The worst is that manipulative girlfriend who convince good guys to kill for them existe in reality... Very touching. Love it. Makes me shake my head when they compare Dettlaff to Syanna and either call them equally 'evil' or claim he's even worse and deserves to die, while she deserves to live.

Good point and interesting vision of BaW's story. I think the same as you about the spirale of violence and hatred. BaW is a good representation of the Curse of the Black Sun which is for me a fascinating topic to think about. Human nature and condition are something really complex and hazy. All is grey ^^. I really like the resemblance with the short story "The Lesser Evil" with Renfri who reminds me a lot of Syanna. I understand you when you said that this story is not simply the classic Good vs. Evil :). CD Projekt did a great job with the writing. For example, I like when Syanna said that Dettlaff never kills innocent people and then she dies by his hand ultimately if you let her going full monster without the remembrance of the "good" person she was. I love the idea that each actions have consequences. Thank you my friend for your comment :).
its nice to have someone that understands my point of view on this i have had people tell me that the way i saw it was stupid. also i forgot to put this in the first comment but there is a way to stop the cycle of violence. that is both very tragic and .....hopeful.....im not sure if that is the word i would use but its the only one that comes to mind. That way is to save Sylvia and kill Dettlaff. By killing Dettlaff you cut off the cycle at that step so he cant continue the trend and i have no dout that he would he already showed he would when he attacked Beauclair just to force your hand killing Sylvia wouldnt be the end of that at least i dont think so. By saving Sylvia you cant hopfully and it you do it right show her the error of her ways and get her to forgive her sister atleast enough to give her sister a chance and cut of the cylcle right there in two ways . one you got rid of the newest link in the chain in Dettlaff wich is as tragic as it comes for he was just as much a victim as anyone and you make the person that was already neck deep in cycle to see how wrong she was by both talking her down and her sister telling her to her face that she was wrong in not standing up for her when she was thrown out. Thus allowing Sylvia to break her chains to the cycle for that moment long enough to forgive and be set free her self for it all at least thats how i see it. im sorry if this was to long but i tend to overthink these thing at times
Thanks for your long comment :). Always a pleasure to know your point of view on BaW :). I also think that saving Syanna and killing Dettlaff is the only way to stop the cycle of violence because we know that there is no turning back for Dettlaff. He's gone too far by attacking Beauclair. As long as he lives among men, he will suffer and represents a potential threat for human society even if I think he deserves to live in peace. His strong emotions can be threats to others and to himself... Poor vampire :/.
What a tragic character...I just couldn't kill him in the end. He was but a victim of the true monster. Dettlaff might look like a monster but inside he wasn't evil, he was emotional and kind and for a higher being - that is simply admiring. While Syanna on the other hand, looked like a beautiful lady from the outside but from the inside she was the ugliest monster. Moral of the story is that not everyone who looks like a monster is truly a monster and not everyone who looks like a normal person isn't one. Looks can be deceiving, as Regis implied.
Thanks man for your comment :). You made a good point about the moral of the story. I agree with you that looks can be deceiving. The BaW's story tends to show the nature of a monster. It's the one who choose to abandon himself/herself to the basest instincts and emotions.
Thank you so much for such great and on point Witcher tribute videos, mate! They are, without a doubt, the best Witcher character tribute videos I've ever seen. You're doing such a great work, keep it up!!!
You're very welcome and thank you very much for your compliment :). If you like TW3 characters tributes, you can also check Larvayne Yuno's tributes, they are awesome! :)
Even then its hard to simply label Syanna as a monster. She was an extremely damaged woman that was treated like a freak from the day she was born, she grew up knowing being told that she was an evil cursed child...her family abandoned her and she was thrown out, beaten, and left for dead. Look at it this way, if she was the player character we would be rooting for her to get revenge. This is what makes The Witcher so good, its in the characters, nothing is black and white
+theGamerThing Does having a tragic past allow her to manipulate people that love her and cause deaths? She's the definition of a psychopath / serial killer. Most of them had abusive childhood and ended up murdering people. I have zero sympathy for her as well as a lot of other Witcher 3 fans. If there's one thing the Witcher 3 devs failed at, that thing is trying to make Syanna look sympathizing.
