Do you recommend buying this kit? Everything comes pre wired?
I would buy it again. It comes with all the wires. It is great.
Doing an amazing work. Can't appreciate you enough! Amazing series !
Thanks
Just been looking for a video on Klipper estimator so I was happy to see it mentioned in the summary and installation. You glossed over most of the config documentation though - can you do another video explaining how to set up the config file and what the estimator is supposed to do as I can’t get it to work. Thanks.
WOW, Thank you for the STEP BY STEP guide, this video really helps me to understand how you flash it
I am glad you found it helpful. I am in the process of shortening it so It will be a stand alone video for installing the CB1 and the EBB board.
@@minimal3dp I think your video is great, no need to shorten it. your steps followed all the steps from Esoterical Can Bus Guide and I really like it.
Thanks for the tutorial. Great video.
Glad you found it helpful.
After all your advice about cleaning the build plate, you go and rub it numerous times 😂 Ah sure, we all do it😢
Do as I say, not as I do.....
Great video. Also, you exposed your router password. Not sure if you want to keep that up.
Thanks. I did not see that. I will change it.
To shorten update/upgrade you can: sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade -y
Thanks. I always forget I can do that.
For those of you who live near a bi-mart you can get 16oz of 99% rubbing alcohol for less than $3 a bottle.
I wish I could get it that cheap
@ they always give me funny looks when I bring a cart full of bottles and nothing else to the checkout counter. 😂
a question please , am getting an error when i send stl from fusionj 360 to creality print any work around that ? thanks
What error are you getting?
I have purchase a chromaset for my ender5+ but nothing work , all is wrong ... I ask me if I could have your help ? thanks
I have not used a chromaset so I might not be able to help much. I am feel all next week and I am on US Central time. What days/time can you meet?
I really appreciate your thoroughness and how you talk out everything. It'll be so useful when I assemble mine when it gets here.
Thanks for the feedback. Email me if you have questions.
Ohhhh you’re saying go to my att network interface and look at devices connected to the network. Oh ok. I’m guessing the ip isn’t on the touchpad like on the k1 max.
It actually might be. I don’t have a k1 and I didn’t think to look. My bad.
You mean when you search for WiFi your k2 pops up and you got the ip like that?
When I search the web interface for my router. The ip is probably buried in the screen as well (based on your other comment).
I am having trouble connecting my Tronxy X5SA Pro printer to the Creality Sonic Pad. Please help me connect it; I’m going crazy!
Is there a profile for the tronxy?
@@minimal3dp I sent you an email titled SUPPORT REQUEST.
No need to go that slow. The only reason for keeping things slow is that you don't want the motor to skip or the filament to slip and that means keeping the back pressure low, but 1mm/s is really ridiculously slow.
For the test, I believe it has to be that slow
good video. I recently installed mine without knowing this video existed. I got it figured out mostly as I've never used klipper and my printer is so custom between the poor documentation of the fact that the 2 z steppers run from the same driver and I have to figure out to use the second extruder and my struggle with setting up klipper on a heavily custom printer it was certainly a learning experience.
I am glad you got it figured out.
im still struggling a little since ive never used klipper. Your next video was a huge help too. It didnt occur to me there is repositories for both printers, and boards. Id been working with the Git for the board but didnt take advantage of the added msterial in the ender 3 v2 git.@minimal3dp
Mike, thank you for doing this build, I’m also building a Voron 2.4 and been following your videos.
I hope it helps. Email me if you have questions.
@@minimal3dp Thankyou bro, I most certainly will :)
Can I ask, do you plan on doing the stealth changer mode sometime? I'm goona do it slowly, and I was wondering if you might as well.
Can you share a link? I have not seen that mod.
it didnt work for me . bug screen
Did you select the correct board?
Do you have to remove the original smaller screen that comes with the S1 plus?
You don’t have to remove it but the smaller screen will no longer work.
@minimal3dp okay thank you
My Nozzle dose get close enough even at 0.000 it's not even close
Can you go negative?
Hey, I need to get with you in a week or so. I could use your assistance in setting up the KCM on the sv08.
Feel free to shot me an email. I am off next week and will have time.
@@minimal3dp Sorry for late reply. I sent you email.
It's good practice to repeat the test after changing the rotation distance / e-steps so you can see if any further adjustment is needed.
That is a good best practice. I probably should have.
Thats great but why bother at all when the original KAMP does all this and more without all the extra steps?
Good point. I figured that some might struggle with installing the scripts.
ilk beğenen ben oldum :)
Pinned!
@minimal3dp çok teşekkür🙏💕 ederim... Mutlu oldum
no cam though
yeah, really hope creality is working on getting it to work. as well as getting mainsail installed as I am so not used to fluidd
The camera is a problem.
Be great if you can test out the profile on orca slicer and let us know how it goes. cheers
I will work on it. I am running some tests now.
@@minimal3dp Many thanks!
I have one Mike, they are really nice. What I use it for is to set my Z offset when I'm printing stuff like ASA or ABS. That way i dont have to open the door and have the smell come out. I built an enclosure around the printer. I cant get to my touch screen so I use this. I dont think there is a way to use the camera on it. If you figure out how to update the firmware that would be nice to see.
