Hulk is massive in this version; there is no way he's 800 pounds. He's got to be at least 10 or 12 feet and 2,000+ pounds. Can't wait till he fights more formidable monsters. Brother Deep was underwhelming by how easily Hulk killed him.
brother deep was a warm up set. We just saw the high nitro hulk smash stuff in the cates run, not that I dislike that at all. But if you were to tell me that the first monster he came across could push him I'd be pretty damn skeptical. There should be a good 1 or 2 monsters in his way that should be able to match him because Earth can't help but host the most stupidly strong things in the universe. Hulk just happens to be one of them.
I agree. While I didn't expect Brother Deep to beat him, I did expect something that looks borderline Eldritch should have provided more of a challenge. Maybe get a few good hits in, not just getting manhandled.

In the last run Hulk took down a L6 and a L10 Titan both times in seconds , when he wants to its over fast - other times he likes to have fun n enjoy the battle.
Theres a huge text page at the end of this book that tells the story of Udru, aka The Eldest aka Brother Deep, Mother of Horrors, and why Brother Deep was created to be a better version of the One Above All.
Correct, Not only that, It tells us a lot of interesting info's: 1- the Mother of Horrors was the only creator that was not created by TOAA. 2- the TOAA didn't knew about her and her creation until later. 3- She hid Earth from the TOAA 4- It kind of indicates that because of the mockery's image he saw in Udru, he turned into the TOBA. in a sense, it could be said that because of the Mother of Horrors, that TOBA was born.
Even at his absolute most pissed, even at his lowest point. Even as the Full Blown Worldbreaker. He ALWAYS does what he can to help other people if he sees it. he never just outright murders civilians, and even on accident he's shown to feel tremendous guilt for it if and when it *does* happen. I'm glad this story seems to be saying that Bruce is just as much in the wrong about Hulk's intentions as Hulk is about Bruce's. Hopefully this story ends with him being in the same place he was in at the end of Immortal Hulk, cause thanks to Donny we never saw that Happy Co-Existence go anywhere.

I'm enjoying the writing and LOVING the art on this new run! Good to see the back of 'Smashtronaut', which did nothing but cr*p all over the legacy of Ewing's Immortal Hulk. This, on the other hand, looks to build on the lore very nicely. And what's not to love about Hulk whaling the tar out of giant monsters? I'm also liking the fact that Hulk is on the warpath against Banner - he mentioned something about Betty, but I feel this is some payback for the sheer abuse Banner put him through during the Kates run. I'm here for it.
This type of storyline is how the MCU could make a successful series for Disney+. Brother Deep had a bad case of acid reflux but our Big Green Guy fixed it for him 😂

People forget that this new Savage Hulk, is all previous separated personas combined. Only Hulk & Banner, *And the Hulk is (Nearly) stronger* than ever More powerful than Starship, Immortal, Guilt, & Green Scar. Because he is all of the above *Love this run!* ❤
As far as I know of there has never been a time that the Hulk has separated from Banner and something good comes from it. When Banner goes too long without changing he damn near becomes an evil scientist. When the Hulk does change he either goes complete savage or Maestro. Let's not forget World Breaker Hulk when both of them decide to lets break stuff. But the meat of the story is how? Hulk knows people, but those people also know he and Banner need to be together. Also is he just talking Banner or is he going to release everyone? Joe Fixit, Kluh, Titan, and the others. What's really going to happen. Just hoping it's not going to be new creature feature every other month. Hoping some of the other villains and allies show up.

Charlie is low key being setup as a powder keg / reflection on power and proportional response. Going through all she’s gone through, wearing a Captain America backpack, and idolizing strength - that’s a setup with a lot of potential payouts. If she loses that backpack, watch out.

I like that the One Above All has enemies, that ties to the One Below All as well, so the Hulk takes on a feud he has no idea about for once did not make himself through his own trials. Poor Banner he has to live like a vagrant never resting all because of one gamma testing gone wrong. Of course, I do not like in same ways the Hulk seems to have bonded to Banner; not emerged from Banner as a result of the experiment. Good story so far, I hope the others to come are not as weak as Brother Deep.

Heck, even when the Hulk was on a war path against the Illuminati he didn't kill a single person, electing to even let those who he perceived had killed his family live in shame after forcing them to fight.

I love to find out Tammuz put the deep, in Brother Deep's deep hole... Charley is interesting. Side kicks can become great heroes in there own right of frightening villain's. And Charley manages to high wire balance this soo perfectly. So to watch what happens with her will be fun... though I also don't mind it when someone like Axelle from Cosmic Ghost Rider: Vol 2 (Part 5) is introduced and then you have to turn back and asked what happened... but you know I'm going to be turning back the pages to check on what Charley was doing to... and its soo much more clear someone wants Charley to make some gains.... Where with Axelle it feel like they cheaply thought the end together. Though... the most interesting thing is still the Hulk.. and how is so done with Bruce. I can feel it.. he Hulk is going to reach deep inside of himself... find out where Bruce is living inside him, grab a hold of those Bruce glands and tear them out... he is then going to smash them, crush them, throw them on the ground, and stop around on them for 5 or 10 minutes and maybe even defecate on what is left..... that is how done the big green man is with Banner. I've many mixed feelings. This isn't a fun sidekick of old, it's a damaged girl learning from a damaged Hulk and I don't know how I feel about that. I don't really like cruel Hulk. If I were Banner I'd use every resource, friend, and ounce of intelligence to fight back. Hulk can't hear Banner thoughts or Banner would hear Hulk telling the kid to sabotage Banner. No idea why Banner is going to let her be anywhere near him in any case. I like the art and back to basics aspects of the story. I have a feeling the One That Is All used the green door aspect to imprison old gods, living entities that got too big for their britches, and they have grudge against that aspect, first taking out what took them out before they look at the larger entities. I'm interested in seeing where this all leads. But someone should tell her the luck that befalls Hulk's sidekicks. I have bad feels already.

The Eldest isn't Urdru/Brother Deep, it's that lady from the 1st issue. But ya, the last page was dope & well written!

If I were Banner I'd use every resource, friend, and ounce of intelligence to fight back. Hulk can't hear Banner thoughts or Banner would hear Hulk telling the kid to sabotage Banner. No idea why Banner is going to let her be anywhere near him in any case.
I like the art and back to basics aspects of the story. I have a feeling the One That Is All used the green door aspect to imprison old gods, living entities that got too big for their britches, and they have grudge against that aspect, first taking out what took them out before they look at the larger entities. I'm interested in seeing where this all leads. But someone should tell her the luck that befalls Hulk's sidekicks. I have bad feels already.
