With Kichen, you can only set up your GY with monsters, while Parlor allows you to dump Changeover for a fusion summon, or Tidying for a link 2, or a big dragon to henshin. Tinkhec can set up an OTK, all you need is a Sheou and a small Maid that can turn into Tinkhec. It would be 8200 damage, and for a control deck like Maid, having the ability to suddenly OTK is a plus (look at Sky Striker with Accesscode available). I’m not saying they should be on the list, but they should be put at the same position as Ernus, not being completely wiped off.
Thank you! I play pure Dragonmaids and thought I was going crazy when he said Kitchen was better than Parlor. I do still find it sad that Lorpar's effect isn't a QE, but thems the breaks.
I feel you. Everyone who doesnt know the deck well would assume Kitchen is better than other maids whereas alone she is not good. Parlor is almost even with chamber i usefulness because unlike Chamber, she can send a Tidying to extend, a big dragon, a maid, or the fusion spell. A chamber alone does not set up a Sheou play
I’ve also been playing dragonmaids since they first came out and I gotta say, kitchen is better in your opening hand since she can help set you up for a nurse combo, opening kitchen, and and 3 of hospitality, nurse, ernus, and parlor is absolutely insane, however I will admit that in the late game parlor is better
Agreed. Ernus isn't bad exactly, but Lorpar's probably the strongest of the dragon forms due to her ability to essentially blank an annoying negate basically for free. That being said... uh, buddy? Dragonmaids aren't a control deck. They're an OTK deck that has a little bit of control on the side.
I love the Dragonmaids they kinda intrigued me to start playing YuGiOh again and it's still pretty much my only deck that is kinda competitive. I hate the TCG names though.
Thanks to these protips, Dragonmaids have carried me to 3-0 in master duel, the first 3 games of Yu-Gi-Oh I've played since the GX days. I outed a chaos max dragon with tinkhecs hand effect 😥 Also, since ernus's first effect is SS2, you can use it during your opponents end phase to proc your Dragonmaid effects during their turn, then immediately use them again during your turn if you have one or two starters.
Agreed. I'd personally either have Madame Verre or Golem Aruru as top spot, since both their effects are pretty good. Though more likely Madame Verre, since she's a OPT Quick Effect Dark Ruler on legs.
Hey there, been enjoying your videos a lot! Just thought to point out (since I judge a lot of events), Dragonmaid Hospitality at 3:57 will have the entire effect negated by Ash Blossom, including its special summoning of a monster from the hand. "negate that effect" negates the entire effect (it's one effect).
I'm listening to the go to sleep playlist a lot lately. I think I saw/heard every video 3 or 4 times by now. That's why some fresh videos are much appreciated.
I'm not proud of it, but this is my favorite episode of the series. For exactly the reasons expected. Beneath all the card meta and historical fasciation with YGO, I guess I'm really only in it for the waifus.
I still think its a shame that her effect isn't a quick effect. All the big Dragonmaids' effects should've been quick effects and not just Ernus' and Tinkhec's.
Ehhh on Dragon maid hospitality, it negates the whole effect. You dont partially negate effects in Yu Gi Oh (Unless is a card like Necrovalley which is weird on itself) So if you ash blossom hospitality, you wont get the summon nor the send
you can use chamber dragon maid tag effect to tag out with the house dragon maid(if you had it on the graveyard) and then summon it back the next turn. then fusion summon dragonmaid sheou to then special summon house dragonmaid back using sheou effect during your next standby phase.
So your videos literally help my anxiety cope like I enjoy Yu-Gi-Oh and I'm getting back into playing the game but honestly half the time I zone out while listening because of how amazing Your voice sounds. On top of that I have enjoyed you explaining pendulum and Link monsters as they are new mechanic that I'm learning about
I love this list since dragonmaid is one of my fave decks and man i was so happy about there reprints in max gold since that deck was so expensive before now only chamber is expensive but ofcourse a 3 of since its the best maindeck card so great list
Went into Master Duel as a duel links player, not knowing what to play. Then i remembered dragonmaids sounded hella fun when I watched I originally watched this video. Having great fun with them now so cheers :)
I don’t usually comment cause I often watch on my Ps4 which lacks a comment feature for posted videos (yet you can talk in livestreams) but you’ve put in so much work lately I just wanted to say Thank You for the entertainment
Parlor should be definitely higher on this list. She is at the very least better than Kitchen. Parlor is the best starter of the deck alongside Chamber because she is a one card Hieratic Seal, or can make Sheou if you have a big dragon in hand. Sometimes you draw hospitality, changeover, and tidying so Parlor is even better than Chamber on those scenarios because you need to get your monsters in the gy. Kitchen needs an extender or two other dragonmaids in hand in order to start your plays. That is why some dragonmaid lists don't even play her or only play one copy of her. Also, Parlor and Kitchen dragon forms aren't useless at all. Lorpar is a speed one Impermanence in your turn which is pretty useful going second and Thinkec is situationally useful like when beating over big boss monsters like Dragoon or the Arrival Cyberse from the Ignisters which has won me games more often than I thought.