+Jaykinsy I know, I felt really sorry for him :( But I think it's the best for him and for all others that he dies at the end, because he couldn't handle his life any more...
I know what you mean. How can he live in peace anymore in human society after all he's been through and have done to Beauclair ? For me, Death is not the solution. He deserves to leave and find a new place that deserves him unless you mean paradise is that place :p.
+Jaykinsy Yes, leaving and living happily in another place would be the best to him... But to be honest it would be to much of a happy ending for the quite dark World of The Witcher :b
Great video! So touching... And the choice of the song is perfect :) Thank you! I let Dettlaff kill Syanna and then let him go... Just because I could never let Regis suffer for killing someone so important to him. He is the only person in the whole DLC who doesn't deserve to suffer for anything. No ending can be considered even remotely happy if it comes to that because then it has no justice. Also Dettlaff is a real victim here, poor vampire never expected human women could be so trecherous =)
Thank you for your compliment Anastasia :). It's all a matter of perspective in how we see things. If we fight only for Anna Henrietta and Beauclair's people, killing Dettlaff is considered as a good thing but if we know all the story behind the rage of Dettlaff we can naturally start to doubt about the bright side of this. I like BaW's story for that because it leads us to question ourselves about the world, notion of right and wrong. Syanna is a good representation of what a human can do when he let his basic instincts take over.
I do understand why people think Dettlaff must die for all those people he killed. And yes I agree it was horrible. But even so... I consider letting him go and killing Syanna a lesser evil. A thing Geralt always tried to choose in the books. There is no perfect solution, but I simply cannot understand how letting Syanna to get away with everything that's happened because of her is a preferable choice... She was the one who started all this and thus why so many people died. The whole "let's just hug and forget everything" situation is really unfair and fake=) As for Anna Henrietta, she really should be gratefull since she was the last target on Syanna's list. I'm sure she'll come around eventually. Your video provoked me to express my thoughts, I'm sorry :) I know it's just a fictional story and maybe should not be taken so seriously, but it just makes you think and sympathize with its characters.
I did the same. choosing the "less evil", and I too love Regis so much that I want to do everything I can to make his life better. Il spoiled myself before playing and I watch that ending where all three of them (dettlaff, syanna and anna are dead) I wanted to avoid that ending as much as possible. But there is one thing, I fear that Dettlaff won't learn from that. he'l almost 500y old if not a little more, by that time a lot of higher vampires have learn how humans are (speaking of that, i think whey all did! all except him!) . So.. syanna is a bitch, I know she suffered but she CHOOSE to do evil, She the only one that had the choice! Dettlaff was forced, blackmail to do that. Add my fear of seeing Regis sad again and Bam, you have the vilain of the story. Now geralt must not drop the soap while waiting for dandelion but still, I thing that's the best ending. (also did the ending with witcheress ciri =) ) (sorry for my poor english, Hi from a place in France that looks Exactly like toussain.)
Don't be sorry for expressing your thoughts :). I'm glad you did. This comment section is made for that after all. The first time I finished I got the worst ending, everybody were dead XD So yeah Syanna was ready to kill her own sister... except if you chose to help her. The help she never got from anyone before... All other endings look like happy endings for me after my first experience of BaW ^^. At first, I thought the ending where Anna and Syanna eventually hug each other happy and alive was the only good ending. It is in itself but when we stepback and look deeper, we find that it is more complicated. Dettlaff is an interesting character because he gives an another dimension to the story. Appareances can be deceiving. The monster is not necessarily the beast... Overtime time, I learned to appreciate more the ending where Dettlaff is alive. The guy deserves to live more than Syanna if we have to choose. It's a lesser evil indeed. We agree on that :). I know a lot of people hate Syanna but I don't share that hate for her. I don't know why... She did bad things and became a cruel person even a true monster and of course I disapprove her path for vengeance but still.. I feel some sadness for her. The whole story of BaW is not about good vs. evil but only about human nature, choices and their consequences. It's a fictional story indeed but it's always interesting to think of it and try to understand why we love or hate it. It can help to know what kind of person we are.
