Farewell Clive. Thank you for all your thoughtful commentaries.

Think this is the most entertaining of all the Clive James Library interviews. Pity they only last half an hour, presumably because he wanted to sell them to a TV channel. Don't think that happened? I"m now desperate to see those Ruby Wax films.

I think apart from anything else she is a beautiful person inside and out.

The Madame Imelda interview was possibly the greatest thing ive ever seen and certainly Rubys gem along with the Russia one Wax meets west which was actually quite emotional! I happen to be a fan of Madame Marcos and her family and Im glad theyre In positions of power today and it looks like theyre going back to the palace and theyll be running the country for the best! Duterte is a strange guy but hes passionate, he loves the Marcos family and will pass the torch to Bong Bong or Imee in a few years. The joy of watching the interview is that even though some of the Marcos money may have come from some "unethical" sources and theyre trying to hide that youll see that Madame Marcos just cant help herself but show off her things! She says shes penniless as she has hundreds of millions of dollars worth of paintings by Picasso, Van Gogh etc on the wall behind her and her millions of dollars worth of jewellery glistening in the light 🤣🤣 Shes a very lovable lady and yeah she hasnt always been totally honest but shes not an evil woman, shes not a killer shes a mother and she was thrown into a situation that no one could prepare for and remember she has never been convicted and every case shes always acquitted because even though she spent billions they cant actually prove it was stolen and just assuming it was stolen is really unfair. Shes in her 90s and finally the awful government agency that came after her and her family has been disbanded so she can live her life peacefully now. Dont judge without doing research into her life
