Also of note because you mentioned it, the Vector Sport LMP2 is in Isotta Fraschini colors because Vector will be running their Hypercar program potentially before the end of this season.
David your videos are always are packed with information. I really enjoyed this one, keep them coming. Thank you and have a great time this weekend in Sebring.
Excellent walk through the WEC paddock David. Informed comments and commentary for each team and car. IMHO, with your knowledge and passion about motor racing series and racing cars, you are deserving of a place in the professional WEC and/or IMSA broadcasting industry. I think it’s not “if” it’s “when” mate. I really enjoy your posts on YT. Keep up the excellent work. 😊
WRT possibly stepping up to Hypercar isn't as much of a stretch considering they are already confirmed and preparing to run the factory BMW effort in WEC from next season.
Amazing to see the new cars in the paddock like this, off to Le Mans this year and super excited to see these in person. Thank you for all the amazing content David as always! You are my go to for US racing news from here in the UK.
"WRT -- a lot of history here." I'll say, David. They're the only team on the planet to have the Holy Roman Emperor driving for them! (That would be Freddie Habsburg) Seriously, though, a very good video -- almost as good as being there. Thank you for it.
Awesome video man...cant wait to see the cars in real live @ Spa.......Spa is the third round actually.....after Sebring they go to Portimao...Rollercoaster track....been there in 2022 at the ELMS final
Lowkey and probably unpopular opinion, I'm rooting for a Vanwall win, especially at Lemans, because people is saying they'll not be competitive as the other manufacturers. But I think they have a chance to snatch a win.
Being 4s off the pace on skill as well as probably bop intention, they don't. Their own track record with reliability and potential-minimisation also won't help, especially with the amount of other contenders this year.
I know that there is talk about this WEC race being replaced with a race and Indianapolis. I just think the track (not the facility, but specifically the Indy Road course) is just so mikeymouse. It was for F1, it was for Moto GP, it is for Indy Car and NASCAR. But it's particularly uninspiring compared to all the other tracks the WEC goes to during the year. Spa? oh yeah; Le Mans? Bring it!; Sebring? Heck yes, great track and so much history, a true endurance test on a rough racetrack; Indy Road course? ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
The 1000 mile race is a WEC event and will happen on Friday, March 17. The 12 hour race is an IMSA event and will happen on Saturday, March 18. It's a double header. BMW will join WEC in 2024 (next year). Acura/Honda is only interested in competing in IMSA for now, but the car would have to be badged as a Honda if they decided to join WEC.
Jacques never won a Monaco F1 Gran Prix. He won the drivers championship. So isn't really the triple crown as recognised by most. Montoya and Alonso remain the only 2 active drivers with 2 legs of the 3 achieved. Dixon stands a better chance than Jacques to win at Le Mans in the Ganassi Caddie to join them on 2 legs.
Even if Ferrari's chassis is made by Dellara, I don't think it's the same chassis as LMDh cars are using, they are visually different. Ferrari's is smaller and more round while Cadillac and BMW ones are wider and flatter on the top.
@@randygravel2057Some classes are the same, the GTP class from IMSA can race in WEC as well, same as the LMP2 cars. IMSA has LMP3 and GT3 cars though while WEC has GTE cars.
Great job as always David. These tour videos are fantastic!!!
Suck up
10:15 WRT will be fronting the BMW Hypercar effort next season.
That's right. I had forgotten about that. BWM always splits those programs for some reason.
And Prema will give support to Iron Lynx for the Lamborghini Hypercar project, as they are under the same parent company.
Also of note because you mentioned it, the Vector Sport LMP2 is in Isotta Fraschini colors because Vector will be running their Hypercar program potentially before the end of this season.
I believe Team WRT are indeed moving up to Hypercar next season to run the BMW effort, great video man.
Thank you for showing us around, David!
David your videos are always are packed with information. I really enjoyed this one, keep them coming. Thank you and have a great time this weekend in Sebring.
Love the up close and personal paddock tour. Keep it up!

Great video for those of us that can’t attend. Thank you.
please do more paddock tours, espially at events with multiple series

Great job. You’ve become my favorite outlet for racing news from the USA
Reminds me of Ted Kravitz’s Notebook series on Sky F1, good work!
This was sick, thank you David for representing the coolest series in racing right now.
Bummed I couldn't swing sebring this year, REALLY wanted to make it down. Thanks for the content! so excited for this weekend
Thanks for the paddock tour!
Great inside info….didn’t know Zac Brown owned United…….look forward to more Sebring coverage…..
Well joint owner with Richard Dean.
Great paddock tour David👍👍
Hey David, Congrats on a very well documented video. I didnt know you covered WEC. I thought you were exclusively Indycar . Keep up the good work.
He probably wouldn't have been there if IMSA wasn't also running.

Very informative. Thanks, David.
Awesome eye candy, David, tyvm ^5
I am new to your channel but this was a great video!
Great video man. Fantastic.
WRT will be in hypercar next year as they'll bring the BMW M Hybrid V8 over to the WEC
Great coverage 👏
Awesome coverage!!
It is confirmed on the entry list Proton will not be in Hypercar at Le Mans, they will most likely debut their 963 at Monza.
Great insight David, thanks!
GREAT JOB THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!
Very good video. Wish I could’ve made it this year.
Fantastic, Ferrari garages look great.
tks for show us this amazing cars . cheers guys
Thanks, I enjoyed this.

Villeneuve triple crown???
When did he win the Monaco GP?
I’ll see you there this weekend!
Nice coverage!
Great stuff mate
A very great video
The mobile offices are interesting.
Are you going to Le Mans? My brother's and I are going this year for a once in a lifetime kind of trip!
9:06 Toyota's new front diffuser on the run!
Congrats on bringing better coverage than WEC or IMSA!
i like lmp2 cars, nice and loud.
Wait Villeneuve technically won't be able to win the triple crown because he never won Monaco.
Think triple crown is LeMans, Daytona 500 and F1 world championship only Graham Hill has this record. Mario Andretti and Alonso have come close
@@vernongoodey5096It's actually Indy, Monaco and Le Mans. But there are two versions, one with the Monaco win and one with the Drivers Championship.
Any updates with regards to the new GT3 Corvette?
I wonder if Jaques and Gilles Villeneuve ever went up a hill to fetch a pail of water
It's going to be interesting to see how many teams, from both P2 and GTE, make the jump to Hypercar.
It begs the question, will WEC need LMP2 anymore?
Gives me Lmp3 nightmares
It's pretty much confirmed that LMP2 won't have a future in WEC. They will stay at Le Mans and ELMS though.
Team WRT are confirmed next year with the BMW LMDh car

Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't see that Jacques ever won Monaco.
Why is Acura not entering? Rules too different from IMSA? Budget since they are already in F1, indy and IMSA?
They would have to enter as Honda but Honda doesn't want them to race in WEC as far as I know.
WRT confirmed ages ago that they will race with BMW in WEC in 2024
10:53 Poo-Joe? WTF lmao! no no no.

Kinda shocked you didn’t know WRT has already announced a factory hypercar program with BMW next year
Nope because a lot of WEC news doesn't get much coverage if any at all.
@@runrafarunthebestintheworld it does when you follow media out side of America
WRT has BMW hypercars coming
So is this a WEC event or IMSA event? I don't see Acura or BMW

American team names are almost always pretty bad, I don't know if it's the american surnames or the tendency to join 2 or 3 to make a unremembered one
your peugeot pronunciation hurts so bad
Worth the watch