Is funny how people miss these little details that show beyond doubt how letting Dettlaff go is the wisest choice Geralt could make. Firstly, Syanna was fully aware of her actions and their possible consequences. Deserved to die. Ignorant fools say Dettlaff proved to be a threat to mankind and thus had to be put down. But he truly wanted just the lass. "Go far away, far from men" and "I shall keep my distance, believe you me", he really meant these. The catch however, is what these Bruxae say to Regis if he kills Dettlaff "The Unseen will never forget.." I think that if you kill Dettlaff, his Bruxae mates will eventually plead Unseen to avenge him, something he can easily do. Unseen would then become the real threat and he cannot be stopped. Could easily punish humans in a manner that would make the night of long fangs pale in comparison. Dettlaff's beloved by his kind, and since he gives Geralt the chance to part peacefully, the sensible choice is to avoiding the possible ire of his brethren and give cause to a vendetta between species.
Thanks for taking the time to write your comment :). Appreciate you shared your point of view down here :). One of the themes of BaW is the vicious circle of hatred and violence. So I agree with you that letting Dettlaff go is the wisest choice for the sake of the two species. Someone or something has to break that circle. You made a good point. The Unseen as the true final boss of Baw would have been amazing. A great idea even if I cannot imagine how our heroes and the men would defeat him ^^.
You 're welcome :) B&W is great source material and your making this tribute shows you have good taste, keep it up! I would also add that this letter of Regis that you can find in his hideout ends with this; "I have a feeling that my friend Dettlaff will die. I am sad." This premonition shouldn't come to pass, for Regis's sake too
Thanks for your compliment :). To be honest, before reading you, I was convinced that killing Dettlaff would be the only thing that could put an end to that vicious circle but I forgot that he was a man of his words and that you can trust him when he says that he will keep his distance from men.
Your tribute video (regis and this one) are the best i've seen so far. I love to let them replay all day. Good music choise, scenes selection, story. Congratz =)
I wish my code hadn't led me to kill him. I related to him so hard. Then again, don't we all get horribly betrayed/used by someone very loved at some point? I sure as hell hope not everyone, but those of us who have know damn well how Dettlaff felt and why he reacted the way he did. The circumstance isn't even that a friend or lover betrayed him in a given moment, that's forgivable (not easily though), but that he got played from the start. It was all pure deceit. Then, he finds himself a true friend, and kills him for the sake of his loved one, only to find out he was the real friend, and the loved one was a filthy manipulator. But my role as a player there was as a Witcher, and as a Witcher, I must stop the monsters from killing innocents, regardless of their reasons or motives. It had to be done. I still feel like ass about it, but it just had to be done. Damn. The Witcher is art, man.
@@jaykinsy Yes, they gave Syanna more screentime and a chance to "explain her reason", not like I believed it, but Dettlaff just got framed as the bad guy right off the bat. (No pun intended)
@@jcksparrowfan Thats intended in my opinion. Noone in witcher's world have the peaceful tendencies such as 'listening the reasons of creatures they labeled as monsters'. Key scene was where Anna Henrietta sitting and having a joyous chat with Dettlaff, without actually knowing he is the murderer or a higher vampire. It was near perfect in my opinion. You needed to render how guilty Dettlaff is for his actions, from Syanna's dialogues, and Regis's descriptions.
Your video is great, congrat. :). But I never seen that scene before, when Dettlaff and Regis stand together in toy shop (2:36 scene example and maybe 0:50). Is it a "montage" scene, or real scene? If real, when happened it? Can you help me?
Hello again. :) Can you help me, which mod you used? I tried to find it, but I couldn't. (I didn't see Dettlaff to Geralt it in the subscribes) I want to try it. Thx!
Thanks RyukaMoon :). I just used a mod that replace the skin of Geralt with Dettlaf's during the cutscene where Geralt and Regis visit the toys store together ;).
Dettlaff for ever !!!
Syanna deserved (although it's extreme), she was monstrous, she killed the innocent people, she offended Detlaff in the worst possible way - forcing him to murder / but I think I could love him, there was something beautiful about him - maybe that he was fixing toys for children, or maybe it was my empathy and an act of mercy over a wild creature, I would give him my ribbon (Medieval way) and I would say that I can love him, maybe it would help him
Yeah Dettlaff is a complex character for sure and that's interesting that he makes people think about their own feelings and question their vision of morality, etc.