As a OCG player, Dragon maid is actually a meta contender and used to be 3rd best deck during VW rampant. So the high being high is kinda make sense to me 😅
@@KuzumiyaRiku right?! I actually have both a dragonmaid deck and a rokket/borrel deck with all the topologics. Plus Revolver/Varis is such a kool rival

Agreed! She's got the worst effect of the human-form Dragonmaids, but she's by far the cutest. I would almost play Laundry Trap just for her being on the artwork... if it were counted as a Dragonmaid card.
Imo Parlor is a much greater Dragonmaid than Kitchen is. Kitchen is very nice to set up an extra summon with Ernus if your hand already has excess dragonmaids, but in 90% of situations if you're going to add a card to the hand then dump it to the graveyard (aka if you dont have any dragonmaid monsters in the hand when you activate Kitchen's effect) you use it to effectively send a Dragonmaid monster to the graveyard instead. However, Parlor can do things that Kitchen can't do such as Sending Changeover to the grave, then you can use Changeover's GY effect to bounce parlor back to get Changeover in your hand. And the most common play I make with Parlor is simply just sending a Tidying to the graveyard so you get an extra free special summon. If you have nothing but a Parlor, you can even play parlor, send tidying, link parlor off into Pisty(or Striker or whatever you are playing), then activate tidying in the grave to special summon parlor again and then link the Parlor and Pisty into a Hieratic Seal. One card Seal combo isnt exactly the best thing ever but if its the only dragonmaid card in your hand you can still make a play
Still kinda wish the Chamber Dragonmaid would get her own dragon form and maybe give us the mansion they live in as a field card to make it feel more complete.

Dragonmaids - a deck I really want to build entirely as a fun gimmick deck, but I ain’t shelling out over $50 for Chamber, nevermind possibly multiple chambers. Maybe eventually they’ll reprint Chamber…
I somehow managed to get Chamber when she was just £15 a copy, so I got three of her for £45... Now it seems that £45 is how much she costs for one copy. It's crazy.
As a pure maid player, the biggest issue is that they don’t have a good consistency card. As you said, they are all mediocre. The issue is: dragonmaids CAN generate a lot of advantage when left on the field. A good consistency card could make them generate a little too much advantage. A maid player can hope, though.

Five headed link dragon is my favorite dragonmaid.
Thanks to these protips, Dragonmaids have carried me to 3-0 in master duel, the first 3 games of Yu-Gi-Oh I've played since the GX days. I outed a chaos max dragon with tinkhecs hand effect 😥
Also, since ernus's first effect is SS2, you can use it during your opponents end phase to proc your Dragonmaid effects during their turn, then immediately use them again during your turn if you have one or two starters.
Now we need Top 10 Witchcrafter cards to balance things out.
Agreed. I'd personally either have Madame Verre or Golem Aruru as top spot, since both their effects are pretty good. Though more likely Madame Verre, since she's a OPT Quick Effect Dark Ruler on legs.
Finally, an archetype meant for me!
I think DuelLogs just too obsess with this season of Kobayashi-san's Maid Dragon.
I think everybody is
I'm listening to the go to sleep playlist a lot lately. I think I saw/heard every video 3 or 4 times by now. That's why some fresh videos are much appreciated.
I want to build my deck of waifu's so bad but they're all so expensive
I'm not proud of it, but this is my favorite episode of the series.
For exactly the reasons expected. Beneath all the card meta and historical fasciation with YGO, I guess I'm really only in it for the waifus.
Sad Lorpar wasn't on the list. Its effect comes up a lot. I outed many zeus with it
I still think its a shame that her effect isn't a quick effect. All the big Dragonmaids' effects should've been quick effects and not just Ernus' and Tinkhec's.
Throwback to your 45 minute vid about making a viable dragon maid deck. You should make more vids like that!
I was watching this video after having watched Kobayashi's Dragon Maid S episode 10.
Love the videos dude, keep up the great work.
Ehhh on Dragon maid hospitality, it negates the whole effect.
You dont partially negate effects in Yu Gi Oh (Unless is a card like Necrovalley which is weird on itself)
So if you ash blossom hospitality, you wont get the summon nor the send
today's episode of Miss Kobayashi's dragon maid S was pretty good
you can use chamber dragon maid tag effect to tag out with the house dragon maid(if you had it on the graveyard) and then summon it back the next turn.
then fusion summon dragonmaid sheou to then special summon house dragonmaid back using sheou effect during your next standby phase.
