Thanks for watching today and a big hug to you if you share this video with someone!
This seems like the next big evolution in music production, since getting ideas from your brain into the DAW is always the biggest hurdle. Can you imagine if classical composers had this technology? Those guys wrote entire symphonies in their heads
Well, USUALLY the biggest hurdle
@@AbleinAbleton says the channel who posted a tutorial about Mozart a week ago
I think they would laugh at this saying it’s a crutch
@@adams.555 they probably would...until they discovered Kontakt Libraries :)
A few DAWs already do this, albeit, not live. Ableton, for example, has audio to MIDI.
This look amazing and I'd like this immediately.
Hey Daniel
2nd lol
Amazing
Hi Dan loved your new vid with roomie official
Hi Daniel!
That gutural scream worthy of a space andrew moment. The piano: plòóōœn
ah yes fr kvargrand
I would rather him spend more time on music gear & tips than UA-cam space shorts, if you will.
I've never seen a better use of the 3 first seconds of an UA-cam video than that one
This is awesome. It opens up music production to way more people - like, if you're disabled & can't handle an instrument, or if you just don't have the time to master an instrument, you can get your musical ideas down. That rocks.
I'm gonna have to tell my friend Lee about this. He teaches music to disabled kids. It's perfect.
not being able to handle an instrument is a type of disability and Zeus knows I've got it in spades
It took FIFTY YEARS but finally there's a vocoder you can just sing into and get vocoder sounds.
The song at 0:36 needs a full version good god
I want to know what those chords are!
@@AfonsodelCB !!!😍
ME TOO
Ikr like PLEASE ANDREW
Please share a link to this song if it is available.
Yup, that scream/piano moment was hysterical, even with the foreshadow and setup. Had to watch it a few times.
Man, this is some Beardytron sh*t right here... That's awesome! Not only does this affect workflow, it also makes music so much more accessible for people who may not be able to play these instruments, either due to skill or physical limitations. Amazing.
You've nailed it!
Please dont read into this comment as an advertisement of my channel. But I saw Andrew's first Dubler video many moons ago and I was truly impressed by how well he makes his content. I have been a fan for as long as I can remember. The other day I got an email from Vochlea asking if I wanted to review the new Dubler 2 and release my video when they released the product, and I had a mini panic attack / freak-out moment. All that went through my head is "I get to review a software ANDREW HUANG reviewed!!! And release it at the same time ANDREW WOULD RELEASE IT! I AM GETTING SOMEWHERE!!!" I have always looked up to this guy and his work and I wait very impatiently for his latest videos. Andrew please keep up the amazing job, I've watched you since long before you were even close to reaching 1M and here you are with such an amazing platform pushing forward this amazing passion. Keep being you, keep being strong, keep being "the HUANG"
Keep going!
dude pours his heart out and all we get is a "keep going"
@@therandombull7200Oh that's ok! Seriously, most of us wouldn't expect any sort of response at all! I know I don't have the time unfortunately to respond back to all my commenters, and my channel is a penny in comparison to Andrew's 2,000,000+ subs. It would be a full time job alone just to respond back to even a fraction of what he gets. The acknowledgement of my comment is worth a ton in itself. If I was in his shoes I would assume that it is probably someone trying to get more views onto their channel. Even if it was a staff member that responded back I still appreciate the acknowledgement, and all the amazing likes! WOW! I wasn't expecting that at all! Just happy to be a fan of Andrew's and I hope my comment gives him and his family a small extra smile. I've learned a lot from him just as many of us have.
Hey Vochlea, I would like to review the dubler 2 as well
@@andrewhuang Thanks for all your videos , Andrew. Can you please share any tips on how to come up with new musical ideas especially melodies and harmonies? I'm really struggling with writer's block and depression. Thanks and hope to hear from you.
Wow this does look so fun!!! ❤️
I beatbox and hum random melodies very often (as its a few of my stims) and this would be an absolute game changer for me for music making
Producing the music you’ve composed in your head is a HUGE challenge that turns a lot of people away from being the musicians and creatives they are… This is seriously game-changing.
the last note at 7:48 was too much for me😂😂😂😂
That song at 5:18 has a great vibe! You should make it into a full-length song!
This is Andrew we're talking about here.
It's either a full song already, or close to finished.
He's an absolute madman.
(If you join up on his patreon you can get everything he releases, and some stuff he doesn't)
Plink... plank... dink..........plonk
Sounds better at 2x speed
Was this ever released?
That chord progression at around 1 minute into the video is ACE!
I really want someone to transcribe it or for andrew to publish it
@@AfonsodelCB Bleu Orb: is this a challenge?
that lead on that last number is fucking amazing
:>
The fact you can test the instrument while tweaking to hear it in real time send like that would save so much time trying to make preset grooves/beats for songs!
As a guy that can’t play drums at all the beatboxing machine sounds so useful
dude is that a whole wall of modular synthesizers in the background behind you? That so sick yo!!
That Synth demo song at 3:15 was so good man, you should definitely do some more synth stuff like that!
This is so awesome. Lots of my musical ideas end up being "dumbed down" because I'm not really fluent in any instrument... Drawing notes on a DAW can be very time consuming as well... This would a total game-changer for me!
That screaming piano was funnily anticlimatic xD
Oh god now I too can play with dubler, hell yeah for them to make it not exclusive to their mic.
Absolutely love the vocoder pairing mode... really really cool!
That seems very fun, I want to try!
