This such a cool stand alone piece of music, the album Heartworms itself is sheer class ultra smart pop album, hooks AND lyrics, just not what the majority want I guess?

5:14... that little critters' reaction to James' trick kills me. Also, these versions of Fantasy Island and Mildenhall are unbelievably good.
I like how Fantasy Island has an uplifting beat with James' self-aware lyrics (I don't want show you my feelings, I don't want to bore you to death).

Everyone knows by this point that Colin Meloy's video directorial style is heavily influenced by Wes Anderson. It would appear though that unlike his cohort, James Mercer's is a cool mix of Bong Joon Ho and Taika Waititi.
Cool, I can dig it. I also love the remixed tracks, especially Fantasy Island which is my second favorite track on Heartworms behind Rubber Ballz.
