Congratulations Einar! Looks like a great unit. It's nice to see your boys helping their dad. Brings back nice memories of me and my son working on projects when he was their age.
Did you get any extra attachments? What was totally cost to door? It a perfect size? Does have extendable tracks? And pivot boom? I don't need encloser/cab. Just roll bar with roof. Thx great video

I cannot believe how many negative comments you've received. Obviously a lot of these negative comments those people have never owned or operated one of these Chinese machines. I just bought a 2000 lb Chinese machine 2 days ago, and I am so impressed with it . I've had too many family members come over and run it for about 10 minutes, and now they're going to get one I got mine for 4200
Hi Einar, how delivery works from the china? Do you need to pick up it by your own on the airportl / port or there is a possibility to deliver it to the front door? Thank you
I put out a follow-up video where I collected it and how it was done. However, you can get door to door delivery as an option. I didn't know that at the time and not all sellers offer it

given what you know now from your experience buying, waiting, importing fees, and minor repairs on the excavator would you do it again? was there money saved? was it worth the extra hassle? and would that be offset if in the future you sell and recover some of the cost? for example paid the $25K waited..... few hassles used to build the house resold it for $20K in a year
I mean the majority of parts are going to be off the shelf components so great for people that diy repairs. You can swap out the motor for anything remotely similar (a motorcycle engine would be a killer swap in) in a couple hours. Imo better for repairs than something like cat where everything even bolts are proprietary.
@@einarmikkelsenPNW hogging with a digging machine is a slang way of saying you stick the digger into the material like it's already loose, grabbing full buckets in one go. The advice I received is that you should use the bucket and teeth to break up the soils in smaller passes, then grab broken dirt with the bucket to move it. One thing I noticed about this strategy is that it's less likely for the bucket to create a vacuum against the material. I think it's also less stress against the joints which reduces wear on the bushings.
You always have to be careful. Check out the company's history. I have tried to search for companies that are Japan-based, to get around the 25% tax on China, just to find out that their factory is in China.

Thank you. Yes, I like to keep them busy. Why let them use the angle grinder for 15 seconds when they can use the framing hammer for 15 minutes 😂

I don't know Mads.
Is closed cab hot in sun?
Yes. Crazy hot. The fan is not enough. Windows open and fan on is better. Clothing is optional.
Why did they remove cabin
Because the excavator with the cab is too high to enter the container
That is correct.
It takes 2 forklifts to load.
First forklift places the end on the trailer, second forklift goes under the other end, then pushes on the trailer.
They should have known that.
Thanks! 🙏
Check the oil in the belt gears. Often it is shipped wihtout oil
I will.

I do not believe the excavator can pick up one of those big logs. I just don't believe it.
The biggest ones were dragged on rollers, using rope, skinny logs, and the Tesla. The smaller logs were all moved with the excavator.

Take it easy on that machine, don't hog it. Grease all pivot points daily. Pray you never have to make a video re getting repair parts from China.
