Are the bed rails universal from truck to truck? I ask because I'm trying to sell my cover, and a guy asked if I'd be willing to swap bed rails. It looked like, on the video, that each truck kept their set of bed rails. Thanks for the help.
Maybe a quick video on the torment of the rubber front plugs? I have the LH and RH plugs but shape is goofy and not sure on the figment/ Install.. thanks!!
I have a 2017 Toyota Tacoma and I got a tunnel cover from another Toyota Tacoma same year I don't have the accessories and it does not fit on my Toyota Tacoma bed one side is a little out what do you recommend I do and what accessories should I buy
Is there a way to tighten the rear of the cover? While it's closed and the tailgates up I can still pull the back up almost an inch? When I bought it the dealer said they can't be changed or fixed because it comes from the factory that way.
Put your hand about 6 inches from the end of the cover, on the side edge (basically where the pins and latch are), and press down firmly. You should hear a click which should snug down the cover. Do it on both sides, if needed.
@@shinhochulp I have the same problem on my 2020. From what I can tell the pins in the factory holes are too high. There's no adjustment on the latch as there should be. So I'm going to make the wholes on the bed widened and move the pins down. They designed it to be a quick and dirty port installation IMO.

What size is that bolt head is there such a thing as 11.5MM or did it come with a special socket? 11mm is too small and 12mm feels like it is going to strip the head.
you'll have to search online. walking in to dealerships parts department to buy these is like buying a TRD pro grill for a regular tacoma. they say nope. they say these tonneau have to be bought thru the car sales department. toyota puts these things on specific trims and packages from factory etc and NOT all tacomas are eligible ( even if it all fits anyways). very weird.

They swapped. The factory tonneau has cut bed rails to go around the clip locations (metal knobs or whatever they’re called) there’s a post on Tacoma world on this
I had mine from the factory trying to figure a way to seal the bed but it is awful. There’s a 1” gap in the rear of the bed and water seeps in all along the bed rails. Every solution I’ve seen doesn’t fully address the problem. Still debating what to do
the soft focus and muted audio are really what make this video great!
Do the bed rail caps break if you pop them off? or can they be reused?
Man using that drill cringes me, y’all would not be doing that on my truck huh, but good tutorial
Great video! I'm getting mine installed tomorrow morning at the dealer on a 19 Pro.
EasyMoney 74 where did you find the cover - and did Toyota provide the rails?

The dealer told me the same thing, he said there's no adjustment.