@@jaykinsy (sorry for long comment :) I know what you mean, with Detlaff, of course, there are problems because he is socially maladjusted (I would not mind because I am an introvert) he is right because he was cruelly betrayed by this woman (that it was sex or something, but she made him a murderer) his behavior is definitely difficult when he attacks the city (I am a human so I have to side with the treacherous people and support them) but remember that Detlaff is a vampire and has a different concept of morality, you cannot judge him as a human but as a vampire (he saved people earlier by killing a monster that killed 200 people, also repaired children's toys) that he killed those people on the list is not strange (wouldn't a man do the same to protect loved ones? remember that we have the Middle Ages here), only the attack on the city was terrifying, I fought with my feelings. ..my mind said love Regis (this is an exception) but my heart said love and help save soul Detlaff . // The morality of vampires is different from the morality of people but ... about morality - 1. we remember bruxa Orianna when she ran a house for children, she fed on them but did not kill them, she fed them, their rooms were well equipped and the tables were filled with grapes and meat, was she doing wrong? Yes, but it did help, my question is why the children in the kingdom Anna Henerietta (human) were hungry) 2.Detlaff was not aggressive, he met a woman, fell in love, and was loyal and she (human) betrayed him and calmly made him a murderer. Syanna told Geralt that Detlaff does not love like a human, but like an animal - it made me think ... so I would tie my ribbon on his hand and say that I love him, I wonder how he would react, but I think (by presenting a psychological profile) that an attack on the city would be finished, I would mention myself for a city, and I am sure that I would do a good deal not only for the city but also for myself ... because what Syanna considered wildness and weakness I consider power
@@sr.AnnaOnline Oh that's a long comment indeed lol. It deserves a proper response ^^. I will answer you with pleasure when I can ;). I appreciate you took the time to write me this; beside it looks interesting :)
@@sr.AnnaOnline I understand your arguments about Detlaff. You don't have to justify your love for Detlaff ^^. I think a lot of people think as you do and it feels normal for me. He's an ambivalent character and that makes him such a good character because he's not the simple villain or monster who wants to destroy and kill the "good" guys. He reminds us that there's no such things as good or bad sides. Just perspectives. By his nature and actions, Detlaff makes us question ourselves. That's what I love the most about this character because we as humans with our imperfections we can identify to him so easily... Vampires are differents from humans ofc but they share some characteristics such as feelings and emotions. That's logic that Detlaff reacts like he did especially if he's unbalanced when it comes to his feelings and emotions. That being said, who in this world can pretend to be well balanced and perfect ? There are some consequences when you break the heart of a vampire after all. The consequences are just more significant obviously. I think the point of the story of Blood and Wine is to show how far the cycle of violence can go when hate and resentment leads it. We know that human's feelings or desires can be unlimited for better or for worse until you choose to stop them one way or another. Like in the books and the rest of the game, all this tragic story shows well that the human world is a terrifying place to be. How strong and powerful vampire he is , Dettlaf is just a victim of that and he fell in Syanna's trap because he fell in love. So sad to see that love is the source of the evil in this story. But love and hate are just the two sides of the same coin. BaW shows that things is not that simple (like Syanna said before she gets killed by Detlaff), not black or white. Sometimes things have a double nature. Being in love with someone can be firstly a selfish feeling, being kind and good doesn't necessary mean that you are totally selfless (your example with Orianna is relevant about it). As a player/spectator of the game, we have a whole picture of the story with all his imbrications. The characters don't. I think we can't judge them because in their position we would probably not do better maybe we would do even worse. That's why I totally understand Detlaff and also have pity for him. No one deserves what he lived with Syanna at the end. At the same time, pillorying Syanna goes against my vision about Detlaff. If I pity him because he's a victim. I also have to feel pity for Syanna because she's also a victim of this world. All of that is part of the endless cycle of violence. I like your last sentences because I share that vision. You remind me of Regis's past when he decided to not drink blood anymore after he getting killed by scared and revengeful peasants. That's a good representation of the wisdom. Dettlack was wild and untamed, Regis is his opposite. His peaceful spirit and intellect guide him. Detlaff needs someone like Regis and that makes the idea that this two vampires has to leave Toussaint for their sake pretty satisfying. Regis is a perfect example that everyone can learn from Life, their own mistakes and can do their best to be the more "balanced" person they can be. The world would be a better place to live if there were more persons like him.
