Any tips or advice for a Beagle when he comes home after two surgeries for ruptured disc? How do you keep a 4.5 year old Beagle calm with other dogs around so they don’t hurt themselves

Thank you so much for the question. In cases like this, first of all, the vet should have sent you home with some medications that would help to keep your beagle calm. Secondly, I would focus on providing more mental stimulations like simple games that do not require moving or being active much. Rooo is perfect In the house how I am doing the training in the back yard. she is ok with sit out side. Especially when I stop at a corner that has a cross walk I ask her to sit. then I tell her look both ways she does not move until I release her with "ok"
