@Fort Bend Tutoring-Mr. Witt quick question...On #4 when you were removing the parentheses...the first two were seperated by the )+(-1... you removed them and it became no longer )+( but )-(...could you explain please? Thanks, Sam
Sure, when removing the parentheses the symbol between them acts as a +1 multiplying on everything in the 2nd set of parentheses and a -1 if it’s a minus sign. Thus, I’m using multiplication rules to “remove” the parentheses.