@@jaykinsy thank you for your comment as for love , people complement each other I'm like Regis but I need Detlaff to be like Regis well, the truth is that Detlaff is very emotionality unbalanced, wildly but he is loyal and I am more than 100% that he would not abandon me I also think that because Im calm, I could soothe him maybe because Im nurse :)
Love dettlaff so much... and I love your tribute!!! I want to share your video on my local websites, let more fans appreciate your video, can I get your authorization?
Jaykinsy I also love your other witcher series video!!! I want to transport your "the witcher 3 heros" video series to a Chinese video website called bilibili.com for non commercial use, can I get your authorization?
We probably will never have such a game (even if it could be interesting for the fans of Dettlaff to know more of him). Luckily, what we have is already great :).
...I hate you ...why do you have to make such a heart-breaking song for Dettlaff? God, where are the mountains of tissue when you need them? T-T I think it is saddening that there are no true happy ending for the Blood and Wine, not one where everyone could live happily ever after. I mean I could understand where Syanna's hatred towards her own sister comes from, but I really could not find it in myself to forgive her, because her actions have brought too many innocent victims into her plot for revenge. Besides, Dettlaff is not a complete horrible person if one actually spends time to ask for more information about him. Seeing that he has hunted down a fiend that has killed a boy he met in passing who has done nothing more than giving him an apple, he shows great remorse when he kills De la Croix and even cut off the hand that has taken the life of the man who has done something selfless for him, and despite having told Syanna that she has only three days to head to Tesham Mutna, he has given them a bit more time to consider their choice (a whole week from what I gather from Geralt and Henrietta's conversation) before he has unleashed the hoard of vampires he has gathered. He is simply someone who repays others' kindness and bring swift retribution to those who have wronged him. He made sure that Syanna's death is quick and painless, instead of making her suffer for she has put him through. Seriously, cursed CD Projekt RED whoever it is who made the whole plot for Blood and Wine. If you kill Dettlaff and Syanna is alive, there are two outcomes: One, you didn't follow the final clue of the murder mystery, and she kills Anna Henrietta out of spite before she dies as well. Two, you find the last clue and talk her out of her stupid idea and the two sisters who are both annoying and sometimes difficult to find pity for them at times can finally rejoiced. BUT THIS WHOLE ORDEAL HAS REGIS BEING MARKED AS A TRAITOR AND HE WILL SUFFER THE CONSEQUENCE OF TAKING DETTLAFF'S LIFE FOR THE REST OF HIS EXISTENCE! LIKE FOR THE REST OF ETERNITY! So really, no matter how I look at it, I still think that letting Syanna dies is the lesser evil deed that Geralt could commit, because the pros far out-weight the cons. I mean, it's not like her death is going to affect a lot of people. The people of Beauclaire don't care as long that someone has paid for the crime while the Duchy's councillors will be pleased that there won't be another person after the Duchess. At most Dettlaff might mourn for her for a century and carry the emotional scar from her betrayal for the rest of his existence. As for Anna Henrietta, she could cry and scream all she wants, part of me always think, "You didn't even bloody care if Syanna is around until you've heard that she might be involved in this. And seriously, when you think about it, this whole mess could have been prevented if you have bloody searched for her when you've been crowned as Duchess, but NO, you didn't. When Dettlaff has given you time to just bring Syanna for a talk, you've only been bitching and saying how disappointed you are in Geralt's lack of progress. It's not like you are doing anything productive while the Witcher is actually doing his job and Dettlaff has given you more than enough time and warning before he actually unleashed his vampires on Beauclaire." Technically speaking, the damages Syanna has done will be over within a century if she dies while the other choice will condemn a good man, well a good higher vampire, to a fate that is worse than death. *Taking a deep breath.* Sorry, the whole video has brought up this whole inner turmoil that has been plaguing me since I've finished Blood and Wine. I apologize for this whole ranting and I will delete it if you find it too bothersome.
Your comment doesn't bother me at all. I really appreciate you took your time to write this long text to share your point of view about the story of BaW. BaW's story keep the same spirit from the books. Nothing never ends really well. There's no such thing that a happy ending. Thanks for giving us your opinion, you made some interesting points.
