Thanks! Wearing headphones (and thru UA-cam's wonderful audio compression), I preferred the ELX top. Sounded like better mids/highs overall. The highs on the filter transition in the 2nd song (approx 3:03-) sounded awful thru the Everse. Surprised they were that close in SPL. Looking forward to see the Everse 12 in this comparison...I wonder if the solo Everse 12 could keep up with the Everse 8/ELX sub combo?
I put my sub under the Everse 8 and set the sub at 100hz and it's pretty awesome. That Everse 8 hangs pretty good. For the portability of the Everse 8 and that sub is awesome and mobile. I love mine.
Do you set any high-pass filter on the Everse or do you just leave it full range?
@@kozihoppy I set it on 120hz and 100hz. I think I like the 120hz the best. LOL
In conclusion, we can say the Everse 8 is an amazing 8" speaker... but it's still an 8" speaker.
Just got EVerse 12s think we need a new mobile test 😂
Why would you choose a everse8 above a 10p and 12p in this setup. you still need a cabel for the sub and its more expensive than the 10p and 12p. Also it looks not better.
