The Westerns just keep on coming! That Stockman is incredible. Considering it's age there is little to no wear on the blades and the bone looks fantastic. I really like 4" size Stockmans when not doing any really heavy work. Definitely a keeper!

Awesome Western collection. I’m gonna have to ask Pete to share his Western collection I recently seen a beautiful piece on Clark’s Kentucky knives he had a really nice lock back swell center knife . Beautiful knife BigJ. The Premium line of Western 4" stockmans included the 742 as you show here as an excellent example, the 743 with the longer spey blade, and the 744, 745, 746 (with various spey blade lengths) the latter three include a healthy punch blade instead of a sheepsfoot blade. The 742 was the most popular by far and the only one to survive the 1960's making the others much harder to find. Great job on the cleanup BigJ. Thanks for showing a quality vintage knife.
