Unfortunately the install script will not work with the latest/new moonraker paths (printer_data/…) I’m running s single instance so just created a symbolic link prior to running the installation script using the following command: ln -s ~/printer_data/config/ ~/klipper_config After this, the install will run successfully.
Steps: 1. ssh to your machine 2. Clone the moonraker-timelapse repo 3a. Single instance: Run the install script 3b. Multiple Instances: Run commands listed in the description - Edit USER and PRINTER 4. Set up Mainsail - Add Mainsail.conf - Update save location - Save and Reboot 5. Make sure to set your camera in the Mainsail settings 6. Print
hiya mate, i realised that crowsnest is not design for multiple instances. As i have 1 pi connected to 2 different printers (2 instances) and i have 2 usb webcams plugged in, is there a way to set one for each printer? ta
@@minimal3dp thank you. I guess I was not being too clear . I am on mainsail flavour using crowsnest with 1 pi 2 cams and 2 printers. the goal is to point one to one and the other to the 2nd printer not for timelapse only but also just to use is to monitor as webcam stream. I've managed to add both using crowsnest, but for some odd reason it's only showing either 1 or the other. both cams are C920. I can see the fps is trickling on the bottom of both cam, but one is completely blank. I've used v4l2 commands to ensure that the video(n) that I added into crowsnest.conf is the correct one, and which I think they are correct because both has blue ring lid up on them. ...but again only is showing picture and the other doesn't. I am using mode: streamer on both, is that correct or should I use mjpg? any guidance be much apprecicated.
@@LastZion I know its a bit late, the only way I've been able to get crowsnest to work consistently with 2 instanced on one Pi is by using "camera-streamer", otherwise I get one or the other working only. Im using 2 printers, 2 webcams (C290 & a Microsoft cheapo cam), and 1 RPI 4.
So, I have tried many times. I have the timelapse section in Fluidd and it executes 99% of the macro, but I have an IP camera linked to fluidd and every time it goes to take a pic, I get "Error taking timelapse frame". Any suggestions?

I will try to add a pinned comment tomorrow. I appreciate you pointing out the problem.
Thanks! You saved me! :)
Thank you for this, Got my 2 aquilas on inovato quadra setup after several failed attempts. cheers
Very good video, thanks for this guide. Worked very well. The only criticism is that the sound is a bit bad.
Thanks for the feedback. Dang sound is my nemesis. I can seem to get it consistently good.

Muchas gracias!
You are welcome

The instructions in this video should work if you are using mainsail, fluidd, or octoprint.
