The swing sets and teeter totters for the kids, the small 6oz. cokes that were always so cold, popcorn all in the car and we didn't get yelled at, all this before the internet, fakebook, computers, sources of constant interruption/cell phones, just a different era than the US is today. I saw no video games - they DID NOT exist until the first one in 1975, when I was 20, I saw the pong game in the theater lobby after I just came out from seeing "The Return of the Pink Panther". On your tablet, play the Saturday Night Live TV program in Oct. 1975,and see the screen of the Pong game, if you want to know what it looked like, how primitive and limited it was then; but they don't show how VERY LARGE, burdensome the machine itself was, for just that one game.