So your videos literally help my anxiety cope like I enjoy Yu-Gi-Oh and I'm getting back into playing the game but honestly half the time I zone out while listening because of how amazing Your voice sounds. On top of that I have enjoyed you explaining pendulum and Link monsters as they are new mechanic that I'm learning about
I just realized all the dragonmaids and their dragon forms names are just scrambled like nurse = ernus thats pretty dope
Dragon maids are fun for me, as they taught me how to duel one handed.....got me kicked out of my locals though
Chile….
did you play yu-jo friendship?
I wish I did, but there was a lot of P.U.N.K. Seamin on the table
So the high being high is kinda make sense to me 😅
Using it for two years now in master duel, branded and bystials help it out toov
This vid makes me so happy! Can we get a “Top 10 Rokket and. Borrel cards in Yu-Gi-Oh” plz?
i'd like to see it too , since Rokket and Borrel are one of my favorite archtype
@@KuzumiyaRiku right?! I actually have both a dragonmaid deck and a rokket/borrel deck with all the topologics. Plus Revolver/Varis is such a kool rival
that's cool , i don't have the real cards , but sometimes i play Rokket deck on platform like Edopro and YGOmobile
@@KuzumiyaRiku awesome
bro i'ver been playing dragonmaids for ever happy to see there getting more recognition
RIP Laundry Dragon
She's pretty bad in this deck but I absolutely love her.
Its tragic bc shes the cutest by a mile
She has potential, I personally have one of her in my main since she can be a Hail Mary, and when she works, my combos tend to be downright absurd
Glad you decided to make another top 10 waifu list.
its also a good note that they are balanced enough that they can make small additions that dont turn them into op tiers but increase them still.
do top 10 red-eyes cards since you did blue-eyes and dark magician
YES, i always wanted an archetype top 10 (even if i wasn't expecting dragonmaid)
Maybe there could be a video comparing various archetypes but i don't know what you could do with it
Still, very happy
This archetype gives me Dragon Rulers flashback and I love it
Though she wasn't here, my favorite is Laundry Dragonmaid, because she's adorable!
Agreed! She's got the worst effect of the human-form Dragonmaids, but she's by far the cutest. I would almost play Laundry Trap just for her being on the artwork... if it were counted as a Dragonmaid card.
i'm liking these top 10 archetype videos
I was expecting the punchline the whole video and the fact that there was none made it even funier
Please do a video series of Top 10 cards "signature" of every single one of the anime series
I think sheou was arguably intended to be released later since house had no dragon counterpart. The other two cards probably were not.
Still kinda wish the Chamber Dragonmaid would get her own dragon form and maybe give us the mansion they live in as a field card to make it feel more complete.
Dragonmaids are my main deck, and holy I'm so glad you actually covered them
If you're planning to do more 10 top of an archtype lists, I'd love to see top 10 Madolche cards
10: Madolche Chateau
9: Madolche Messengelato
8: Madolche Teacher Glassoufle
7: Madolche Hootcake
6: Madolche Mageline
5: Madolche Anjelly
4: Madolche Ticket
3: Madolche Petingcesseour
2: Madolche Salon
1: Madolche Queen Tiaramisu
Making a top 10 for Madolche is tough. I had to even leave out amazing cards like Promenade and Chocolat. And I have to mention that Petingcesseour is as great as she is because Puddingcess exists.
@@enlongjones2394 Sorry I didn't reply to this earlier, but that is a pretty solid list. A+
I had a 2 and a half hour match between my Madolches and Dragonmaid. I won finally because he made a misplay
I'VE WAITED YEARS FOR THIS
Konami: We should give this archetype a unique name
Also Konami: Say no more.
Dragonmaid Lorpar(parlor), Ernus (nurse), Tinkhec(kitchen), Nudyarl (Laundry), Sheou (house).
Dragonmaids - a deck I really want to build entirely as a fun gimmick deck, but I ain’t shelling out over $50 for Chamber, nevermind possibly multiple chambers.
Maybe eventually they’ll reprint Chamber…
Could try a simulation so you can try a byild without cash
@@thedootlord Ngl, I always forget YGOPro exists - though honest question, is there a difference between YHOPro and YGOPro2, or am I just that dumb?
@@shanehaney6040 it's now edopro and i think ots codeing error removed
I somehow managed to get Chamber when she was just £15 a copy, so I got three of her for £45... Now it seems that £45 is how much she costs for one copy. It's crazy.
As a pure maid player, the biggest issue is that they don’t have a good consistency card. As you said, they are all mediocre. The issue is: dragonmaids CAN generate a lot of advantage when left on the field. A good consistency card could make them generate a little too much advantage. A maid player can hope, though.
Same here
They need either a spell searcher with a gy effect or a link one mosnter to search

Top 19 cards used for their effect cost and not their actual effect
Best $300 I've spent in a while (when kitchen was 50 a piece and chamber was 30). And It is one of my favorite archetypes for numerous, yet oblivious reasons.
Some dragonmaid cards:
Ah the *Waifu Tax*
Great video man
