It’s not ran by judge mental and hateful older people who believe they’re better then other human beings no more millennials and gen z took over and included everyone and anyone who had talent or skills in which they were talented in no matter what shape their nose is or color or colors their skin is like Chantelle Whitney Brown as long as they have talent in that skill cause they are wise enough to know how God made you look is not the end all be all yet who that person is inside and what kind of talent they bring to the career their pursuing is way more important then if you personally think their shape and skin tone is superior . Younger generations just arnt big bully’s who believe a skin tone or shape is more superior then personality or talent . We grew up and realized how childish that sounds and hoping the older folks will realize it soon

My board certified plastic surgeon botched me and wiped his hands clean of me the second he sewed me up. There are so many terrible doctors in the US and there are plenty of quality doctors overseas
Dr Dubrow did this with me. I didn’t want to come across as pushy so I allowed him to put me off.
Trust me when I say board certified doesn’t mean good. At all. So many cases from extremely well known doctors. I am so sorry that happened to you, something simalr happened to me too luckily I got help, I hope the safe for u and a fast recovery. Be kind to urself and rmb it’s not ur fault! But don’t go back to the same doc

Yah i would go to South korea before i go to the US for any aesthetic procedure. Way more competitive so the doctors had to study way harder and have to follow stricter rules to gain and keep clients.

I feel so sorry for these women. All of them were lured into something awful and they furthermore agreed to have these procedures done on them. When someone tell you : - you could look better if.... etc. just walk away. You are good enough, pretty enough. Gain more confidence.

breast implant illness is a real thing
I’m so glad I learnt about it when I was considering getting work done, turns out my body tends to reject foreign objects. I didn’t have any piercings including ear piercings until my late teens and my body kept rejecting them, I tried for years, the only area that works was my ears but only if I wear gold, anything else turns into a rash/blisters. I realized if I can’t even keep a piercing what make me think I could keep implants.

You can live them your whole life. Doctors say that things just to take always a money. Every surgery is a risk and with every brest augmentation you can have a problems even if previous you didn't have any, so why to risk if you don't have any problems. So if you live good, without problems, pain,strange things...don't go around. My aunt have them for 40 years now, she feel great, no healthy issues,pain or anything else and she's just fine.
@@ada6044This is untrue. Devices fail. The lumen breaks down and the silicone leaches through the membrane. The gummy type implant that was manufactured post Dow Corning and class action lawsuits breaks down in a crumbly form. The saline form of implant also can leak. There is data out in the public domain regarding this issue. Even pacemakers, joint replacements, etc have a failure & replacement timeline. Your relative most likely had 1st generation Dow Corning implants. They were placed under the muscle in a pocket & encapsulate. The implants have well exceeded their lifetime. A spiral MRI would show the silicone that has leaked and is being contained by the scar capsule. Again there is data & studies available.
I'm gonna need therapy after this

Agreed! I have breast augmentation 25 years ago…big mistake! I completely regret it and will have them removed. Now, in my 50’s I accept myself the way I am and am no longer trying to “fool” anyone…including myself.

Because they are plastic surgeons, and people can choose to have elective surgeries if they pay out of pocket. (Not defending it, just explaining)

And i disagree with the drs statement. Being a surgeon born in another country doesn't make you a bad surgeon. That's a stupid thought process. There are amazing surgeons abroad (even more skilled at noses than dr. Nassif). That's like saying anyone born in india, turkey, iran, etc are incapable of becoming good surgeons. There are good, skilled surgeons and bad surgeons in every country...you just have to read customer reviews on websites like realself to weed out the untalented ones. The procedures are less expensive in other countries not because the surgeons suck but rather because the cost of living is much cheaper.

Actually I paid a pretty penny to make sure this didn’t happen to me. I went to Dr. Dubrow, who postponed a massage appointment. I wouldn’t learn about medical gaslighting until today. The pain from capsular contracture (refused to treat it unless I gave him 6 grand) caused an opiate addiction. I nearly had it in less than two years despite the addiction but the office had already thrown out the paperwork.
So… you expected Dr. Dub row to do if for free? Medical gaslighting? Please give me a BREAK. I have capsular contracture in one breast implant I’ve had for 25 years. Guess what? I fully EXPECT TO PAY FOR THE REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT. Ridiculous.

Yep. It’s completely inaccurate to say that US has the highest standards of care. US actually has very high rates of medical errors and hospital acquired infections
