.

I have the 14 Pro in Deep Purple. I keep it in an Otterbox Defender Pro XT case in Black Crystal. So, the case trim is black with a clear back. So, the color of the phone can be seen. But, at the end of the day, I care more about protection than color over time.
I think Apple should make the pro's in optional Aluminium sides. The Silver would look awesome with Aluminium sides. Just like the old 4S. I like the more subtle Gold too. Purple is nice and the Black is probably my last choice. I still want a Rose Gold Iphone Pro. I'd buy one tomorrow.

Does the gold have a yellow tint to it? I had an iPhone 6 or 7 (can't remember) in gold and my last iPhone XS Max is gold. Of course with the Moment case on it, to hold their lens, you have no idea what the color is. I was leaning purple but I have a space gray Air and knew I'd probably like the graphic phone but now after his video, not sure which one I like.

The stainless steel bands on the silver can be polished too with some cape cod cloth unlike the space black. The iPhone X I used back in the day was a silver, and trust me it oozes elegance. On the lighter colors silver and gold, the camera bumps look bigger. But this is optical illusion. However I bough the space black version and I don’t regret it.
I’ve been buying gold ever since 2017. I’m tempted to get it just because it’s a classic. But I’m honestly getting sick of it. I’m leaning towards purple now but scared I might hate it in low light. Like it’s so obviously purple and it’s such a nice shade of purple, too. I absolutely LOVE the color, but if I’m being honest I kinda miss the gold… Beige is a neutral-ish color so it matches a lot of outfits whereas the purple doesn’t, and for me personally, that kinda sucks. I usually pick my phones based on my wardrobe, but this time the purple really caught my attention so I just went with it. It’s a very elegant purple when it’s in your hand in natural lighting and if you like purple, it’s AWESOME. Still miss the gold though!

But I felt like if I ordered gold again I would feel like I got the same exact phone. I wanted to feel some kind of excitement ordering the new phone. But the purple looked really nice online. It isn’t my favorite color but pink is so it’s kinda close? I know I’ll love it either way.
If you can, try and experience the phone at an apple store or something like that. I saw the deep purple in person, and it made me even more determined to buy it, rather than only seeing it on the internet. I was debating on getting either the space black or the deep purple, but i think purple is the one for me! I am generally a big fan of darker phones, and i love darker purple colors in general, so i wont mind it looking dark and less purple in some lighting.
I got gold this year because I’m just really tired of graphite. The last time I had another color besides black or graphite was when I got the 4s 2012. Was time to switch it up lol

have experimented with available colors in the pro series & this time went for the gold one as its quite understated & subtle, quite classy...on hindsight the silver looks cool too as I use with a hard case...though have to say my all time favorite is the jet black shade of 7 plus I treasured & admired a lot .. wish apple brings that shade back in future iterations/models...

Got the deep purple. Every year I also upgrade and get the new color that comes out. I've had all the colors from previous iphone and sometimes you cannot tell if you have a new phone or not. But I do loved my deep purple 14 pro max and it's paired with a black case OtterBox symmetry.
I was surprised when you pulled out that Red one towards the end. It really shows the striking vibrant difference between the Pro's lineup of more muted colors.
Gold looks the worst in online photos and videos, but in person it is so nice. I don't like black and purple when using a solid color case, the camera set just look flat black of nothing. They are best with clear case or no case at all.

Does the gold have a yellow tint to it? I had an iPhone 6 or 7 (can't remember) in gold and my last iPhone XS Max is gold. Of course with the Moment case on it, to hold their lens, you have no idea what the color is. I was leaning purple but I have a space gray Air and knew I'd probably like the graphic phone but now after his video, not sure which one I like.
Same here, exchanged deep purple for gold, very happy now, the cameras look great and the phone stand outs even in dark

@@TravelDiariesWithAbhi Hi Abhishek, the space black is nice too for sure. But for some reason the silver would age gracefully over two years. The stainless steel bands on the silver can be polished too with some cape cod cloth unlike the space black. The iPhone X I used back in the day was a silver, and trust me it oozes elegance. And this is an expensive important purchase. Thank you! I did get the gold, as I do constantly lose it in my sofa or bed, and need to find it quickly. I also have the 13 mini in white from last year. I am now looking at them both... I actually like the gold rims around the camera nodules in the back on the 14 Gold Pro..very subtle.

@@kiaragarcia3704 coming from the Gold 13 Pro Max myself, the purple looks WAY more purple to me than others make it out to be. Like it’s so obviously purple and it’s such a nice shade of purple, too.
I absolutely LOVE the color, but if I’m being honest I kinda miss the gold… Beige is a neutral-ish color so it matches a lot of outfits whereas the purple doesn’t, and for me personally, that kinda sucks. I usually pick my phones based on my wardrobe, but this time the purple really caught my attention so I just went with it.
It’s a very elegant purple when it’s in your hand in natural lighting and if you like purple, it’s AWESOME.
Still miss the gold though!
@@xephia I agree 100%. Gold is just more aesthetically pleasing and it is a neutral color that goes with everything. I have the iPhone 12 Pro Max in gold and I love it. But I felt like if I ordered gold again I would feel like I got the same exact phone. I wanted to feel some kind of excitement ordering the new phone. But the purple looked really nice online. It isn’t my favorite color but pink is so it’s kinda close? I know I’ll love it either way.
If you can, try and experience the phone at an apple store or something like that. I saw the deep purple in person, and it made me even more determined to buy it, rather than only seeing it on the internet. I was debating on getting either the space black or the deep purple, but i think purple is the one for me! I am generally a big fan of darker phones, and i love darker purple colors in general, so i wont mind it looking dark and less purple in some lighting.
I got gold this year because I’m just really tired of graphite. The last time I had another color besides black or graphite was when I got the 4s 2012. Was time to switch it up lol

have experimented with available colors in the pro series & this time went for the gold one as its quite understated & subtle, quite classy...on hindsight the silver looks cool too as I use with a hard case...though have to say my all time favorite is the jet black shade of 7 plus I treasured & admired a lot .. wish apple brings that shade back in future iterations/models...
still have, and use, a 7+. Looking to buy a PM and trying to decide on color.

Got the deep purple. Every year I also upgrade and get the new color that comes out. I've had all the colors from previous iphone and sometimes you cannot tell if you have a new phone or not. But I do loved my deep purple 14 pro max and it's paired with a black case OtterBox symmetry.
I was surprised when you pulled out that Red one towards the end. It really shows the striking vibrant difference between the Pro's lineup of more muted colors.
Gold looks the worst in online photos and videos, but in person it is so nice. I don't like black and purple when using a solid color case, the camera set just look flat black of nothing. They are best with clear case or no case at all.
With the 15 out, I am now shopping for the 14. LOL.

The deep purple is greyish which is why I feel the made the graphite to space black. They would look to similar if they didn’t darken it up
