I love my job. I'm a consultant in Oregon. I could work for any Solar company but I chose this one because they share the same values I do. Blue Raven Solar cares. I have met Ben and he is just a great guy. He genuinely is trying to make a difference. We can save people money and we can make an impact for future generations. This is the most rewarding job I've ever had!
How do you sell the panels back because I I’m completely unhappy with them? I’m assuming that not a thing. It actually cost me more money because I still have a power bill in top of my payment…

Poor customer service for repairs!!! I’ve been waiting for almost a year for a new panel to replace the under underproducing panel and several service calls and still not fixed. They haven’t contacted be about anything. I always have to contact Blue Raven to find anything out!!! At this state I don’t recommend Blue Raven to anybody
I wouldn’t call it a pyramid because it’s backed up by government tax breaks for those who install it but yes, Blue Raven is basically entirely sales, and they outsource the installation to local electricians.
@@notanonymous6009 I agree with that. I just usually associate sales with pyramids :-) All I'm saying is their "electricians" that do the installs aren't always qualified. By qualified, I mean an individual that's completed a registered apprenticeship program as an electrician. Sure, someone at the electrical contractor has the proper certification, but not always the installer in the field. The installer should always be capable of verifying the necessary load calculations for the service and installing it to current NEC (National Electrical Code) standards. For instance, it's a major safety concern to have inadequate grounding and bonding on these systems where humans and pets might come in contact with. Not to mention the proper installation of rapid shut down devices to prevent backfeeding during a power outage. And no, the electrical inspector can't catch everything. If you want solar on your residence or business, you should simply contact an electrical contractor and skip the middle man. They're the ones that have the experience to install solar safely. And if you believe in a fair wage (ie; making the world better, make a difference, values, etc) , it should also be a union contractor that provides fair wages and benefits to their electricians, not someone that answered an ad one day, then twisting wires the next. All of that being said, I totally believe in the solar industry and it's potential to provide clean energy while also providing good jobs. I just worry that the qualified electrician is being completely overlooked and it'll bring bad things to the solar industry as systems begin to age and the poor craftsmanship creates negative reviews and headlines.
