Actually MAC is capable of running ML & DL (Deep Learning). But main advantage of Graphics card is they were have special cores for machine learning. It's name is “KUDA CORES” (Nvidia RTX3050 has around 3000 cores in 90wTGP & 6000 cores in Max TGP graphics card). This cores are dedicated for machine learning & high level rendering only. Sure main advantage of Graphics card is OVERCLOCKING. This helps a lot. But I don't think so that MAC Neural Engine will be able give performance of graphics card memory. I m personally learning Machine Learning & Deep Neural Network (DL) form past 1 yr and I would suggest to go for Graphic card for better performance & faster training. I thought coding on VSC or in a python ide was a cpu intensive task. If it would have been a scenario of game development then we could have considered a good GPU like the ones you mentioned above.

This ARC gpu can playback cannon r5 h.265(HEVC) 10 bit 4.2.2 but rtx 3090 without support of Intel igpu cannot playback this footage. Thatswhy Intel media engines are best in the market.

Apple silicon isn't good for machine learning. You can train on that iGPU (using tensorflow or pytorch). Considering a reference model (basic CNN) M1/M2 will take 60-70s per epoch. contrary to that, A Nvidia 1650 or similar will take 10-15s per epoch. That neural Engine is only for inferencing which can be used by core ml only and is useless in most of the ML workflow. In short, M1 or M2 isn't for machine learning works. It is for marketing purposes only. If you want to build and run a machine learning model buy Nvidia. Don't buy if you are thinking about ML and DL. I am regretting buying one.

Bhai I5 12400 and arc 750 with 16gb ram in ₹65k price will easily beat this m2 mac mini in video editing because Intel igpu and arc GPU has excellent media engines. Arc 750 is also going great in 3d work and gaming after recent driver updates. I have seen video editing in these Intel GPUs is excellent. Scores don't matter for video editing. Only encoders and decoders matters with better ram. Arc GPU has better media engines than m2 mac mini.
