Videos like these are so important! Thanks for your contribution! :) These videos are really the first thing I watch before buying ANY product... get a look at how it's built inside, best quality indicator EVER! :) This to me is a proper review of a blender! AvE style ;)
Where the shaft enters the steel column there’s a black seal- I poked a cocktail stick up & cleared loads of debri. This freed the prop & works perfect. Worth a go as nothing to dismantle
This was super helpful! Our blade wasn't spinning very well so we pulled the small black gasket out and dug around. It was horrific. We ended up taking the whole thing apart to properly clean it but this comment helped us figure out the problem pretty quickly. Thank you!
Brilliant. Thanks just what I needed. Mine came with a cable with hard plastic insulation which has split by the stress relief after minimal use, the live/neutral wires are now visible and the next thing for the stress relief to wear through. Planning on replacing the cable before the insulation on those wires gets damaged too else there may be.
I have the same problem and am looking for someone to repair the unit since now the unit works only if I twist the cable at that connection a certain way. Have you been able to fix it?
@@rhitaakhardid5792 mine has not gone all the way through yet. I still plan to, but we not using it as frequently as we where, so now top of my to-do list
Thanks for this. I had a really hard time getting the plugs out until I had the idea to drive a screw into them and pull on that. This destroys the plug but the blender looks OK without them.
Such a shame that you destroyed your blender if you had googled general hand blender disassembly you would have possibly seen how they cover screws but then hindsight is a wonderful thing !!
Bob Wareham I know! Absolute waste. That's what compelled me to video the destruction, hoping it might prevent someone else from a similar fate. We'd done a fair bit of searching but only model specific, not more general search terms unfortunately.
Really? I think running correctly they are quite decent. Possibly there is food material inside the driveshaft tube or somewhere, preventing full speed... ? See @gilesbarker7414 comment below.
Thank you for the video, more than likely you just prevented me from destroying the one I’m trying to repair. Much appreciated.

At 0:39 you see the little plug? You need to use something like a knife to pick this out, which reveals a screw underneath.

This thing sucks and has no power.
