Which do you prefer? The Gildan or the Bella & Canvas?
I love both but because I have a boxy build, I prefer the cut of the Gildan 64000.
I understand their reasoning behind only making tees with side seams, but I do wish that Bella + Canvas made a tubular cut version of the 3001.
Not everyone has tight fit bodies lol.
I’m definitely a B+C man. I do use a Gildan 6455L woman’s Softstyle scoop neck shirt (which has been discontinued). But B+C seems to have a better reputation as an upscale tee over the Gildan (typical concert tee).
I prefer the Bella+Canvas for my personal shirts.
Both are ok. BC runs small. Gilden is good and soft.
i prefer m&o 6500m cuz it suits my powerlifting build.
It’s so helpful thank you so much
Wow can’t thank you enough for this video. So we’ll done and answered all the important questions. Thank you so much
Thank you for the kind comment!
@@KerryEgeler you’re welcome
Thanks! Perfect vid for what im looking for. I usually order the 3001 but inflation has caused it to go up in price and I was looking for a similar option on the slightly cheaper side.
Absolutely amazing video! love your energy! :))
Thank you so much
Very helpful video. Thanks!!
Hi, Please do a second video like this that goes into shrinkage after washing. That seems to be a big issue wit Gildan Tees and it would be a big help. Thanks.
Very informative thank you!
Thank you for watching!
Great video, 1st time watcher. I am actually designing shirts now to start my shirt business, and that's why I checked out your video, I'm looking at using 1 of these 2 shirts. I'll check out your shirt school. What camera do you use for your videos? It is very good quality.
I am on the same journey. Blessings to you.
This video is clear quick to the point❤
... यह बहुत ही अच्छी और काम कि जानकारी है... धन्यवाद 👍 🙂 🇮🇳
Great Video!
Am I hearing Ken Smash Bro moves during the transitions?
Great Video! Quick question... I was wondering if by chance you knew how the Tultex & Bella Canvas compare in terms of sizings? Specifically in the sleeve tightness, are they the same or is one sleeve tighter than the other? Thanks!
Gildan Softstyle is better. The fit is better and the feel is just the same. Gildan colors are just as beautiful and varied. I bought a few samples of both and after a few wash, I was really shocked to see the Bella Canvas fading (actually after the first wash) considering the hype. Maybe I just got a bad sample but...., I've been sticking to Gildan since then and have no complaints from customers. Plus the Gildan is about $2.00 cheaper.
Excellent, where can I find the best price?
agreed gildan has better vivid colors. the dye is so vibrant. its also better for oversized fit, cuz the sleeves are so wide, Gildan for the colors, and strong dye.
Omg I’m glad I saw your comment because my Bella canvas faded right away ! I’m switching to Gildan thanks
@@vitttiniyou are saying the actual fabric color faded? (Not the print?)
B+C 3001 is called a “Retail Fit”, which is a slimmer fit than a true to fit shirt.
Interesting!
That's a VERY significant difference in size. B&C shrink quite a bit (almost full size is list because they start slimmer, anyway).
These two shirts fit almost identically in my opinion, and the gildan shrinks more than the B&C 👀
That surly helps a lot. Much obliged. Buying both just to check how it feels.
so which one is better for you ?
@@Colorblind.000 I bought the 3001 bc and gildan 6400. Will reply soon.
@@spike8298 and what do you think?
@@elboukiliabderrahman9591 Bella Canvas 3001 has better quality.
Bella Canvas 3001 shirts are horrible for me. Anyone bigger than a large gambles on every order. The 3001 is half transparent (seen 2 times in this video), too small, light weight, cheap, feel like they’ll fall apart. Like a shirt you win at a carnival. The first time I got a sample 3001 I thought they ripped me off. Then I realized that all my other shirts were Gildan not Bella. I was just starting out. I had to change all my products to Gildan. I put it on and looked like a 7-11 sausage roll lol.. and it was the same size as the Gildans. If you are plus sized (and I mean even 5 pounds plus), avoid Bella. Gildans are durable, you can feel they are thicker.
P.S. Printful charges way too much sometimes that is absolutely true 😢😢 That’s my printer so.. 😅
This video is very helpful! How do I find out which shirt PODs use? Example, when I do Merch by Amazon, I don't see where I can choose the brand of shirt...
Some pods you can’t see it! But most you can. I don’t personally use Amazon merch
what about the white ones , which is more see through ??
Prefer the Gildan 64000. It holds up better.
Holds up on what way?
Bella + Canvas manufactured in bangladesh , i know this from 3-4 years when i entered in POD and doing some research work initially.
I was wondering about the level of see through especially in white shirts since I kinda feel like thats bummer for shirts. Does any one know something about that?
Which fitted, slim-fit wholesale tee would you buy?
I was wondering about the level of see through especially in the white shirts since I feel like that this is kinda a bummer. Does anyone know anything about that?
Shrinkage considered, Gildan might be a better fit long term
Nice
Whaat is there cotton in
bella canvas? It feels so synthetic!
Have tried samples of both and the Gildan 64000 is the 'happy balance' between fit, softness and thickness. For a unisex clothing store, the Bella+Canvas is simply too fitted for an average man (non-athletic). If your brand is for women I'd say the B+C is fine, but for Men the B+C is simply too fitted UNLESS you clearly recommend customers go one size up.
Yes but woman have boobs so don't you think the BC would be a bit narrow for them too?
@@sweetbeep that's also a valid point yes.
I do feel like the BC runs a bit small. I'm a normal medium fit and I got my B+C medium and it felt a little too snug
Which shirt is longer?
I know this video is a couple of years old but what kind of t shit are you wearing I like it's different
Hey do you have any advice on making a black shirt with white text. So my Printful sample arrived and the white was slightly textured and faded. Printful said that's the best it's going to get. This was the Gildan 5000. I may give Bella Canvas a go.