Well, yes. This especially reminds me of the irony of Dettlaff's reply after he asked you how many innocent have you slaughtered and you chose none but murderers. "I intend to live. Happily ever after." Tragic, just tragic. But I guess I should have expected it as well, I mean in the Baptism of Fire, almost everyone in Geralt's group is killed and he ends being knighted, but it's a bitter victory. Much like the supposed Good Ending of Blood and Wine, Geralt gets recognition from the nobles, but he has destroyed two good persons' life to achieve this. And thank you for reading and not finding my comment too bothersome, a lot of people has demanded why I have wrote a novel in a UA-cam commentary section more than once.
Even though a higher vampire can only be killed by another higher vampire, could Gaunter O'Dimm kill Dettlaff as we don't know what kind of monster he is?
Sure that he's broken inside but the poor guy remains unbroken outside no matter what he tries to do to himself. I find this contradiction interesting.
Dettlaff's story is so sad... He's the real victim of Blood and Wine.
Very true.
Well, even Olgierd and Iris's story is very emotional...

Yeah, the two expansions of TW3 involve love stories that go wrong ^^.
@The Bone in some sense Olgierd wanted it, Dettlaf didn't wanted this shit :(
Naaah... he was kind of an asshole. I had my romantic dissapointments my self, never tried to wiped out an entire city because of it, though.

Look 1:14 actually you can realize how humble is he , i realized that hes the real victim
Man there is always this person cutting onions nearby me when i watch this video......😭
Thanks for this masterpiece ❤️
Lol ^^ You're welcome and thanks for your compliment! :)
plenty of onions being cut here too... and even more when I watch a Regis tribute video from Jaykinsy. Strange coincidences, really... ;)
You really captured the tragedy in Dettlaff's Story. Keep on with the good work! :)
Thanks Commander! :)
Poor Dettlaff, that could only happen to good guys... :(
+Jaykinsy I know, I felt really sorry for him :(
But I think it's the best for him and for all others that he dies at the end, because he couldn't handle his life any more...
Commander AS You know that this kind of stories never end well unfortunately ^^.
The whole "let's just hug and forget everything" situation is really unfair and fake=)
As for Anna Henrietta, she really should be gratefull since she was the last target on Syanna's list.
Cool ! Un français ;)
Merci d'avoir partagé également ton avis :).
Congratz =)
Thanks Raigho! :)
Omg, you're absolutely the best at making tribute videos :)
Thank you Synthia but that's too much! ^^
Dettlaff, the best! Thanks
You're welcome :).
Good work! When I listen this, I remember why i love the witcher series so much. :)
Thanks dude! :)
You seem to have summed up the genius of BaW's story perfectly ;).
Wtf!!!! This is just amazing. Really great video mate, i don´t no what to say. Just unbelievable....
I'm glad that you like it my friend :).
Another insane tribute. Thank you, Jaykinsy!
Thanks dude! :)
I always let detlaff live, hes such a good person used by a bitter woman
Amazing GMV
Thanks :)
I'm gonna go cry now
So Beautiful... so sad...
Thanks Ardeyen ^^.
Это божественно! / its heavenly!
Thanks :)
yes another amazing upload
Thank you! :)
Lovely, well put together!
Actually it's Geralt who appears in that scene in the game. I just used a mod to replace him by Dettlaff ^^. And thank you! :)
I Love Dettlaff so much, his Story makes me so sad i wish i can Hug him 💙
Sure that he didn't deserve all of that.. :/.
As much as I'd like to do that too, I'd be kind of scared of a vampire's reaction after hugging him... XD
I know what you mean... ^^.
@@jaykinsy Knowing me and my tender heart for those betrayed, I'd still go for it and hope I won't die.
I don't think Dettlaff would have killed you if you would have hugged him ^^. He's not one of those heartless monsters.
The one regret in Blood & Wine is how they handled Dettlaf in "Night of LOng Fangs", he deserved better.
By that you mean how they treated him as if he was just a bad person ? If that's what you meant, I agree with you.
Thanks nehem :).
It's not a real scene. I used a mod to replace Geralt's model by Dettlaff's :).
Thanks your answer. I hoped, that I can explore more scene. I will be happy, if Dettlaff and Regis would have their own game.
