Something about the valve music on a shovelhead that just can't be beat. That whirring sound, that tune sounds PERFECT!

    Beautiful ride , bro !
I’ve owned (6) shovels ; a few had the factory Zenith/Bendix carb . When you remove factory pipes , and add on exhaust with
( less ) back pressure , you may need to “ lean “ out the carb with a different “ main “ jet .
It’s easy to do , as it’s a big brass “ bolt “ style that screws into the bottom .
    The hardest part is -
“ guessing “ which jet you actually DO need .
This requires you purchasing perhaps a few main jets before you read the spark plugs after a few hours , and get that desired brown/tan color you are looking for .
I’ve read that there is an adjustable main jet that you can buy - but most people take the Bendix off and replace it with a traditional S&S .
What I prefer about the Bendix , is that I used to back - off on the idle screw at red lights in the morning as she warmed up , since the big headed idle screw was right there in the open .
And if that wasn’t convenient enough - the air / fuel mixture needle adjustment screw was a bigger brass screw right there as well , and after she warms up ; that too can be
“ fine tuned “ right there at the intersection when you get a
    “ fresh red light “ …
    Lol !
    Peace ☮️

I like what you have done so far ...that servo ft fork and 21 tire gives your bike that bobbed look. Nice ride 😀

Hey Ace...that front end is NOT from a Servicar; the Servicar was not adjustable, it was "fixed" at 35 degrees...although it looked really similar to the true "adjustable" feature. The Service trees did not have the slot to move the rake back and forth. Those trees are from a Side Car unit; where you CAN adjust the rake. Great looking ride, my friend.

Very nice scooter. Haven't seen a side shifter in a long time. My first Harley was a 58 Pan when I was 20. My first build had no front fender like yours. The first time I got caught in the rain I found out why you need a fender. Ride safe, ride long; you're never too old for two wheels.

Nice machine, and that's how riding should be, not blasting down the road with blaring stereo speakers.
I've got a box stock '72 ElectraGlide, and I enjoy the hell outta mine. 👍

I'm still in love with mine but it is a 1981 wide glide or while I am no expert i think that the proper name was FXWG. From memory but while it has had a few little problems over the years even when it got tired in the engine i still got to where I needed to go until I could afford a rebore and set of rings but still she has been proven to be a great family member.

That's one bruisin' cone Shovel! Leaving the frame as a swing arm/dual shock was a good move. America's roads are not getting any better. The only thing I'd change would be the left engine seal (stop that leak) and install some longer fork tubes (4 over). I dig the fork gaiters and the bar/riser combo. Ride safe.