This is legitimately such a cool innovation
Your music's definitely gotten better since I really started watching you a couple years ago!
So cool!! As someone who has a basic understanding of music theory (working on it) but has a million musical ideas in my head which I can easily sing, Dubler 2 interests me A LOT 😍
Your music continues to evolve and I'm always so astounded. Astounded I tell you.
r/perfectlycutscreams would be proud of you
The first one was insane enough. Now the sequel is here and it's amazing.
we just gonna ignore how smooth that beat at 0:40 was?
Nice to see an SM57!
Definitely going to be giving this a serious go for the drums (I cannot sing very well at all lmao). And will give it a mess around for the other stuff too. Could be huge for me if I can quickly get drum ideas down. Depends how quick and easy it is to go complex I guess.
I love the idea of bringing music to live straight from the head
oh my gosh Andrew! i haven't seen your video for about a year (my apologies), i'm just floored at how many subs you have! very happy to see you reap the rewards of your hard work! as usual, great video!
Voice controlling synth is insane. This is insane I tell you. Andrew your demonstration is awe inspiring.
not only this is a reveloutionary step in music production and performance, but also the vocodre trick was damn smart!!!!!! now every one could be a natural robot.
Thanks for your video! Enjoyed your energy, watching the process and seeing the different tech!
ong gonna be a game changer for me, most of the time I sing or beatbox a melody and then TRYING to recreate it, not the best pipeline, but god damn this will help me a lot if it'll work with my voice
By far the best overview and tutorial of Dubler 2
Andrew: *Screams*
The output: *small piano bending sounds*
This looks really comprehensive… and dope 🤌🏾
Andrew!! Always quality content!!!
Hey bruf, i know the video is gonna be amazing and just wanted to wish u the best since you just became a fatber
*fat bear
Wow that track is incredible. Hope to see it soon! I guess the voice to MIDI is pretty cool too haha.
This song at the end is dope! 😍
I'm glad we are back to normal content. Nice video!
I’ve always wanted a tool like this - thanks
Awesome video! Maybe do a 4 producers + Dubler 2?
these videos are well done...good job andrew
What an incredible tool btw love your videos
This looks like an absolute blast!!!
Best review on this! Good stuff dude!
damn dude that track at around 6 minutes can be polished up and be a bangerrrrrr. the melody is fire
I could listen to this man's music forever
The fact you did all that with one program and an sm57, I might just have to get it
(and twenty years of music work)
Eyebrows on fleek
Love ya bro thanks for this awesome demo
damn bro, u have a really good falsetto voice. its sounds really natural in the clip at around 2 mins
HuAng is really experimental dude! ❤️🙌
DUDE THIS IS AWESOME I'VE BEEN NEEDING SOMETHING LIKE THIS AND U FOUND IT !
You are an amazing singer dude ❤️
Ive always kind of struggled with getting my melodies on a keyboard, I'm getting this.
Oooh, looking forward to it.
nice! honestly - might actually use this
This is super cool!
That "Dreaming About You" song needs a full version, I'd have it on loop
Dude, your thumbnail is perfect! Great job lol!
Your videos are always good ❤
That song at 5:18 you should call it still and make full song the next album.
Nice unexpected touch at the end ^♡^
Will definitely get this one day
Dude! What the hell that's awesome!!
That scream bit was gold! Oh man I gotta try out this plugin, thanks for this update vid. 🤯
I’m super glad that Vochlea is doing an upgrade program for existing dubler users
This is fantastic
I want the full version of that final song!
Man, these things would look to cool live. I think cool looking stuff has for sure helped with some electronic players live playing looking cool. I saw a dance performance one with a seaboard put on some setup with wheels.
This is so sick!
Awesome! I especially like that first track! I wonder what the vocoder effect would sound like for just regular speech with the ability to track bend. I imagine it would be good for robot voice effects.
I've been wanting to build myself a multi-band envelope follower - a sort of stripped-down vocoder - that could generate control voltages for each of several wide *tuneable* passbands, plus a follower for the entire voice passband. It would, in theory, allow a person to control different parameters of an instrument by what resonant bands they emphasize into a mic. The passbands would need to be tunable, to match it to the particular voice, as well as introduce different degrees of overlap or staggering between the passbands. So, for instance, tuning the lowest follower fairly low would let the player only generate a CV for that band when and if they decided to "go low" or mimic low plosives.
amazing video thank you Andrew. we need another 4 producers 1 sample please :D i love them
Really cool!
this is a great invention!
That’s really cool
You should watch what Reeps One is doing with it, he's a professional beatboxer who is always pushing limits. A collab with you two could be very very interesting.
Was waiting for someone to point this out!
Wow Andrew !!!!
this is amazing
you make some very pretty music
If y’all could drop the first of October video that be great
That Intro Music is So Fire!
I chuckled when I saw him play that lead sound with a drumpad
GREAT tutorial.
This would be awesome for something like a VST Talkbox
Andrew, do you use some sort of foundation? or is your skin a spray on silicon or from a mould maybe? Like the android in the aliens film
I splash water on my face every few days
@@andrewhuang Ahh yeh, that old chestnut.. You should share your routine with us sometime tho dude, its pretty impressive
Loved the whole video
It came out 55 seconds ago my guy
@@tedhanlon7822 i guess that's the joke
I would use this just for drums, seems so easy to just beatbox into it lol
This would actually be very useful for me :0
perfectly cut scream intro 😂😂
We agree!
This would be dope with a choir sample.
