If you are unemployed then choose unemployed. Which total amount of money are you talking about? The 1400 GBP was the amount I was intending on spending in uk. The 60 GBP was the amount of money I spend in my home country. The main purpose of the visit is taking the plab 2 exam. NOT the course. Please watch the video again and I'm sure you'll find the answers to your questions in the second watch.
Hey, My passport has incorrect mother's name on it and as you mentioned, we need to show who owns the house, and my mother owns it, but the house documents show the correct name. Is it anything that might interfere with my visa application or should I first correct my mother's name on my passport.
The online application bit completes online. No need to print and sign. For your documents upload you will need to print out the checklist and take it with you on the day of biometric verification. And you sign it there.
I don't remember if there is an option to do it handwritten. As far as I am aware the whole application is online. Might be worth calling the home office or your local visa processing centre to ask if it can be done hand written if you have any special needs.

Your wife would have to fill out her own application. She would additionally have to provide your details in the sponsor section. I heard back from UKVI in two weeks however these days I hear it's taking upto a month. Chances of getting a visa are very high if she meets all the requirements listed on gov.uk.

As a sponsor it is best to show the account that has the salary going into it monthly. However if that account is low on cash then you can additionally show your savings accounts as well. You just have to prove that you have a monthly income plus overall you have enough cash available to pay for your son's trip. Good luck!

Thank you for the video! Quick question: I live in China. But for winter vacay I’m in my home town Kyrgyzstan and planning to apply it from here for UK visa. For application i mentioned address my Kyrgyzstan address and that I lived here for 2 months since I live permanently in China. Then it showed me page of previous address for 2 years , when I feel my Chinese address there, I choose that I lived there since 2021 and 2024 currently living, but the system only allows put dates which is not current. So my question if I fill out application again can I mention my address as Chinese address even tho I apply from my home country Kyrgyzstan? Not sure if I asked clear or maybe you don’t know lol. But maybe someone willing share their experience
Your current residence address will determine where you apply from. If you are currently on vacation in Kyrgyzstan but your current residence is in China then it makes sense to apply from China. If you are currently living in Kyrgyzstan then it makes sense to apply from Kyrgyzstan. I would recommend being very careful about these details because you might face a rejection if things aren't clear in your application. Consult with a lawyer incase your circumstances are more complex than normal.
What happens after filling this online application form? Do we need to upload the documents online or submit later on to the visa office? After how many days can we set the date for biometrics post filling this form?
Once you submit the application you can either upload the documents yourself online or you can do it at the biometric appointment. Depends on which option you select. I got my biometric appointment for 4 days after submitting the online form. However I'm not sure how long its taking these days given the current international travel situation.

Hi. There is no fixed number. The general rule of thumb that most IMGs use is to have more than 3 times the amount you intend to spend in the UK. So for example if you plan to spend 2000 GBP on your PLAB 2 trip then you should show at least 6000 GBP in your account. But there really is no magic number. That's a common misconception. I wrote I was attending the academy and it was not a problem. I have dealt with this misconception in my video on "5 visa reasons why plab 2 visas get rejected".

Re: PLAB 2 Standard Visitor Visa 1- Can we apply with 3 months bank statement of Approx 3000 GBP + Fixed Assets (Saving Certificates 1000 GBP) + Stable Salaried Job and get the visa if we wish to show 10 days stay? 2- Can we show 10 days stay in visa application when actually we intended to stay for 2 months for Academy, Self Practice and Exam? Any future implications? (Although the visa is valid for 6 months)
1) Please be advised that a 2 month stay in the UK including the academy will cost you up to 2000 pounds. Please make sure you have at least thrice that amount in the bank readily available to reflect financial stability. These aren't fixed figures but they are just the rule of thumb that I and a lot of other successful visa applicants used. Ideally you should provide a 6 month bank statement. If you cannot do so then you will have to explain that in the cover letter. 2) If you are granted a 6 month visa then you are not bound by what you said in your original cover letter. You can legally remain in the UK for as long as your visa allows you to. That being said, I have had a friend who mentioned staying for only 10 days. They issued his visa literally 10 days before his exam. So if you are going to do something like this I would advise against it. Always be as honest as you can in your applications. I advocate openly mentioning about the academy and staying the whole two months. Hope this helped clarify things. Best of luck.

But briefly put, as evidence of financial sponsorship I gave bank statements, account maintenance certificates, letter of support/salary slip, tax returns, affidavit of financial support, and copy of passport of the sponsor. In case of spouse you should also submit a marriage registration certificate.

Correct your mother's name on your passport. It's very important to get these little mistakes corrected so as to avoid problems in the future.

The way I did it was I dated them according to the day I had them signed.

I'm not aware of how the tourist part of this visa would work. But generally every person needs to apply separately.
