As someone who is in a military family I can tell you your family history does not help you rise through the ranks. It can help garner a good first impression but you have got to move through the ranks in the military on your own merits. At least in the branches of the marines and the Air Force, where my family mostly went

Military promotion from lieutenant through colonel are based on a variety of factors, including their performance, time in service, and willingness to take on responsibility. Which are leadership roles, during peace and war time. Also their individual skill set and training. The requirements and criteria for each promotion vary by branch and military job.
Retired military here.. that doesn't necessarily work in the Air Force but who knows... The military and Civilian world are not that different, but very different at the same time.
If you mean, the part about being able to raise rank easier, I think it’s true. For example, your kids, if you have them will be much more used to military life such as around or deployments. Wearing a uniform being on time.Etc

Maybe to a permanent duty station, but there’s still restrictions to that as well. Merely knowing how the military works doesn’t mean you’re a shoe in for promotion. Time in grade and time in service are the two main aspects of promotion.

BUT I USED TO LIKE ERIC BANA'S HULK RELIGIOUSLY....but it was very Convoluted after looking at ED Norton's. And Eric Bana's Hulk was EXTREMELY TOO MASSIVE but the action sequences were better.

I wish Marvel or DC would do one low print run of a book in the same style they did in the 60's. Where you can see the pixelation in the print, low quality stock, and white gradients in the colors and inks. I love the old school print.
That full tearful goodbye to his daughter, acceptance that Banner was a good man? Reconciliation and redemption? Turns out none of it was real... Frankly, Red Hulk being "super sweet" doesn't really make up for that level of retcon.
If your a gamer at heart and are interested in learning some additional information on the hulk I would highly recommend digging up a copy of hulk ultimate destruction for the ps2 probably not the easiest thing to get ahold of these days but it's beyond worth it it was such a good game for its time

From what I understand from friends who were in the military, both Canadian and US, nepotism is rare and often has the opposite effect. Favoritism still exists, and so does general corruption, but that's not the same thing as nepotism. The military is such a huge body with so many moving parts that gaining enough influence to move things around just for a family member is pretty difficult. You have military families with sons and daughters that end up serving, but you also get ones where the kids don't go into the military at all. The military in general really hammers home the idea of earning your own way through the ranks, and rewarding actual ability over heritage. I'm not saying there isn't, but nepotism was WAY more of a thing in older militaries, and often to the detriment of the entire army. The old style of military suffered a lot of command problems because of nepotism, so many modern militaries try NOT to have it. But things still happen of course. Humans are still humans

Red hulk can lift over 100 tons, has super human stamina/ durability, and regenerates. The falcon doesn’t even have the super serum. I’m not even rewatching that trailer. Thunderbolts looks good though hopefully they don’t mess that up.

I can tell you Rob that if you had family in the army in the UK, then it most certainly wasn’t easier to climb the ranks. It was much much harder, especially if your parents or grandparents had risen to any high ranks in the army. You had to work harder to get out of the shadow your predecessors had before you could even forge your own path.

Hulk was really Jack Kirby's idea an Stan lee just rolled with the concept.. Same as he's done with the creations of Steve ditko