Using it for the z offsets is a really good use case.
I'm having a problem using Mainsail with a BTT SKR Pro 1.2 where no matter what I set for x,y probe offsets the printer will not honor my probe offsets. I can set 10 or 100 for x and y and the print head is directly over the center of the bed while it homes as defined by safe z home. it's driving me crazy. The BL touch is definitely working.
Go through your printer.Cfg and make sure the offsets are not somehow in there twice.
@@minimal3dp Thanks for the follow up. I think I know what the issue is (or not issue :) ) is. I'm used to Marlin which I have been running for years where the probe offset affects everything in the firmware. It seems in Klipper safe home and other things don't honor the probe offset the same way. For example in Marlin you set you probe offset and all other measurements you do off the toolhead, so on a home once I set my offset then the probe will move to the center of the bed on the next home. I was getting thrown because safe home wasn't probing the middle of the bed but if I do a probe calibrate I see the tool head slowly move over. If I just moved on and started working on calibrating Z offset I would have figured this out sooner.
You did t read the instructions well enough. You're supposed to have heated both the nozzle and bed to their normal temps before running any tests, and keep them heated during the testing process. Self-correction. A second reading sees that it says "if your printer is enclosed". My mistake.
No problem. It is easy to miss things. It would not be surprising if I messed up. Thanks for the self-correction.
everytime i get a used printer i find myself at your channel, I appreciate all the work you do, for real. the mercury 1.1 builds have helped me tremendously. Cheers!!
I appreciate the kind words.
can use for BLTouch ?
I used a cr touch so the touch should work.
Hi :) Is there any way to acces Klippe based printers from a pc ? Like Simplify3D or alike ?
You should be able to access it via its IP address.
the blue pad on the cb1 is a thermal pad. its used to transfer heat from the cb1 to the heatsink. you should install it. it is NOT an adheasive
Thanks.
Garbage audio, no idea what you need to do about it though I'm afraid.
Thankyou for you time. Much appreciated for new guys
You are welcome
Thank you fren.... Connecting was doing my nut in, so this was what I needed.
Glad it was helpful
I see your line width setting is 0.5. Are you using a 0.5mm nozzle?
I am using a .4 nozzle. I do a .5 line thickness for both speed and strength.
@minimal3dp can you share the orca slicer profile you are using?
you don't need to install kamp, raw klipper has the adaptive meshing in it for a little while now and you already set up the purging
I realized that after the fact.
will this work with an ender 3 pro v1 screen and btt skr mini e3 v2?
I don’t believe you will need to rewire the screen. For that model, I think it might be plug and play if you select the correct option in the firmware.
will this work for the ender 3 pro v1 screen?
No it will not
Thanks Mike, for this explanation.I was looking for this as already indicated, going to give this a try. thanks for your help in this.
Glad it was helpful!
Hey Mike, great coverage on this simple tweak. Could you cover how to set up and tune the "Small Area Flow Compensation" & the "Adaptive Pressure Advance" features in Orcaslicer?
I will work on it. It might take me a week or 2. I am traveling this weekend.
Отличное видео.
Thanks
Just in case I'm the viewer you mention, I was talking about the adaptive pressure advance, not this. Though this did give me some options I didn't know before.
I am not sure myself. I will work on something for adaptive PA.
@minimal3dp honestly it's looking like it'll be like the vfa tower, little to no documentation on how to use it
@ I agree. I was going to do something about it when 2.2 dropped but I had trouble getting a good handle on it. I want to try again in the next week or 2.
Does Anyone have a printer.cfg file for the x1 with the waggster mod?
What board?
@@minimal3dp Hi! Thank you! SKR 1,.4 turbo tmc2209, i got a file from clanks50ae on github but when bed mesh calibration i get a "move out of range:2.000 305.000 10.000 [0.00]" any sugestions?
@@minimal3dp SKR 1.4 turbo tmc2209
I recently switched from cura to orca slicer and your videos have helped with the transition. So thank you for that. I have a VERY weird issue that I cannot figure out though. When I slice the volumetric flow test for my anycubic kobra 2 the straight lines are perfect but on all of the 180° bends there are gaps in the lines. It looks (in the preview) like it is literally stopping extrusion for short periods of time. Once the bend stops the gaps disappear and the layer is perfect. It doesn't do this with ANY of my other printers and I am baffled. Every other print is fine but I can't run the volumetric flow test for some reason.
Wow.. total junk... Tried to connect the sonic, and it first bricked my printer by incorrectly directing me to update the printer but not the display. Had to disassemble the display and manually flash it to unbrick the printer. The the printer would update. After all this the Sonic pad still will not connect. Creality should be ashamed for the piss poor products they ship.
What printer were you using?
Hello, THanks for this, can you make a video for Mainsail Adaptive Purging how to setup this.
Do you mean this project? Feel free to share a link. github.com/kyleisah/Klipper-Adaptive-Meshing-Purging
Hello, does the screen recognize you or not? I want to buy version 2.0, you have 3.0, it will be the same, right?
It did work. I think it will work for 2.0.