Hello again. :) Can you help me, which mod you used? I tried to find it, but I couldn't. (I didn't see Dettlaff to Geralt it in the subscribes) I want to try it. Thx!
Beautiful... I have a question where did you get the sequence where he is in the toys store looking at the picture of her ? Never saw that
Thanks RyukaMoon :).
I just used a mod that replace the skin of Geralt with Dettlaf's during the cutscene where Geralt and Regis visit the toys store together ;).
Great video!
Thank you! :)
I can't stop binge-watching >A<
A shame how late I am to the party!
Sorry for the spamming, but you deserve so much more praise and likes!
You're late but I forgive you! :pp
Kidding, better late than never ;). And thank you Yettyen! :)
@@jaykinsy Too kind, thank you kindly Master! **worships the soil under your feet** ^^

good work.
Thanks Archil :)
Dettlaff for ever !!!
lol ^^
Personne est parfait y compris Dettlaff ^^.
hum............. Permets-moi de douter de cela !
I sacrificed Syanna because I don't wanted to kill Detlaff.
Syanna deserved (although it's extreme), she was monstrous, she killed the innocent people, she offended Detlaff in the worst possible way - forcing him to murder / but I think I could love him,
there was something beautiful about him - maybe that he was fixing toys for children, or maybe it was my empathy and an act of mercy over a wild creature, I would give him my ribbon (Medieval way) and I would say that I can love him, maybe it would help him
Yeah Dettlaff is a complex character for sure and that's interesting that he makes people think about their own feelings and question their vision of morality, etc.
@@jaykinsy thank you for your comment
as for love , people complement each other
I'm like Regis but I need Detlaff to be like Regis
well, the truth is that Detlaff is very emotionality unbalanced, wildly
but he is loyal and I am more than 100% that he would not abandon me
I also think that because Im calm, I could soothe him
maybe because Im nurse :)
Love dettlaff so much... and I love your tribute!!! I want to share your video on my local websites, let more fans appreciate your video, can I get your authorization?
I'm glad you love it ^^.
Yes, you can ;). Just know that the music doesn't belong to me (copyright, etc.).

Jaykinsy I also love your other witcher series video!!! I want to transport your "the witcher 3 heros" video series to a Chinese video website called bilibili.com for non commercial use, can I get your authorization?
Well, I have nothing against that as long as you credit the author of the music :).
Sianna was the real beast of buclair.
You should make a video for every quest in the game, it would take forever but still.
xD ... next up : The old Lady & The frying pan xD
Lol ^^ Could be fun to make :). Some quests are really inspirational :).

Great potential for epicness for sure ^^.
The story didnt give details about detlaff and his tragic life, maybe CD PROJECT make a game that belongs detlaff and his life we play with him
We probably will never have such a game (even if it could be interesting for the fans of Dettlaff to know more of him). Luckily, what we have is already great :).
👏👍
:))
Dettlaff is the one
It's interesting to see that a lot of people really like him ^^
...I hate you ...why do you have to make such a heart-breaking song for Dettlaff? God, where are the mountains of tissue when you need them? T-T
I think it is saddening that there are no true happy ending for the Blood and Wine, not one where everyone could live happily ever after.
It's not like you are doing anything productive while the Witcher is actually doing his job and Dettlaff has given you more than enough time and warning before he actually unleashed his vampires on Beauclaire."
Technically speaking, the damages Syanna has done will be over within a century if she dies while the other choice will condemn a good man, well a good higher vampire, to a fate that is worse than death.
If only we could keep both syanna and dettaff alive :(
Too bad indeed... There's never full happy ending in the Witcher's world as you know ^^.
Imagine a fight between Gaunter ODimm and Dettlaff, who would actually win.
To beat Gaunter O'Dimm you need to be very subtil, so I don't know if Dettlaff can really win against him...
Even though a higher vampire can only be killed by another higher vampire, could Gaunter O'Dimm kill Dettlaff as we don't know what kind of monster he is?
+sosuke aizen, Did you let detlaff live?
A bit of an ironic song, since Dettlaff does seem quite broken
Sure that he's broken inside but the poor guy remains unbroken outside no matter what he tries to do to himself. I find this contradiction interesting.
love it jk thank you
