I agree so much with this, I think so many people get anxiety confused with feeling nervous. Feeling anxious because you're starting a new job/school or because you have a presentation isn't the same as having an anxiety disorder yet people will refer to that as an anxiety attack. I don't have anxiety disorder as a diagnosis but it's a symptom of my mental illness and it's hard not to get upset when it's so belittled and brushed over.

YES so agree with you on the point of not everyone has anxiety! these days especially the term anxiety is thrown around very loosely. i am so glad all your misconceptions were legit and actually personal and honest! im so sick of recycled garbage that doesn't apply to people with actual illnesses! by the way you always look so lovely , i always like your makeup xx

I really love this and agree with everything you've said. Thank you for helping me to feel better about myself, and not so alone. I also love how watching your videos makes me feel like I'm talking to a friend.
    Ideas for another video?
I would love to learn different coping skills and what you can do in the moment when you realise your anxiety is starting to spiral out of control. How do you calm yourself down? What works for you, and what different ideas can we try.

      what do you mean?

Its like... (I have anxiety btw) when I have a panic attack I frantically keep asking my parent stuff like 'can I sleep?' 'Can we watch a film?' anyway... you get the point. You obviously can help people before a full on attack but you just have to wait for it to pass. (for me anyway) I also feel like therapists and stuff say they are helping but it is all in everyones head. They arent doing anything but you are tricking yourself into thinking people are actually helping. This sounds like I am being a complete bummer and have just given up, but this theory helps me alot actually...because If all the therapy is in your head the anxiety is too right? I hope this makes sense =')

ahh it totally understand :) I actually agree the only thing other people can do is be supportive and not put pressure on you! My parents have learnt that after many years advice doesn't really help but them not putting pressure on me to do things helps a lot!

I have anxiety and paranoia I also suffer from depression because my anxiety stops me from doing stuff like going outside ,I've known I've had it since year 6 I just never knew what it was but through secondary school I knew what I was after talking to someone but I hid it from my parents I also hid my paranoia from them for 6-7 years because my "best friend" told me to only tell her she was one of the reasons why it got worse and she would purposely make my paranoia worse .
I'm not blaming her for it but I grew up with her and she used to hurt me as a kid physically and then when my parents found out she hurt me mentally , I literally feel like I'm a sandbag trapped in the sea ,I feel like every one in my family hates me because they never try and talk to me or they just shout at me when I'm having an anxiety attack they just keep saying to me I'm so dramatic .:/
