@Basilisk Nor am I, but as much as I hate it vojtasjedyny is kind of right. Ciri began robbing him of that title since book 3 and it got worse and worse. Thats partially why I love W3 it has the same plot of 'Geralt searches for Ciri' but is not robbed of his personality, still has stuff happened that are uniquely his and not spends all his time either talking about Clara...erm... Ciri, or thinking about her, or getting stuff out his way to get further, shunning everyone to be just grumpy, with no nuance. :( While Ciri in between of hardships does terrible things, feels fine and does not worry about contacting anyone. Thats why I loathe 'What can you know about saving the world, silly? You are but a witcher' phrase, its degrading in a way it needn't be, makes HER a main character and the only one that matter while pissing on Geralt and just brings bad book memories.

This is the most epic immersive story i ever saw in a video game, sometimes i wonder why people prefer watching like 5 seasons of GOT and then say i'm wasting my time playing this game twice but to tell the truth the witcher 3 is A MUCH BETTER STORY with much better characters. thank you for this
Especially since the story has so many different outcomes. This game nails making every quest, no matter how minor, feel important and tied to the story somehow. It's like the Lord of the Rings of video games.
yes!! i played the game twice just to make different dialogue/story choices and do quests i had forgot and it blew me just how different the outcome can be. sure the core experience is the same but it has so much replay value i actually didin´t expect this much from the game
Bear in mind that I am a 73-year-old man... One who has played a lot of video games. That said, none touches me more than playing through the relationship between father and daughter... Geralt and Ciri in the Witcher 3. Therefore, I am not ashamed to admit that when I get to the third act I get very emotional. Geralt always knows how to get through to Ciri when she is troubled and Ciri loves him for it. Incidentally, I have only started playing the Witcher 3 and I am on my fifth playthrough. I thought Mass Effect was awesome but the Witcher 3 has them beat. Nicely done.
It's once every decade or so a game or series comes along that has a world, story, lore and characters so rich. I am still playing The Witcher 3, and I got it on release date. I imagine I'll be playing it through the end of this year too. What a hell of a game. Kudos CDPR. And thanks to the author too.
^yeah...since i know that yeneffer is Geralt's true love,so i feel romanced her in mine "Main" playthrough(u know,the one on which u base your perception of the characters)...will start my second playthorugh and romance Triss....if Geralt's true love were not mentioned(that is if it was not based on a novel) then in my opinion i would have chosen Triss...i find Yeneffer a bit annoying(i think that is the same trait for which the True Geralt is so fond of her)
After having played through the game with both options, I have to say that my Geralt prefers Triss for the company... but having to tell Yennefer that you don't love her anymore is so heartbreaking. Seriously, that scene on the mountaintop ship after the djinn battle, if you tell Yennefer that the magic is gone? She just opened up, truly opened up, to Geralt for the first time in a very long time... and had her spirit crushed for it. Nothing else quite makes you feel that much like an asshole.
I love this remix it wasjust beautiful. I do agree with Paska, the music overpowers the dialogue when its the two working together to make the masterpiece you have here.

Same and something hard is that you know, you'll not play to such a great game until a very long time!:( I finished in twice, finished 253 quest in my NG+ save (can't NG++), finished all DLC's quest including B&W and HoS, my character is ultra OP, I discovered 90% (and surely going to discover 100%) of the map ''undiscovered places'' (the ''?'' displayed everywhere on the map) .. this game is wonderful!

Great video, but I have one major critique: The music is too loud. It is really hard to hear the spoken text during this video because of it. Would it be possible that you upload another version of this video with a lower music volume? :-) It's a great video as I said, but it really is hard to follow the text unfortunatelly.. And if it is not possible it's still a good video, worthy of the (in my opinion) best rpg of all time ;)

You do good work sir. However I will like to give a tip, coming from an audio engineer background. Use Adobe Audition or whatever program to drop the music to around the 18-20 range while the dialogue being around 6-12 range.
Wow, you should consider working in some company and doing trailers! BTW the sword fight cutscenes are top notch in Witcher, hollywood style or even better :).
A contender for the decade, hell this era of gaming. Seriously, I'm 21 and I've always held up Zelda Twilight Princess and Mass Effect as my all time favorites that influenced me as I grew up. In middle school it was Zelda, highschool ME, and my college years will be dominated by The Witcher. Undoubtedly The Witcher now holds a spot among my favorite games of all time.

The only reason I don't like that ending is because of bad memory flashbacks you get, good ones would make it much more emotional.
Yes, in the sad ending Ciri's fate is ambiguous. She is dead or has disappeared intentionally or unintentionally. However CDPR made it clear what Getalt's fate is. Ciri is gone due to his actions and he knows it. The intended fate of Geralt by CDPR is clear in this instance, though they stylistically panned away from the scene to keep it "ambiguous." But Geralt's fate is made very clear, despite we don't see his gory end spelled out for us.
+Damien d'Avoine Its when Ciri becomes empress of Nilfgaard. You get that ending if you kill Radovid( then you have to kill Dijkstra, not let Dijkstra kill Roche, Ves and Talar), and say ciri to see Emhyr, that's about it ;)