I've heard that if you duplicate your graphic, it helps with the saturation issue, as it will be printed in two layers vs. one.
Use FCFCFC not FFFFFF for white. That way they put a white base coat down first. Also the big POD skimp on quality
Interesting but I am puzzled why you didn't specify the cotton grade of each product correctly because the Gildan softstyle 64000 is not low quality cotton its ringspun cotton which is softer and offers a smooth printing surface than the carded open end cotton shirts like the gidan 5000. No doubt Bella Canvas is better because is notch higher with it made of combed ringspun cotton which offers offers an even smoother printing surface and comfy feel with the impurities being singled out. However their print quality is not that far apart as they would be if it's was the cheap one dollar cotton shirts, and if you have an excellent print provider it won't be that noticeable. While fabric does affect the outcome of your design your printer doesn't apply right amount white ink or screws up the pretreatment the ideal scenario will not come to pass.
This was mainly just based off my impressions and experience selling both tees
I’m not too happy with the Bella canvas, it started fading and shrinking after first wash with cold water.
Do you have any comparisons or reviews of the Gildan 2000?
I do not, but I should soon!
Gildan 64000 wear and tear is more. The graphics on Gildan fade/ deuterate quicker in my opinon. tried samples and its just gildan has been cracking more
BOXY HEAVYWEIGHT / Oversized Blanks are the best
Which one is more similar to a Hanes in thickness and softness? Hanes is what I'm familiar with from wearing them.
Hanes 5250?
I have not tried the Bella Canvas but I'm a seller on Etsy and using the Gildan 6400 and two of the white Gildan tees ripped at the collar on my first wear, that's pretty bad! I love the soft feel and lightness of the Gildan 6400 but I can't continue to use Gildan 6400 if it rips that easily from the get go. I just don't want to deal with customer complaints. Is anyone else getting this rip problem with the Gildan 6400 at the collar?
I seen someone on YT model the G 46000 and it was wonky at the collar. I asked him about it and he said he didn't mind. It would bother me.
Can I ask what you have decided to do?
@@sweetbeep Hi there. I have an update for you since my comment from a year ago. So I switched to the Bella Canvas 3001 and stopped using the GIldan 64000 altogether. I just couldn't justify using the Gildan 64000 after 2 tees ripped at the collar so quickly after receiving them. Perhaps it was just pure bad luck that I got the two bad ones. The Bella Canvas 3001 is a bit more expensive but so far in the last year my customers on Etsy has been overwhelming very happy with the quality of the Bella Canvas 3001 unisex tee. They say its a very high quality shirt and its very soft and comfortable, so I will continue to use it for now. I wanted very much to use the Gildan 64000 because its a bit cheaper so in the future I will order a few more to check on its quality again. It does feel very soft and lightweight just like the Bella shirt but I think overall the Bella is a bit higher quality.
@@guyinsf thanks so much for responding. Can I ask who your audience is? I'm trying to design some tees for a female population for an event and they appear to be in the thicker side. So I'm wondering if the G46000 would be best for them.
But I mean I hear you on the quality. I would not want my customer to get a lemon tee. Also that kind of review can really dent a shop reputation
@@sweetbeep I would say if your customer base is not too mainstream then getting the Bella Canvas or GIldan 64000 is ok. These are thin and soft tees. The more mainstream folks might want something thicker and heavier because that's probably the type of tees they are accustomed to buying at regular stores.
@@guyinsf ok thanks. So by thicker and heavier....which tee brand and styles would that be?
What is the shirt you are wearing?
Pacsun
You mentioned work shirt…what shirt do you think is best for a work shirt?
Probably a heavier Gildan
@@KerryEgeleryeah, I was thinking Gilman 5000 would be a good choice, but I’m always open to suggestions.
3:05 What did you just call me again?
2:10 What did you just call me?
Like you said, everyone has their opinions and this is my take on it.
They're NOT actually proud of United States manufacturing. Thankfully there are some regulations that cover what is required to list your product as "Made in....", "Manufactured in....","Materials sourced from.....". It's not odd wording. It's their attempt to skirt regulations so they can say their product comes from USA. It's a big deal if the claims are true. People will pay a little more for a product when it's manufactured in America, by Americans, and for Americans. They're not proud, the happy they've figured out a way to skirt regs.
I won't buy their products but I'm not trying to convince anyone of anything.
Can you tell me a few brands that are made in the USA.
What kind of t are you wearing?
It’s from Pacsun
@@KerryEgeler good old pacsun
How much is the B+cC and how kuch is the Gildan?
Depends on if you’re ordering wholesale or print on demand.
Why not compare the Gildan Triblend to THE BELLA canavas?
The Bella canvas in this video is not a triblend
7:12 what's a gildan 3001? :)))
👀👀👀 uh oh
Bottom line Bella is better wash it and it comes back the same! Gilden is second to me but good, wash it and its boxee!
64000 is tagless.
Hey ?? You forgot the most important part! The Guildan64000 is 65%polyester 35% cotton.= less shrinkage and moisture-wicking, ideal FOR fitness and active lifestyle !! The B + C shrinks horribly where the Guldan 64000 does not!!!
This is incorrect information. All solid color 64000 are 100% cotton, Most of the heather colors are 65% polyester, 35% cotton. It will be similar with B&C heather colors. In this video we’re looking at solid black and both t-shirts are 100% cotton.
U didn’t even put it on 💀
Dad bod
@@KerryEgeler this interaction might be the most useful thing, in this very useful video. Cheers and great job from a first time viewer

@@juinga78 I use 3600 uni, and my customers love it. But unfortunately they don't have a true navy for a order I need, so I'm thinking of Gilden.
